90s Japanese carse were the best. That's why I've had a lot of them. Mostly faster cars but smol Japanese 4x4s are cool to. Jimny would be my choice, but because they are really popular here in Slovenia.
I love the fact that this random guntuber also has so good taste in cars and motorcycles. I'd say because we are probably the same generation. Would probably follow his second channel.

      @@SymonSR20
Jimny sold a lot more, for longer, world-wide. The Pajero Mini has many model variants and changes from year to year. For that reason there is more aftermarket support for the Jimny.
Major difference off-road is that the Jimny is solid front axle. Pajero Mini is ifs.
The Japanese frequently make gaffs in naming with lost in translation. A Pajero is a sort of south American bobcat but yes, in slang it's a fronts-a-lot bullshitting wanker.

    • @zedex1226
      @zedex1226 6 месяцев назад

With the import age rolling forward the Pajero mini's are very "new" in the US since it started in 95.
One of the coolest kei cars that "just came out" in my opinion is the Honda Z (zed).
RUclips the commercial for it with ZZ Top.
The Honda engineers said "ok, here's the limits for kei class. Pack the most car you can into those size limits"
      It's a mid engine, AWD, 2door, 4 seat, hatchback.
Anyway the manual 4x4 turbo VR2 is def the best Pajero Mini.
imo even better than the bigger displacement non turbo Pajero jr due to curb weight and stu stu.
Re: wheel turn. It's two spins from center to lock both directions. (4 spins lock to lock)
Power steering makes it one or two fingers but again it's a tiny vehicle, PS failure is plenty able to drive home without trouble.
235/75/15 will rub without lift. Offset will have to be juuuuuust right to fit at all. Also they're pretty brutal on power train.
Most folks say 215 is the limit (lines are meant to be crossed)

    Ex: 185mm tall / 85 percent side wall/14inch wheel.

The mini is beautiful and I can't wait to see what upgrades are done to it and content like this would be awesome

Absolutely killer soundtrack to this video. Takes me back to the good ol days. I went with the Bronco2 instead of something like this or the Land Cruiser Prado

My old man had a 1st gen Pajero, he bought it 2nd hand. Had fond memories of going off road with it, surviving knocks that I guess would have crumpled any current cars.

Show more Pajero! Reminds me of the Geo Trackers I used to own (they were old back in the late 90's). 235-75-r15 fit under the fenders and didn't rub. Any larger then cutting/lifting required. Powered by a 1.3L normally aspirated engine. Great offroad (because they actually fit between the trees) except they were too light for snow and would bounce around and lose traction in a heartbeat.

We had a Suzuki Jimny in Malta with my wife before we got married. Also left-handed, since they drive on the correct side of the road there. It was the most fun car we ever had right after 3 door Focus 1 / 1.6l. Pajero mini seems to give me the same vibes.

Mate, I love Kei cars. Unironically. You are on the money when it comes to driving experience. You feel like you're flying, and everyone else just thinks you're going WEEEEEEE sitting in a shoppingcart. And that's cool in my book! Also, thank you for 17:43. There's some gif's in there for sure xD

Pretty sure I've watched this video 3 dozen times, just for the intro.
    Album when?

90’s Mitsubishi’s are awesome! Fellow Mitsu owner, I would definitely watch your car maintenance vids if you decide to go that route.

I love it. My wife and I had a '95 Rodeo and I loved that damn thing, would buy another one in a heartbeat. Mitsubishi had some bangers back in the day too. What was that "sporty" suv cross thing they made that nobody bought? Had short height windows and you could order it with different color cladding, always thought it was kinda neat.
