Awesome video you have inspired me to start my channel I have a 73 Gran Torino sport fastback like yours some what. It needs work it would be awesome if you would give my video a like😊
JD make sure your dad gets to bed before his bedtime, he has school tomorrow. JD , you don't lose the shop. The two of you are so lucky, enjoy the new year.
I agree. I think that's why a lot of adults are unhappy or angry they don't keep that spark of their inner child alive, and embrace the same things that once brought them so much simple joy. it's all about balance as they say "All work and no play makes Homer go Crazy!!"😂
that excavator only really works best with very loose sand. But then the dump truck cannot move on sand almost at all, especially if the bed is loaded with sand.
We used to call these sand toys they're pretty pricey but they do make some pretty nice equipment that's radio controlled and hydraulically operated Great to see a dad and son just having fun
I don't know who's having more fun with this Dalton or JD 😂 I'd have killed for this as a kid, I had the immortal Tonka though, so there was that at least 😎 You did a great job of the "bridge" , so much fun!
I love that you and JD have such a fun and great relationship like that, I didn't have that sort of thing growing up, but I'm making up for it now hanging with Dad as much as I can
When it comes to RC planes, we spent almost as much time fishing them out of trees as we did flying them. This was my buddies and me in our 30's. 😁 A tip is using a rod and reel with a lure weight on the line. We got pretty good at hitting the planes and getting them free. We would have "race tracks" of going around and through trees, through open car windows, and anything else that looked like fun. We spent hours a night out with those planes. You've got some fun ahead of you with those.
You know I hear Cleeter McSkeeter down at The Freedom Factory is a big fan of both RC & real aviation.. perhaps a road trip to Bradenton, Florida could be in order!! 😅🥃
Glad JD got a turn at playing with your toys, mate. Santa likes it when you share 😉 Never had RCs when I was your...er...his age. If they did, my Dad would have commandeered them until the batteries were flat and then told me to go buy more (no rechargeables back in 1982 / early '83 either!). I bought my girls a slot car set when the eldest was about 6. They had an absolute ball with it over the years - mainly in setting up tracks that were way different to the original config, then they'd get real good at the circuit they'd made then call me upstairs to "race one of them on it". I used to love just nailing the throttle and making the cars fly off at the corners and there would be laughs, but then my youngest would eventually get grotty and tell me to "take it seriously", so I would....for a lap or two until I got past her and then I'd floor it and go off the end again. Now 23 and 20, the slot car set sits on the top shelf gathering dust while they take on the twists and turns of life as young adults. Gotta get that down and lay it out and see if they want to play again, as I reckon it would be a great stress reliever....and scare the sh-- out of our two cats too!
I envy both of you. Dalton, I envy you for being such an old child, and having someone as cool as JD to play with, and JD I envy you for having such an awesome Dad to spend time with. Life goals.
Dalton and JD . Love Pole Barn Garage and this channel. Make me wish my dad would of been there and did things with me, but he had to dodge child support until me and my sister was grown. Ii know Dalton would never abandon JD. love you channels ❤️
there is a guy with a channel called tiny construction company or something similar. he made a quarry under his house. but he uses high quality RC models made of metal
Great fun. Jet might need just a bit of weight in the nose to make it more stable or slide the battery forward a tad if that's possible. Really enjoyed.
Of course playing with toys is fun! It relieves the stress of life, and clears the brain. And. if you get it right, you solve you real life problems in your fantasy world. Looks like you had a good time playing with the models, why not try it with real life toys! You buy crap motors, next time buy a scrap tractor or mini dozer? Happy new year from UK.
You have to take a shovel and kinda pre loosen the dirt so it's not so hard on the digger and you will have a lot more fun ..love to see the outside the barn content ..keep it coming ..
My brother and his sons were playing with the 18In GI - Joes well into their teen years. It was interesting to see encampments, bases and battle areas in their living room set up. Grow old, but never up.
I wonder what the performance difference would be if the equipment were more expensive, and higher quality, like the ones from RC4WD or one of the many 1/14 Dump trucks on Ebay, or maybe even buying one of the Tamiya kits and other parts to make a dump truck of your very own?
A big hello from Nova Scotia I have a collection of huina machines and they are actually quite capable in prepared materials Set up an indoor sandbox in the corner of the shop
This is just awesome !!!! If you ever get the chance check out some of traxxas rc model vehicles . or even take a road trip to the head quarters in texas !! its like a toy store for rc's
Good job you got JD there otherwise I'd wonder what you'd been smoking.... Having said that, was the A380 plane off Amazon? My make belief nephew would love one (yeah ok I would love one!)
dang u catfished me. showd the water pump truck said we going to talk about that one later. i watched the whole video and u didnt talk about it again lol. never to old for rc
It was watch this video of you and your son playing with toys or watching videos and the news of LA burning right through a place where I used to live.
Love the content as always do you have any links for the products you bought? My son would love those! He plays outside constantly has a whole construction crew arsenal of equipment outside😂 remote controled ones would be awsome!
At first I was thinking you bought the high end R/C stuff or was sponsored one somehow because I know that there's a huge R/C construction vehicle following and that individual high level R/C models can get up to $10,000. Not even kidding. Regardless, this was far more successful than Temu lawn mower engine tiny Jeep escapades!

@@outsidethebarn More than likely funner than laying on concrete, in transmission fluid.
@@outsidethebarn "Come with me, and you'll be in a world of Osha violations." lol
😂😂
This video just shows the importance of playing with toys with the kids
Yep.
Yep and it was nice of JD to take time out of his busy schedule to play with Dalton.
😅@@Papajin68
I love Outside the Barn content. Just a dad and his son having some fun.
When that plane kept going... I'm in tears lol!
Props to you Dalton ...more Dads need to spend quality time with their kids .. Building lifelong memories 👍
As an RC enthusiasts, I am not even mad....the best part is father son time and you guys had fun ....end of the day all that matters
0:31 "the Boeing 747"
*All Airplane enthusiasts keyboard warriors cracking their knuckles.*
Actually it was the identifying the F-35 as an F-18 that set me off lol
lol! i was under the impression the A380 was an Airbus product, not a Boeing one....(and i know almost NOTHING about planes)
JD make sure your dad gets to bed before his bedtime, he has school tomorrow. JD , you don't lose the shop. The two of you are so lucky, enjoy the new year.
Never grow up. Always have fun! Great job guys!
Looks like we had a merry Christmas in the pole barn!
Nice
It was fun watching you guys play together!😂 who doesn’t love radio controlled anything?
This was just awesome to watch. I couldn’t turn away. Love it. Thanks Dalton and Jd✌️🇺🇸
You need the like 8000$ 1/7th scale shit with actual hydralics lmao
I didn't even know that stuff existed until I saw a short of a guy with an articulated loader in his living room lifting his couch.
Growing up is dumb! 😂🤣😂👍
I agree. I think that's why a lot of adults are unhappy or angry they don't keep that spark of their inner child alive, and embrace the same things that once brought them so much simple joy. it's all about balance as they say "All work and no play makes Homer go Crazy!!"😂
just a dad doing dad stuff. love it!
hell of a good job boys

Dalton’s guide to aviation:
A380 = “B747”
F35 = “F18 looking thing”
The WPL semi truck. 👍👍 there are a lot of good mods for WPL RCs.
The death noises every time one falls over. I don’t wanna grow up. I’m a Toys “R” Us kid.
Optimism set to 11, love it! Looks like fun though
I am glad you guys go that job done and didnt lose the business.
that excavator only really works best with very loose sand. But then the dump truck cannot move on sand almost at all, especially if the bed is loaded with sand.
Heavy equipment operator is a good trade for JD to get into.
Great stuff!
We used to call these sand toys they're pretty pricey but they do make some pretty nice equipment that's radio controlled and hydraulically operated
Great to see a dad and son just having fun
Damn it you guys, now I gotta go look at Amazon RC airplanes..
Be careful. That's how all of this started 😂
Great video
I don't know who's having more fun with this Dalton or JD 😂
I'd have killed for this as a kid, I had the immortal Tonka though, so there was that at least 😎
You did a great job of the "bridge" , so much fun!
Now get with the Diesel Creek guy and see if he'll let you convert some of his equipment into full size remote control construction equipment.
I love that you and JD have such a fun and great relationship like that, I didn't have that sort of thing growing up, but I'm making up for it now hanging with Dad as much as I can
To quote Doctor Who: "What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish sometimes!" ;-)
Did J.T. have to tell you it was time to go in, you could play more tomorrow? lol this is great!!! You ROCK Dalton!!!!
You can't beat messing around with anything R.C, toys for boys.
Looks like a lot of fun!
Yo I never laughed so hard when the plane flew over the horizon ! Thanks for that man ! You and your crew have a good New Year !✌
Loving the second channel. Very wholesome content, keep it up!
I turn 50 this year and I still love playing with my RC cars! Lol! This episode kicked ass!
You guys have a blast together. Thank you for allowing us to be part of the fun.
13:14 and it's just PLANE fun? Nice one
As an equipment operator myself, I found this video amusing.
Too funny 😆🤣 ! Loved watching your video from your construction site ! Keep up the good work guys ! 👍
Awesome. Thanks for the video.
Got a good laugh from this one. Never too old for toys, man. I saw the hot wheels/matchbox collection in the back, nice.
Absolutely engaging! Fun to watch.
Getting ready to put a new battery in my old Tyco Mustang and I'm in my 50's RC' s Have been my Jam for a long time.

I'm 57 and one of my favorite toys growing up was called a Traxx. It was a tank-like vehicle that you could program to drive around.
Correction, it was called a Big Trak
Some of these were my son’s Christmas presents this year! The crane rigging looks familiar. The bulldozer would probably work well to pile leaves.
This was awesome! I love R/C cars, boats, and planes! My son and I spent many hours with them having fun as well!

I was thinking a sandbox full of perlite would be more efficient to move with that equipment!
The sound on the jet was cracking me up big time.
The ye ye, ye yeeeeeeeeee. Yee yee
My brother and his sons were playing with the 18In GI - Joes well into their teen years. It was interesting to see encampments, bases and battle areas in their living room set up. Grow old, but never up.
Here's hoping this video blows up for absolutely reason like when Linus Tech Tips reviewed an RC Firetruck.
you gotta get into the big scale stuff. thats where you get the real power to dig!!! lol.
Amazing guy, amazing dad funny content bro ✌🏻
That little plane as kinda cool. Was it cheap? Prob dumb question 😂
Yeah not bad. It was like $60 when I bought it, I think they're like $100 now for whatever reason
I wonder what the performance difference would be if the equipment were more expensive, and higher quality, like the ones from RC4WD or one of the many 1/14 Dump trucks on Ebay, or maybe even buying one of the Tamiya kits and other parts to make a dump truck of your very own?
The best part about being a Dad right there. You get to play with their toys with them because let's face it fellas we ARE just big kids ourselves.😁
A big hello from Nova Scotia
I have a collection of huina machines and they are actually quite capable in prepared materials
Set up an indoor sandbox in the corner of the shop
Remember in the 60s when Tonka made some big metal construction toys. You could actually destroy something.
Impressed by the planes! Maybe a little 'trimming' needed but not bad?
Well I think that they CONSTRUCTED you and JD a lot of fun.
This is wholesome. So when are you going to start fixing cars with them from the living room?
The kid in me is smiling 😁........🔥🔥🔥❤️👍🏽💯
JD is a pro 😮
Extreme 10 inch bridge !!!
Ooooo you guys need a sandbox
That would quickly become a litterbox I'm afraid

Love the content as always do you have any links for the products you bought? My son would love those! He plays outside constantly has a whole construction crew arsenal of equipment outside😂 remote controled ones would be awsome!
Where are your PPE gentlemen? I have a few RC’s myself. Cool video boys!
Hey Dalton have you seen the RC blazer with the snowblower?
