Chicken Nuggets Recipe!
Macros per Chicken Nugget (Makes 64):
45 Cals, 3g Carbs, 0.5g Fat, 7g Protein!
Ingredients:
64oz Chicken Breast
100g All Purpose Flour
21 Seasoning Salute
120g Panko Bread Crumbs
2 Large Eggs
Directions:
1.) Slice your chicken breasts into about 1oz nuggets. Now add your flour and 21 seasoning salute to a bowl and mix. Then add your panko to another bowl. Lastly, add your eggs to another bowl and whisk.
2.) So now it’s time to dredge the nuggets. You will have one hand designated as the dry ingredients hand and the other as the wet ingredients hand. Try your best to keep with this because it’ll make this process soo much easier.
3.) I used my left hand as dry and right as wet. So line your dishes in the order of all-purpose flour, eggs and panko bread crumbs. Now take a chicken nugget, dip it into the flour covering all sides. Then dip it into the egg covering it like you did in the flour. Then dip in the panko doing the same process. Add to a pan to hold till you add to your air fryer. Repeat this process for all 64 nuggets.
4.) I had to do this in 5 batches because my air fryer could hold 12 nuggets each time. So spray you air fryer tray with non-stick cooking spray and add your nuggets. Spray the tops of the nuggets with your cooking spray and then cook at 360 degrees F for 9 minutes total. At the 5 minutes mark, you will flip the nuggets so they cook evenly. And that’s it! Repeat and enjoy!
Crinkle Cut French Fries Recipe!
Macros for ¼ of the Fries:
205 Cals, 45g Carbs, 1g Fat, 5g Protein!
Ingredients:
3 Medium Sized Russet Potatoes (about 1000g in total)
Non Stick Cooking Spray
Sea Salt
Directions:
1.) Take one of your potatoes and slice in half long ways. Then face one of the sides of the slices potato face down on the flat side. Now slice straight down across the potato. Now flip the thicker slices and slice again to get even sized crinkle cut fries. Repeat this process with all your potatoes.
2.) Now spray your air fryer with non stick cooking spray and add ⅓ of your fries to it. Spray with non stick cooking spray and add sea salt. Add to air fryer for 12 minutes on 400 degrees F. After 7 minutes, take out and toss the fries so they will cook evenly. Add back into the air fryer for the remaining time. Then enjoy!

When I was a kid I used to only ever be able to get Dino Nuggets at the snack bar at my local pool. Only when I grew older did I realize you can find those bad boys in the frozen section at most grocery stores. I don't know if it's a cop out answer to say the place I go for nuggets is the grocery store, but we all know the dino shapes just hit different.
And they arent even super high calorie cause they fill u up quiclkly

Putting the chicken in a food processor first for a good mince makes for more of a fast food style nugget.

Alternatively, you can just mince the chicken roughly with a knife (since cleaning out a food processor it’s kind of a hassle IMO).
Edit: After mincing, you should put the pieces into a freezer for easier breading. :)
I buy the nuggets from the store a lot and I notice they mince it up.. I don't like the minced chicken nuggets I might start making them from scratch.

Why would you want to do that the whole idea is that it real chicken brest not minsed up with all 9ther parts of the chicken, if you making them homemade this is the way if you want shit go get fast food or store bought nuggets

Air fryer is just a fancy term for small convection oven. By the time you’ve prepped everything your normal convection oven will have heated up and you won’t have to mess around doing batches in your air fryer, so it’s actually way quicker!

My fave place for both the ultimate crinkle fries and nuggets is my gran's place. The kitchen had this tiny window that would open up to the living room. She used to buy the little serving trays and we could 'order' the fries through her little window. Still have the best memories to those days! And no fries ever beat hers 🍟

Favorite Nuggs are from Birchbark Eatery in Glensfalls, NY. They are technically made out of seitan, but they have the best vegan chicken nugget recipe I've ever tried. They have the perfect amount of spice and seasoning and are the most realistic vegan chicken nugget that I've ever tried. Blows all others out of the water and a must try!

I have always like to make my own,would regular fry them when I was younger,then starting baking them, after rolling them in a slurry of cornstarch for crispy mess, now I just air fry them!.... yum!👍

I just made some chicken nuggets by taking some Epic brand baked pork rinds, throwing them in a food processor and using them as the breading for my chicken. So crispy and 0 carb.
Soooo I never actually liked chicken nuggets that much :~ but my favorite fries were these ones we would get in an old 50s style diner near Leavenworth Wa. They'd come in the big red basket and the ketchup bottles were that old school shape, loved it.

CHICK FIL A has the GOAT duo with the waffle fries ANDDD grilled nugs!! Plus their sauces 🤤🤤🤤 I already ordered my red velvet, but I know I’ll blow thru it so fast, just like the brownie batter and golden sandwich!!
Tip: if you want that fast food chicken nugget texture use mince chicken (or turkey cause that's all I can find). Squish it it with you hand to break up the strands and then roll it into a ball/nugget shape.
Chickfila nuggets are #1 and the fries from “Moonies Burger House” in Austin TX were always a favorite of mine, but five guys is a close second!

Chicken nuggets from a local little diner here in our city. And probably the French fries too. The seasoning they use is the bomb.
Tried this before with almond flour for less carbs and more of the good fats , works just as well(maybe not as coated as yours) but if you`re having chips with them , i much rather have less carbs on the chicken and a bit more fat(from almond flour)

45 cals per nugget is not so bad but it easily add up intro calorie surplus be careful how much u consume . I would recommend use egg beater more protien and less fat !

For breaded nuggets I have to go with either Wendy's or Burger King's spicy nuggets. They are close enough in taste either will work for me. Bonus for not needing any dipping sauce so I can eat while I drive :). My go to fast food nugget though is Chick Fil A's grilled nuggets. Better flavor to me but a little messy if you try and drive & eat. For french fries my all time favorite is a local place called Hamburger Station. They cut the fries fresh every day. More like carnival fries. Inside they also have bottles of malted vinegar.

1 oz of chicken when I look it up shows as 47 calories. How can the nugget be less than this with the breading?
Its chicken breast, which is 28 cals per gram
@@aq421 that makes no sense... there is 28 grams in 1 oz and each nugget is 1 oz so if we used your math each nugget would be almost 800 calories.
@@VampireOnline Yeah it makes no sense. I've had that issue before where calorie counting apps showing completely the wrong calories
@@VampireOnline Pretty sure chicken breast is around 170 calories per 100 grams. Best thing you can do however is to use your calorie counting app to scan the barcode of the particular chicken you bought, as different sellers have different nutritional values listed. It's impossible to track your calories to the T but that's something you just have to get used to.
@@beanboy3218 Another easy trick if you get in a bind is using MyFitnessPal or googling USDA, you can search and/or find literally everything on there 💪 it’ll break down all nutritional data typically in the 100g portion.

To be honest I haven't had nuggets in a long time other than from McDonald's so they are the only ones I truly remember the taste of but you really can't go wrong with those. For fries, I'd go for Burger King for sure.

Hands down McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A fries are the best. Especially when they are recently brought out. As for chicken nuggets I like McD’s but only when they are fresh, once cold doesn’t taste the same.
