I actually agree with them about being comfortable. When I met my partner 10 years ago I instantly felt at ease. We both felt like we had known each other our whole lives. Once I noticed he was also cute I felt a little nerves and the next day before we met up again I was so nervous I was shaking but the moment I saw him all the nervousness washed away because I remembered that he was a nice person and that we already got along really well and so again the conversation just flowed and we've been hanging out every day since for ten years so far. If youre so nervous your stomach feels rumbly thats your subconscious worrying that they arent going to like you and might reject you in a harsh way. You dont get that when you know youre compatible and they're a nice person. Now a sensation thats good that you might get when your with someone is a feeling of warmth in your chest, similar to the feeling of home you'd sometimes get as a kid but more intense. That is the real sensation you feel at times when youre in love. I say at times because some people think you constantly feel it and think they should break up if it stops. That's not the case. It'll be pretty constant at first but fade over time and come back at certain moments but you love them whether you feel that sensation or not. Love is action, above all else.

There's a difference between that and having layers upon layers of nerves. I dated someone who I knew wasn't very good for me once and I had the most nerves around them. I actually agree with them about being comfortable. When I met my partner 10 years ago I instantly felt at ease. We both felt like we had known each other our whole lives. The conversation flowed so easily. Once I noticed he was also cute I felt a little nerves and the next day before we met up again I was so nervous I was shaking but the moment I saw him all the nervousness washed away because I remembered that he was a nice person and that we already got along really well and so again the conversation just flowed and we've been hanging out every day since for ten years so far. If youre so nervous your stomach feels rumbly thats your subconscious worrying that they arent going to like you and might reject you in a harsh way. You dont get that when you know youre compatible and they're a nice person. Now a sensation thats good that you might get when your with someone is a feeling of warmth in your chest, similar to the feeling of home you'd sometimes get as a kid but more intense. That is the real sensation you feel at times when youre in love. I say at times because some people think you constantly feel it and think they should break up if it stops. That's not the case. It'll be pretty constant at first but fade over time and come back at certain moments but you love them whether you feel that sensation or not. Love is action, above all else.
Same! sometimes I'll still get nerves but underneath there is a layer of comfort and familiarity. It's rare but I love it when I feel that with someone. There's a difference between that and having layers upon layers of nerves. I dated someone who I knew wasn't very good for me once and I had the most nerves around them. Nerves because I liked them and nerves because I felt like they probably werent going to stick around, like you said. Everything you said makes sense to me.
