Flip Mike dude thank you so much for looking in. I appreciate it homie! I had to put SA plans on hold this year, but hopefully next year we can catch up in person.
Awsome bro that would be epic, lookin forward to it! Keep doing what you doing till then! P.s don't be shy to show us some of your footage and the skate scene around your area 👊🏻
@@mikesparrow7707 Definitely man, been thinking on what kind of skate related stuff I can make. Will get something in front of and behind the camera for sure!
I can relate to your life there in Korea, I've been married to a Korean for 47 years and have lived in Korea off and on for over 12 years and have visited many times because of family there. I shot street there before there was a term for "street photography", 1974. Last time there 2008 - 2013, I studied digital photography and participated in National (한국사진작가협회) photo contests, it was great fun and I learned quite a lot from fellow Korean photographers. I enjoy looking at your videos, keep up the great work.

How do you get your work and what kind of visa support you get to live and work there? I've been trying since 2018 and things didn't work out on my side.
I’ll be making some videos about the practicalities of working in Korea early next year. Keep an eye out for those. In short though, I have a residency visa. As for finding work, I formed a relationship with one company, built a portfolio working with them and used it to apply to other companies. I’m sorry to hear things didn’t work out, it’s a challenge for sure. Hopefully I can try make it a bit more clear what worked for me when I make those vids.
I was reading about the legality of street photography around the world the other day and one article and wikipeida said that taking a picture of a woman on the street without consent is considered akin to sexual assault. Is this true? I noticed you took a candid shot of a boy on the back of a bike, would you have been able to do that if it was a girl?
There are laws rightfully in place to protect people from sexual harassment. Photography can be done in public in a positive, respectful and edifying way to everyone involved. Always be kind and reasonable when photographing in public.
I just want to watch you eat stuff... can you maybe put out some content like that? Close ups of your mouth... bit of dribble...bit of mess... smearage... that kind of stuff. Please?
Wanna say a lil summin summin to let me know you stopped by?
Can't wait for your next video!
Me neither!

How do you avoid the photographing laws in South Korea as a street photographer?
Be visible, be reasonable, be kind~
