my ac clutch keeps blowing the 10 amp fuse and i checked the wiring for damage and it has none. also checked resistance for the clutch coil and it says 2.4 ohms so my guess is that the coil is the problem but I've installed a 20 amp fuse to test and it still blew it after a few minutes, is it normal for the amps to go that high? its a 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.8... the ac compressor works perfectly and blows super cold air but it just blows this fuse all the time and the relay is good too PLS HELP ME

Hi, I have a Chevy Cruze 2014 and the AC really does not cool when the weather is hot. I took it to a repair shop and they only added some gas but I have to drive for a long time before the temperature cools down. Someone said to replace the compressor but I want to be sure that will fix it.

My chevy cruze is the same I think it's a bad design. My old chevy hhr a/c blew real cold air fast.

@@cramps3677 Nope. I did something for myself. I added some PAG 46 oil while refilling the gas, changed the valve and made sure there was no leaks from the valves and it seems to be better now

On my 2012 Chevy Sonic the ac stopped working all of a sudden. The compressor does not switch on. I did notice that the radiator fan now stays running all the time. Weird thing is that if I unplug the battery for a while the ac works again. However in the morning it stops working again unless I unplug the battery then it works again. Any idea why? Also this happened after I got the car back from the dealership for a turbo replacement. Thanks.

I had an issue where I wash the car the ac stopped working.. found out the environment sensor or something like that gets wet and makes the ac stop working... disconnecting the battery fixed for me too
