@mundanestuff these are before that was possible, the newer ones are the ones that got stolen easy. These lose timing belts(if not replaced on time) and are interference engines
all my dad did was give empty promises and still complains about everything. i never got to do this kind of fun stuff. i had to either play by myself or just explore the woods. its nice to see guys be cool/good dads
When your young fella discovers rear wheel drive V8s are fun for driving sideways in a paddock at a reasonable rate of knots is a bloody awesome thing, that kia is a great place to learn driving skills and experience, how a lot kids learnt, cheers from australia 🇦🇺
I love how JD is getting Daltons same work ethic and confidence " it will work" as beating with the sledge and scraping through the trees with "it's fine" great job JD
New definition for "mud tires" ... tires that not only get you THROUGH the mud, they provide mud for the INSIDE of the car so you can take it home with you. :)
Best video on your channel to date. Makes me nostalgic for my young years with my dad. I miss him. He bought and let me help him restore WWII and Korean War Jeeps and 3/4-ton Dodge Power Wagons.
Reminds me of when I was that age. I had a Pinto station wagon that I cut off the roof and made a Ranchero. I welded a pair of rims together so it had dual wheels on the back. I grew up on a farm and made an offroad racetrack way in the back. My friends would come over with their field cars and we would race them.
Dalton, you are one cool dad. And you got yourself a good kid. Does my heart good seeing a father teaching his son a trade that will serve him well in his life. My hat's off to ya.
Reminds me of a scrapyard i went to last summer, the employees and a couple of their sons were riding around in a dodge caravan that was chopped into a "ute" lol. They used it to drive around the yard and get parts
It was very interesting, I was expecting a giant man in a monster suit too appear in the distance destroying something. But I got to witness a KIA becoming actually useful, and of course being up to factory code and checking all safety marks.
Brother it’s awesome to see you and Dalton having fun together and seeing you be a cool dad. You can tell your raising him right. He’s growing up so fast it’s hard to believe how far he’s came since I started watching your channel. Thanks for the entertainment and keep it up buddy.
I'm very jealous of JD having a dad like Dalton that builds him absolute shitboxes like that. My dad just played golf, gambled at the clubhouse there, and drank a lot. He had no idea how to work on anything.
If they’re not turning sedans into convertibles, it’s Kias into off road rigs. Absolutely awesome guys. Loved it. Congrats to JD on his new pick-up Kia! 😁
I’m gonna go out on a limb here Dalton and say you were a fan of the “Red Green Show “ just like our other favourite youtuber JYD.. Good ol’ duct tape can fix damn near anything 😂😂😂😂
That was way too much fun to watch 😁 Pity that Kia was not good for the streets, it looks pretty darn reliable despite it being slowly stripped away....
they are pretty decently reliable you can find them anywhere for cheap tho if your interested id search for kia rios you'll find em running and driving 500 bucks or 750
Rios and Accents with the Alpha II motor are solid runners. Slow, but pretty dependable and easy to work on. They're simple so there's not much to go wrong with em.
Well, i nevee thought you could make a cool Kia till today. Just had to cut virtually everything off and make it a swamp crawler and boom cooler that ice. JD is having an awesome youth.
Too much fun. Reminds me of Guy Lights Olds Firenza that he turned into a pickup truck like that. He called it Labamba. It was Hella fun to drive much like that 😂
love that JD embraces the "make it fun" mentality just like his old man. looking forward to the day when yall make matching pos toyota camry pickups. they are the cockroaches of the car world
Love the fun that y'all are having with this kia. only thing i would of differently is fold the roof skin down and use it as the back wall of the truck cab.
Kids going to have days and days worth of stories to tell his grandkids, hahaha the coolest stuff he got to do. Good job Dalton, that looked like so much fun.
Pro tip on the glass. I use the plastic sticky stuff they sell at the hardware store for putting down on carpet during construction. Works dandy on large mirrors that are glued to the wall also.
This is the life! You should have known those tires were gonna fit 😂 he thinks like you, if it don't fit, yes it does! 😂 Seriously this is every kids dream!!
They sell lift spacers front and rear for these. My 2009 accent 2dr hatchback is based on the same platform, its lifted on 28" mud tires, wish i was closer we could definitely compete. I only rub on the lower control arm at full steering after alot of sledgehammer
I would rather see a kid busting ass through the woods with a project him and his Dad built than seeing a kid inside playing videogames all day ! Good job Dolton he will remember and tell his kids your a good Dad man 👍😇🙏
JD is living his best life mate and he's growing up fast soon he will be running his own channel and inspiring more young people to do stuff I've said it once and I'll say it again he is an absolute credit to you 🙌 👏 and just love watching everything you guys do
Hey guy! For real, if you put it on jack stands and put just pull the like four k-member bolts you can drill holes in some hockey pucks and put them on top of the k-member and just bolt it back together. Everything should be attached to the k-member so all you gotta do is have the car on stands, unbolt the k-member, lower it with a jack just enough so you don't snap brake lines or anything, slide the pucks in and zip it back together, to factory specs of course. That's almost exactly what the Subaru legacy outback is. Just a slightly dropped k-member front and back over the regular legacy. It's really easy. I did it on an old focus wagon I turned into a trar a few years ago. She's got a flatbed on her now, I'm pretty fancy. I also added some coil hat spacers for extra clearance because that was necessary.
My 12 year old watched with me and now wants a Kia stepside. Thanks, Dalton and JD!
Where you at I'm selling my 2009 accent 2dr hatchback already lifted in Washington state.
They're available just about anywhere if you have a USB cable, or so I've heard.
LOL😂
@mundanestuff these are before that was possible, the newer ones are the ones that got stolen easy. These lose timing belts(if not replaced on time) and are interference engines
It's a 100k budget build!😂
Crazy kid! Hitting that growth spurt! Glad he gets to do sketchy stuff with the old man. Mine just yelled at me lol.
Mine yelled at me too. He hated that I wasn’t into sports like he was and didn’t want to participate in my interests. Thanks dad.
all my dad did was give empty promises and still complains about everything. i never got to do this kind of fun stuff. i had to either play by myself or just explore the woods. its nice to see guys be cool/good dads
Same. You gonna do that stuff, you ain't living here. Forgiven and moved on..
‘’HOLD THE DAMN FLASH LIGHT WHERE IM POINTING’’ 🤣
Ah yes, home made KIA El Koreano
😂
😂😂😂😂😂 nice one.
whelp now we got a name
That mercury is the first car I’ve ever heard scream noooooooo😂😂
@ 🤣🤣
Every time I see JD's car, all I think now is how a jacked up Kia is an infinitely better yard toy than an Amazon yard Jeep. Love it.
That may serve no real purpose but memories made with dad are priceless. 👍
When your young fella discovers rear wheel drive V8s are fun for driving sideways in a paddock at a reasonable rate of knots is a bloody awesome thing, that kia is a great place to learn driving skills and experience, how a lot kids learnt, cheers from australia 🇦🇺
I like the father/son builds. Reminds me of times long gone
Everything you 2 are doing here are going to create core memories for your son when he is a grown man.
I love how JD is getting Daltons same work ethic and confidence " it will work" as beating with the sledge and scraping through the trees with "it's fine" great job JD
BEHOLD,
Father/Son body work …
Probably the best content ever created…
“ Dude, it’s gonna be fine”.
“Are you dumb ?”
New definition for "mud tires" ... tires that not only get you THROUGH the mud, they provide mud for the INSIDE of the car so you can take it home with you. :)
Dalton and JD showcasing good ol American fun between father & son. This is great. 👍
The confidence jd has grown driving is amazing to see. I remember when he was happy doing 10km/h lol
Best video on your channel to date. Makes me nostalgic for my young years with my dad. I miss him. He bought and let me help him restore WWII and Korean War Jeeps and 3/4-ton Dodge Power Wagons.
Dalton i just want to say that you sir are an awesome father!
Jd’s enthusiasm is awesome!
Son, "let's drag race" , Dad, "alright" nonchalantly . Great stuff. love it
That’s the best looking KIA I have seen in a long time! I’m pretty sure you upped the resale value!!! It serves a purpose now.
You guys always do amazing videos. The relationship you have with your son is amazing.
World's most fun Dad! And JD is learning so much and growing up so fast! He'll have his own show soon!
When I need triple bypass surgery, I want you, JD and watchjrgo’s dad taking care of it. Thanks for all the great content. Good stuff
You guys have way to much fun. Young man remember this when you are older. Building stupid fun stuff with your dad. Gold just pure gold.
Reminds me of a scrapyard i went to last summer, the employees and a couple of their sons were riding around in a dodge caravan that was chopped into a "ute" lol. They used it to drive around the yard and get parts
Outside the barn without Japanese voice over😂 another reason why I love Dalton lmfao
😅😅😅😅😅😅 that was fukd up
It was very interesting, I was expecting a giant man in a monster suit too appear in the distance destroying something. But I got to witness a KIA becoming actually useful, and of course being up to factory code and checking all safety marks.
@Warbob11 lmfao
so it wasn't just me I thought I'd gone mad LMFAO
@@robertgorman5622 it was weird but I didn't mind it🤣 shit happens lol
So Awesome that you are doing this with JD. Making great Memories
Brother it’s awesome to see you and Dalton having fun together and seeing you be a cool dad. You can tell your raising him right. He’s growing up so fast it’s hard to believe how far he’s came since I started watching your channel. Thanks for the entertainment and keep it up buddy.
With Thanksgiving coming up, it is very important the young man learn some good Butchery skills!!
It’s awesome to see a father and son enjoy working on a buggy for the kid to have fun with. I always had old VW bugs growing up.
Life is all about making memories. In my friend, you have made some core memories with this project. Make On
I'm very jealous of JD having a dad like Dalton that builds him absolute shitboxes like that.
My dad just played golf, gambled at the clubhouse there, and drank a lot.
He had no idea how to work on anything.
Car culture is about having fun...it sure looked like you two were having fun...WIN!!!!
This is my favorite video! I love seeing you and your son hanging out together!
You two are hilarious! Nicely done to both of you! Parenting done right!
I'll tell you Dalton some of the most creative things I've seen done with cars are friends that grew up in a junkyard.
Gentlemen... you have raised the bar for all modders. (If I may suggest, to keep you that step ahead - either a Yugo or a Lada Ute.)
Once again y'all go from my favorite to my even favoriter.
Great Father and son interaction!😀
Such Precision sawing Dalton. You didn't even snap a chalk line!
If they’re not turning sedans into convertibles, it’s Kias into off road rigs. Absolutely awesome guys. Loved it. Congrats to JD on his new pick-up Kia! 😁
Ngl this actually looks way better the original car it was. Loving JD's optimism in this vid, good vibes.
I enjoy JDs youthful confidence
You're killing it as a dad I wish I had this growing up
Man we need to see jd on your vids more often he is awesome thanks for the great content as always.
I loved it when my son was that age,I finally had someone to call my ideas crazy besides myself!
I have to wonder how you come up with this stuff it's genius pure genius.
Top notch Father & Son bonding 😄👍
I thought that this was ridiculous when I first saw it... now, I want one! And J.D. is a pretty lucky kid!
Finally! A Kia Spectranchero!
I love these Outside... vids, no pretense, just "Hey, let's do this thing because we can (maybe)" =)
God JD is starting to get tall and you can tell his is getting raised the right way.Well done Dalton
I’m gonna go out on a limb here Dalton and say you were a fan of the “Red Green Show “ just like our other favourite youtuber JYD.. Good ol’ duct tape can fix damn near anything 😂😂😂😂
Bravo JD! Great idea and execution. You guys rock!
Thanks for putting the safety specs on !
Awesome seeing ya'll having fun together
Great father son fun, nicely done Sir
I have to say I enjoy watching the little giant grow.
I was having a bad day watched it, and it cheered me up thanks
That was way too much fun to watch 😁 Pity that Kia was not good for the streets, it looks pretty darn reliable despite it being slowly stripped away....

JD is living his best life, with the help of you and Jess he's learning skills that will be helpful as he gets older.
Well, i nevee thought you could make a cool Kia till today. Just had to cut virtually everything off and make it a swamp crawler and boom cooler that ice.
JD is having an awesome youth.
30 seconds in and sawzall is cranked. I love it.
Awesome guys, thanks for sharing Dalton and JD! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This episode rivals the main channel in pure awesomeness, and I'm here for it! 😂
Too much fun. Reminds me of Guy Lights Olds Firenza that he turned into a pickup truck like that. He called it Labamba. It was Hella fun to drive much like that 😂
love that JD embraces the "make it fun" mentality just like his old man. looking forward to the day when yall make matching pos toyota camry pickups. they are the cockroaches of the car world
this brings me back to when i built a gambler 500 honda. thank you for bringing those back
Love the fun that y'all are having with this kia. only thing i would of differently is fold the roof skin down and use it as the back wall of the truck cab.
Gotta love these random OTB videos!!!
Absolutely love the new outside the barn cyber trunk
Awesome. Ine day y'all will look back on these times
Dalton’s the master at doing things to cars he really shouldn’t
The father son hammer tag team was fantastic.
Needed some PBG today. Always makes a crap day better
JD buddy this is what happens when you don't keep your car payments up with your dad 😂😂
Another top video guys well done 👏 ✔
Kids going to have days and days worth of stories to tell his grandkids, hahaha the coolest stuff he got to do. Good job Dalton, that looked like so much fun.
I've been wanting to do this to my Accent hatchback for years! Yall would be surprised how capable these lil things are! 🤙
Dalton you have raised a mini me JD is absolutely amazing
LOVE THE CUSTOM BOX SIDES 😄😄👍👍👍
I downloaded the video to watch later....not sure what language it was in...lol. I guess I'll have to watch it on my phone.
Reminds me of the 3rd world mad Max type of thing you see on discovery channel documentary on a roving desert clan. Fantastic.
Pro tip on the glass. I use the plastic sticky stuff they sell at the hardware store for putting down on carpet during construction. Works dandy on large mirrors that are glued to the wall also.
Except for the cutting, the English version is easier to understand still fun to watch!

A young car guy living his best life with help from dad. As it should be.
Very cool those deer jacker 2000 lights work good too
Nothing like a little off-roading by moonlight ...Thanks!
Love it.
JD is so Big. Omg.
So he will be taking over PBG, an Dalton you can retire.
