- Here's me doing a guitar tutorial for The Velvet Underground's "Pale Blue Eyes". It's best played with a capo on the 3rd fret so your root chord can be shaped like a 'D' while playing in the key of 'F'.
You cracked me up with the script and the wine! Thanks for the awesome tutorial!
Thanks for watching. Keep jamming the classics!
Thank you! Helped me alot. I started in this quarantine learn how to play an acoustic guitar and thanks to you, now i can play 4 songs! Cheers from Brazil
Glad to hear it. Sounds like you're on your way
That trick with lifting the finger on the D chord to Dsus2 is absolute genius!
woah a kitty at the the background
Good eye, I didn't even notice him 'til I played it back.
Neil Stephens thanks for the lesson btw ;)
You got it
Awesome Neil! You’re the best!
Thanks, man. I appreciate that.
Aw the cat makes it so much cuter! Thanks for making the video, I was nervous about learning this but you made it easy:)
Chapeau for the intro 🍷 I am a beginner & slow learner but I get the strum really well on my guitar and it makes me feel rock n roll haha :)
I loved this comment. cheers to you!
It was much easier than I thought. Thank you Neil!
You're welcome. Have fun with it
*_I love this, easy, and Beatiful, thank you so much!!!_*
Thank you for your lovely informative lesson and greetings from an old dude in England
I appreciate the comment
It is in the key of F. Basically your playing F Bb C with the Dm which is the 6th or relative minor. Your playing D G A with Bm with the capo. Love the cat and the opening and close with the wine drinking.
That is true I'm pretty sure Lou Reed doesn't use a capo but I chose to play it here because it's easier and sounds decent when playing acoustic by yourself
Actually what I heard Lou did for this song is tune down one whole step and play a G (sounding like an F). Which is also easier except I'd rather slap a capo on instead of retuning all six strings.
Paul McCartney did the same for Yesterday. Tuning down and playing G chords.
Thanks for this lesson, from france ! :D
