Good job on having a nice and simple breakdown on this concept!

My group and I played our first co-op game recently and we’re planning on doing it regularly going forward. Having a game with structured procedures helps as does a group that has solo roleplaying experience.

Yeah, I noticed when Mike and I were also getting better as the session went along… we better knew when to expect the other to step in, and how to riff off one another. My hunch is that co-op play would improve greatly with time in the same group.

@@booksbricksandboards783 for sure. There has to be a level of trust among the group and allow each to interpret oracle results or at least come to a consensus with a minimum of discussion.

Good luck with your sessions, would enjoy hearing more about how they go. Good gaming and God bless buddy!

I like the simple d6 emulator, this is the one shown in Black Sword Hack and I think it's both elegant and chaotic
Another emulator I recently discovered is the Scene/Plot/Game Unfolding Machine together with Prompty Questions: those are much more leading (especially GUM) than regular oracles so that's great to get the juice going
I also bought Play by the Writing by the same developer and I have been impressed by it, it started a love for journalling my solo RPGs that I didn't know I had

Yeah, the journaling aspect can be fun. I did one as an in world view from the POV of the hero. Thanks for watching!

@@booksbricksandboards783 my adventures are called Gogo's Bizarre Adventures because my first character Diego (first introduced in the session 0 with my newest player in my EZD6 campaign) had to die (even though the gods helped him find an heir before giving his last breath), but his nephew Hugo is now continuing the adventures
      It can really be!
Sounds fun, sorta like what I'm doing!
      You're welcome as always!

Cool video. If you are looking for group gmless games may I suggest Alice is missing, Fiasco and Rune. If you like mapping based games then Beak feather and bone, the quiet year or the deep forest might be you thing.
