My BOLC Experience! At this point I have come so far on my journey. It only got easier along the way. Still some bumps and humps but I pushed through! I have truly lived up to the name resilient and I'am so proud of it! Im happy to share my experience with you all hard times and the fun times. Never judge a book by its cover but at least read the bio lol In spite of what others think and feel about me I stay true to myself by being me as I learn and grow. I hope you guys enjoyed this video thanks for watching! XOXO

Girl you sound just like me! Im going to med service bolc soon & came across your video. I kind of had problems at advance camp especially with the peer reviews & what they were saying! Im not the type to be fake for friends so I feel like the same thing will occur at bolc. Great video by the way.

I did OCS and the first phase of BOLC all at Fort Benning, GA in 2001-2002. I was prior enlisted. Although I did well physically and academically it was a complete emotional and traumatizing nightmare that would scar my memories for the rest of life. Back then there was alot of literal physical abuse, dehumanizing humiliation, race and gender discrimination, and some corrupt cadre would do favors for certain females who did favors for them if you know what I mean. It was beyond horrible. No one reported anything however due to fear of being singled out of the crowd and forced out of the program or Army. They regularly sent students home, especially females. We had around 20 females in our company to start with and only around 6 ended up making it through the program. Comparably only a few guys got sent home. I eventually retired as a Major. The pension is nice, but otherwise I would highly recommend going the enlisted route in the service unless, of course, things have gotten better with the program. The traumatizing experience took me two years after graduating from OCS before I could get past the tears to even talk to anyone about it.

Sadly a lot of this nonsense is still happening! Good to hear others experiences and to know your not the only one who witness and/or the same foolishness. It’s so easy for those not affected to down play it all! I too sometimes have weird/ uncomfortable dreams about OCS. This video don’t do justice have to hold back a lot!

I saw thus video before I went to BOLC at Fort Lee just to know what to expect and my experience is very almost similar to yours, so similar that you might laugh at it. It's good that I'm about to graduate in about a week.

Wow that’s crazy but sadly I’m really not surprised… when I tell my story/experiences it’s truly not to discourage or scare anyone or whatever negatives some people think. I tell it to give people an insight and to encourage them to be resilient no matter what the experience is. What ever your experience was like you made it through 🙌🏾
