Hello guys I watch most of videos and all are good for someone wants to learn even even if u cant repair your car but it gives u the ideas how mechanics work so hard to fix our cars we daily drive thing I noticed is: not to rush to do the job but safety is number one plz wear safety boot, don't work with ring on your finger and wear gloves if necessary. English is understandable as is not your language but is clear in all u explain. plz keep up good work guys u are the best.
I dont think it did. I own a cruze myself. They got 138 cranck horsepower. So you essentialy have maybe 115 to 120 horses to the wheels. Its a slow car for sure. Thats why these cars dont last long enough. Many 17 year olds racing the shit out of them. Its an economy car. Mine is stick shift so its awesome tho 👌👌
@@IntentionallyLeftBlank. I've had 2 of them. First one brand new 2011 lt2 with rs package and never had an issue with it, they had to order it from manufacturer because of all the options we got, miss the shit outta that car. Second one was 2014 lt with rs and it was a complete shit show, problem after problem from air flow to trans lines to cooling system the plastic parts just kept failing
Oh yeah, had to replace both front wheel hubs within first year, calipers and rotors too. Could go on and on with the work I had to do that car, completely turned me off of cruze
"we have more than 200 videos on this car, you know why?" Because it's a piece of shit lol But you guys are incredibly helpful and I'm grateful you provide this info
I have one and i bought it used with 288k km on it now it is 330k km and still no big problems like engine or transmission i only had minor issues like the ac fan and the vvt solenoid i think if you take good care of a car all cars would be great but if you just want to relax take a Toyota
Question! The new compressor I have is already prefilled with ac oil, if there is no leak everything should be good after replacing the compressor correct? Or do I need to vacuum again? Thank you
Hello I love your videos always helpful how do I get in contact with you I having issues with my Chevy Sonic I want to send you a video of what is doing to see if you can recommend me what can be the problem
hy buddy, my ac compressor got jammed then my mechanic told me to replace it and I followed the same, but what he did you know he installed caprice ac compressor to my cruze 2015. after installing it I feel vibration and rpm fluctuation. i want to ask you is it okey to use caprice compressor in cruze? please reply as I'm in big tension.
I have this issue . When the ac is running sometimes i feel this vibration in the cabin look at the engin ours litlr shaky. Turn the ac off or the fan off the vibartion disappears. I checked the engin mount r good. The compressor is not making noise. Moreover when the vibartion is happening the ac still blows cold air. Any ideas what to check?
I have the same issue and they told me that it could be the compressor bracket that makes the car shaky. I'm going to change that to see if it solves the problem
Just took my 2013 Cruze to the shop and they found the compressor shorted to ground, so internal failure. Bill to replace? $3600. Dafuq?! Just looking at this job, if I can do it without having to disassemble the whole front end of the car (which looks possible), that hardest part is draining and refilling the system. Compressor goes for less than $300. I have no idea where they get off charging me that much. Am I missing something here, or is the garage trying to take me for a ride?
@@tayallen7986 The job wasn't too bad at all. New compressor, new condenser, and new expansion valve, plus I replaced the leaking Schrader valve and high pressure ports. Whole job took a leisurely 8 hours and went smoothly. About $500 in parts and a 6 pack of beer. :)
Paul Jenkins no the engine stutters I figure it out it a camshaft sensor it still has it somewhat mostly when it’s cold if I let the car warm up before driving which I should anyway it doesn’t do it at all

@@MrInfinity97 no, power loss was an airflow issue. Needed to change valve cover, pcv Hose and purge valve

Mine started doing this as well! Wish I could find an answer somewhere 😭

Would this repair help ac to flow better
Yes
Hww do you take the belt off?

They’re taking you for a huge ride I just did this myself on my wife’s Chevy sonic not as difficult as it seems

Paul Jenkins I’m still having trouble with my wife car the ac compressor works fine but now it’s just have this awful stutter
@@tayallen7986 Do you mean the engine stutters or the AC compressor is cycling on and off?

have you ever installed a AC system in a car that was built without one?
Do you have to add oil to the new compressor installed and if so how much?
It should say the amount of g for your ac at the front of the car, look down at the sticker when you lift the hood up

How can i contact u by email ?
Its stupid you cannot bypass this .they make you have to replace it .
