1 heat of 10 athletes in a 35-minute jam session. Best run counts, ranked 1-10. Judges will rank competitors throughout the contest.

Max deserved gold he did more rotations in total and stomped a more risky run. Judging was definitely questionable this year. Andri obviously had a great run especially on the jumps but Max really put together a more complete run

Is it just me or were all of the skiing events commentated on poorly? I had no issues with snowboarding but was underwhelmed by the skiing commentators.

whoever decided to tell the athletes, if you mess up. even slightly? throw away the run.

Why is that
If a mistake is made, it can be assumed that it won’t be a winning run. Why risk injury/fatigue chucking a triple cork on an 80 foot jump in a throw away run? If your boss told you that a project you were working on was cancelled, would you keep working on the project?

provide the audience with any entertainment.
It should always have the aspect of
"1 trick could win this for me"
like you mess up on the rail but land an

@@MrTmac2023 yes theu do throw away winter olypic slopestyle runs. Last wi ter Olympics was the first to host slopestyle. A few athletes came under fire for throwing away runs from people who didn't understand why.
