2001 7.3 powerstroke
So nostalgic! Been here since the beginning and am so appreciative of you sharing your journey creating a masterpiece of a 7.3! Great job editing and bringing back so many memories of your build. You should be proud of your accomplishments while balancing the ups and downs of this project with your personal/professional life. The transformation has taken form and by doing it step by step, rather than all at once, shows that you carefully thought out each mod. Thanks for your time and sharing Cody.
Dang bud, I can’t tell you enough how much that means to me! I know you’ve been here since the beginning and I appreciate you following my journey more than you could ever know!!
@@NoHalfAss no problem buddy! I’ve enjoyed every upload. I will continue to support your channel. You chose the trademark that really represents what you sacrifice. “NoHalfAss”. Thanks
Beautiful! I love my 2000 and 2001 7.3’s. You did this one right! I Was the biggest dodge fanboy but once I bought my first 7.3 and started building it, bought a second and I’ll never ever buy anything but Ford again. Love the vids man!
That’s awesome bro!!! And thank you!🤘🏻
I’m home for Christmas this week and I FINALLY bought a 7.3 after wanting one my whole life since I graduated the apprenticeship back when they were brand new. Thanks for your content. It’s a great inspiration and a great way to chill on vacation and start planning upgrades for my truck 👍
Cody bro, your channel keeps me going. It gives hope! Not only do you do so much of the work yourself, but we have the exact same truck even down to the color. It's like seeing what mine can become with a little (lot) of hard work and love. I really appreciate your channel bro, seriously your videos have helped so much already.
Thank you for the awesome words bro I’m really glad you enjoy the content!!!!🤘🏻🔥💯
@@NoHalfAss it's an honor brother! Thank you for the dedication to your channel.
Seriously your video on just the turbo system helped me so much when I needed to work on my pedestal.
Your channel has helped me and influenced me a lot, you've got the most badass Nohalfass 7.3 on the planet brother 🤘
Sorry for the late reply, but thank you so much bro! And I’m glad you enjoy my videos and glad that they help!🤘🏻
@@NoHalfAss Haha no worries bro! Most people never even comment back lol so just another reason why you're awesome 🤘
That's a sick truck man. I also have a lifted 7.3 super duty with a 2009 body and I want to do all the upgrades you just showed us like the turbo and the torsion bars.
I hope he posts a new video soon
Such an inspiration man! I love your whole build! I’m probably going with a 4” lift on my truck with 37’s but I wish I could buy another 7.3 and do one like yours!
Beautiful Truck!
Hey bro how come no video in a while! I’m new to your channel love the build man I have a 99 7.3🤘🏽🤘🏽
Think he’s taking a long break but his insta is active
Kody, i just spoke with mckneil racing in San Diego about you and your you tube channel about the possibility of sponsoring you
My truck is identical except it’s a short bed. I’d love to copy but, with my own twist. 👌🏼 Thanks for the links!
All the support from NorCal on your build bro.
I love fords 😍😍😍😍
Great video, thanks for all the links my guy
🤘🏻🔥💯
Do you have a part number for those headlights?
Just found your channel and have been watching your videos. Love the transformation. Hopefully more videos still to come!
Yo where you been. Everything good ?👍 you haven’t made contact
this truck came to mind during the crazy fuel prices everywhere. especially California
That thing is up there, looking good brother!
Thank you!
I frequently reference your videos to see how to do stuff on my 7.3
Glad I could help!
I bet making this video was a lot of fun for yourself! I know when i go back and look at old pictures/clips of my stuff, i love to see the work i put into it and really how far it has come and remember where it came from! The truck’s come a very long way my friend and it looks great! 🔥
It was pretty shocking bro I actually forgot about a lot of these upgrades!! Hahaha
Keep it going looks good 👍
Thanks man!!!
I really like ur truck bc even tho its a big lift its not over excessive like a sema build it nice and simple
Thank you bro
@@NoHalfAss i gotta ask how does that beast ride?
Where’s the videos at my guy? You still got it..? Been considering one of these or a 2011-16 ish year.. hard to find one not rusted out in southern Indiana
Still have it bro. It’s a great truck!
When are the new vids coming out?
Do you still have the truck?
Other social media names?
Are you doin ok?
Miss the content brotha hope your doin well ✌🏼
Was thinking the exact same thing.
Camping vlog with the new travel trailer coming soon!
We got to do a photo shoot together. I have a 2000 Ford Excursion. 12inch lift setting on the same rims and tires.
She looks savage bro, 1000× better than mine. I have hundreds of questions to ask about your rig but I'll keep it minimum. How are you liking the gearing change, turbo setup, and track bars? Also what do you think she is pushing hp and torque? I have a 2000 7.3 that I'm finishing a bottom to top engine rebuild on with damn near all performance parts, injectors, pistons, cam, whole valve train assembly, head studs, kc stage3 turbskie, intercooler and piping, fuel bowl delete with reg return, gass titanium fule system, 4 inch straight pipe turbo back, intake and plenums, colt cam and few others. My trucks sitting alot lower than yours running a 4 inch lift with 33 tires, fresh front end build from hubs to gear box and everything in between. She has the stock look but hopefully she sleeps the unknowing. How has your rig been holding up? Any downfalls to the upgrades you chose or done differently?
Hey man, I don’t remember seeing you do this upgrade so forgive me if you’ve already done this it. But my 7.3 has been not wanting to start in colder weather at all. And I’m talking California cold, like 45 degrees lol. Batteries and cables are new. Alternator is good. GPR not so much.
So I’m upgrading my glow plug relay with a White Rodgers 586-902. Thing is beefy as hell and all the powerstroke guys rave about it. Apparently even the motorcraft GPR’s are crapping out within a year.
Sorry for the late reply bud. I’ve been off RUclips and didn’t see your comment. Hopefully you got your answers and your truck starting up good in the cold weather again! I was going to do the exact upgrade to my truck with the white Rodgers relay but my truck has a glow plus module instead of the relay (supposed to be a California thing?) so I’m not sure if you’re does as well since you also live In Ca. There would be two big relays next to each other if you have the GPR. Mine only has the one relay. I forgot what it’s for but it’s not the glow plugs.
Cold weather no start you’re looking at injectors.
@@IndiansAuto It was glow plug relay and battery cable.
Damn I mean personally I wouldn't have mine that high cause my dumbass would run something over lol. On another note bro not only do you have some of the best 7.3 content out on RUclips your truck is fucking clean bro. I have only had mine maybe 6 months and if I can get her as half as clean as yours ill be a happy man.
Hahaha yeah you definitely gotta get used to it and keep your eye out for things 😂 and thank you bro I appreciate that!!
So 44x19.50R26 Boogers coming next
Really wish you could get the collab vid with DMaxRyno that you spoke of a while ago. He does like his older fords trucks, 7.3's, obs's...
With all your time and effort, i feel your channel is still under the radar and very under appericiated somehow.
Me too bud! And thank you I really appreciate that!🙌🏻
You edited this video pretty good bro 👍🏻 you’ve come a long way with this truck and it’s looking nice 👍🏻
Thank you David!🤘🏻
I have a 2003 diesel 7.3 crew cab short bed black / gold paint job. I still havel the factory radio what do you have in yours I noticed an LCD screen on your dashboard
Hope all is well.
I have a 2000 f350 4x4 long bed
That truck that I have 22x12 rims and the tires are 37
Where did you get the front bumper?
Waiting for new videos
Where you been bro???
Haven’t been uploading videos. But I’ll be uploading a camping vlog with my new travel trailer soon!
I’m considering a 1999 Ford F-350 7.3 powerstroke regular Cab Long bed with just 140k miles. Are 7 3s as great of a motor as they say?? This would be my first diesel truck
Just bought a 2003 7.3 f250 crew cab regular bed Diesel. Only 133k miles and oversized tires. Just hauled a camper 3 states away. No problems at all. It's great 👍You won't regret it. A definite head turner. With regular maintenance a 7.3 diesel will easily go 400k, 500k miles and beyond. Many of them have lasted over a million miles.
They are great trucks mine has 267k still runs great
Definitely buy it. I bought my 97 F-350 cclb in 2000 from the original owner with only 20k on the odometer. As of now it has 509k. It went from a 4 inch lift to a 8, to 14 with 4 inch reverse shackles rolling on 46s. You won't regret it.
I love mine bro, it never gives me issues. Just keep in mind they aren’t cheap vehicles to drive often. Tires are expensive, insurance/registration, fuel, maintenance, etc. other than that, if you can afford the cost for up-keep and stuff, they’re amazing trucks!!!!
@@NoHalfAss I just picked one up not too long ago. It's a 99 126k. It's 100% stock nothing has ever been done to it. Belonged to older man he bought new and recently passed. I want to Straight pipe but worried with you know SO CAL bs. Any suggestions no half ass?
🔥🔥🔥
Is this man done with RUclips? 😭
Uploading less frequently, but I’ll be uploading a camping vlog video with my new travel trailer soon!
During your bumper build, what was your lift/tire/rim setup?
6” lift and 37” tires
It's being a while Kody.... What up? We need some updates on your life?
Camping vlog with my new travel trailer coming soon!
Where did you get your springs? I have a stock 01 f250 with a 7.3....looking to jack it up
Atlas suspension in La Puente CA makes leaf springs and they made my leafs custom for the lift I wanted
Did u install a trac bar yet!
Yes! ruclips.net/video/RzorfU146Yg/видео.html
Have you towed with it? Have a 04 6.0 im at 8in lift right now and curious if i could still tow at 14
I have a 22ft travel trailer. Tows it no problem
@@NoHalfAss awesome, i plan on getting a 28 ft enclosed to haul my single cab 6.0 race truck in 🤩
I can’t find that lift anywhere is it a 10” or 12”?
It’s a 14” lift made by Atlas Spring/Atlas Suspension. They made the leaf springs and everything, so it’s basically a custom lift by them. You won’t find it online or in a kit or anything
Thanks for the quick response, keep up the RUclips grind love the vid. Where can I contact them I have an 8” lift but want to go higher.
Also do you have a Bluetooth front drive shaft after going that high or is there something you can throw on to adapt it 😂
@@charliehannan2304 their Instagram is @AtlasSuspension. And no Bluetooth driveshaft. Mine still works good. They extended the driveshafts
what size lift is on their
14 inch
ok and did u do anything else to it with lift
Too damn high. Y’all don’t do this. 4.5” lift max on some 35”!!
Sounds boring
I am looking to replace the back bumper on my ‘03 7.3. I looked through the links but did not find one for the bumper. Do you know where to get one like that
Honestly I don’t have a link to one but I got mine on eBay!🤘🏻
You vs the guy she tells you not to worry about.
🤣🤣🤣
I’m curious what tuner do you have on that bad boy
Superchips 🤘🏻
Beautiful truck. What’s left to do?
Thanks bud! It’s never ending 🤣🤣🤣 I still want to update the tailgate, need to redo my stereo system, the entire interior, and would really like to convert to a dually one day, plus a ton more! The project never truly ends. Hahaha
@@NoHalfAss that’ll be so badass! Love the vids
@@NoHalfAss I agree with redoing the interior. it's where we spend most of our time, but it's mostly often overlooked in a build.
May I have your email please, I would like to provide you some auto products for review.
Content dropped off coming out with anything new for channel
Hi, May I have your email? We would like to invite you to join us to review some auto products.
Video should be titled "how to ruin a perfectly good work truck" but hey the new engine parts are nice though
Hahaha my company supplies my work truck 👌🏻
Its his truck he can build it how he wants a$$hole if anything hes restoring it and not using it as a beater work truck
@@ryanmendoza396 damn right its his truck and he can do as he pleases, but people gots opinions and i felt like sharing mine(which is unimportant tho and doesnt matter lol), i just like my trucks stock and the way that ford looked was pretty damn nice too , wasnt trying to be an asshole, maybe a bit of a smartass though and i apologize, it is a very nice truck either way and Nohalfass did a really good job on it.
@@NoHalfAss hahaa luckyy there man, sorry bout my comment,i wasnt tryin to be an asshole or anything, just a bit of a smartass, its a really good build though and i bet its fun as hell to drive and go offroadin in
@@chazmartin8048 haha all good bro! Thanks!! 🤘🏻💯
Let’s do a live video together for our RUclips channel
That would be cool bro! I’ve been out of town for work lately but should be coming back home soon so hopefully I can make the time for something like that now! Where are you located?
@@NoHalfAss I’m from NC! And that’s cool I really appreciate it just let me know whenever you’re free
Awesome!
