    Best results with Grip Control off. 2 possibilities: 1) the tests are not reliable (waste time) - 2) the Grip Control is useless (waste money)

    All cars equipped with esp has the same option by default: immitation of differential lock. Why Peugeot put so much of marketing to the option which my old 2006 Accord had almost 20 years ago))?

    • @4x4.tests.on.rollers
      @4x4.tests.on.rollers  Год назад

      The fact that all cars have it doesn't mean that it works the same, it actually doesn't even mean that it works at all. There are many factors to make the system effective.

      @@4x4.tests.on.rollers it works on many cars. All vags after golf 5 has it even extended (try to search for XDS), my current Ford Kuga fwd has it and it works good as well (I have tested it). Esp itself as a system is produced by may be 3 companies (Bosch, Continental ..) not sure Peugeot has invented something new.

      @@emartu7990 Yes, it works on many cars but there are some where it doesn't work, check our test of Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid 2WD or Volvo V50 2WD. And I know very well what XDS is, don't worry but it usually is an option, not a standard feature.

    the funny thing is that 5008 didn't got out with the system online and with the system off it got out.
    I WANT TO SEE THIS TEST WITH A CAR WITHOUT ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD), JUST WITH AN OPEN DIFFERENTIAL.

  • @maxrey4055

    So it appears that the AGC is not much of difference. I was looking to buy a 5008 2020 in Mexico and they no longer have available the AGC option as they did in 2019. I actually walked away from the dealer because of this to go and buy a Forester, but now it appears that the AGC is not much difference anyway.

      I owned both fozzie and 5008. For comfort and more premium feel I used the 5008. For track days I used my forester SH. Btw it's running 374whp at E85.

      @traumark1 7 лет назад +1

      As far as i understand, when it says ESP OFF in modern cars it only means ASR OFF. You can never turn off EDL which is an essential part of ESP. ESP by itself is comprised of ASR (cuts engine power), EDL (brakes the spinning wheels), ABS and many other systems.

    • @4x4.tests.on.rollers
