Hey Jill , we made GF Savory Pies for evening dinner .It was delicious. We had it for two evening dinners. Another great variety choice. Harriet and I love the idea of GF Carob Brownie. We love our brownies. Carob vs. Cocoa Chocolate ? We are going to let our niece and nephews be the judge when we see them at our house on Friday. What do you think of the idea of adding walnuts to the recipe ? As always, we love you dearly for what you do for us. ❤❤❤ Sending you Best Wishes from Richmond, Va Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Hello Jim and Harriet!! I'm so glad you liked the savory hand pies! They are so great fresh, and as leftovers!! I am excited for you to make and share the brownies!! Walnuts would be delicious in either version!!! I can't wait to hear what you and your family think of them!! I am so happy to bring you so many recipes!! You are so very welcome!! Sending all three of you so much love, and best wishes from Utah!! And thank you so very much for always watching and commenting!!
Hello David!!! Thank you!! It really is great, and I am excited to make more recipes using it. And I agree, so helpful for people that can't have chocolate!! Thank you so much, and thank you for watching and commenting!! Cheers to you!!
I think you are in a good path looking for more healthy ingredients or just curious about it in either case experiment is the only thing to do. Thank you for sharing. All my love❤
Hello friend!! I agree, either case is a great end result!! Delicious, fun, and experimenting!! You are so welcome, and thank you so much for watching and commenting!! All my love to you!!
Do you mean my apple pie recipe? If that is the one you made, I'm so glad you liked it!!! Thank you for letting me know what you think, and for watching and commenting!!
I have been using karob for 7-8 years. I really like how it behaves in cakes or puddings, even with plain milk. I have not seen in my country karob powder so light in color, here it is almost as dark as cocoa powder. Odd!
Oh that is interesting!!! I wonder why there is a color difference? Maybe a different variety? It really is delicious! I am excited to make more recipes using it! Is your variety roasted? I have been wondering about raw vs. roasted. And thank you for watching and commenting!!!
KAROB not carrot. It is a powder that successfully replaces cocoa powder. The powder obtained from the fruit of a tree, has a color and taste similar to cocoa. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber and calcium, being an exceptional antioxidant. It has a very low glycemic index. It does not contain caffeine, theobromine (an organic substance with an exciting effect of the nervous system), gluten, lactose or cholesterol. It can be successfully used as a cocoa substitute, added to milk
@@jillygsglutenfree4063 Thanks for clearing that up for me. As I am not a native english speaker I incorrectly assumed I misheard or it was a local dialect. Apologies !
@@thordallimdecaladai922 I am happy to answer any questions you may have! It can be confusing sometimes, especially when ingredients here in the US are named something different then other places😄

Hi Jill, they both look tasty. Carob sounds like it would be a great alternative to chocolate, for those who can't eat it. Great job! Cheers!

Hi, would you say the carrot brownie tastes more like a brownie or more like a carrot cake.. ? Thanks for the alternative brownie recipe btw.

Save me a center piece please I don’t like the edge🤤🤤🤤
Haha! That's why a pan of brownies is perfect for us, you get the middles, and I get the edges!! And thank you for watching and commenting mama!!
Looks more like a cake than a brownie.
Please don't talk so much.
