the way i do fences or wires with holes in between, i just paint a texture and apply it to a plane, and apply some alpha channels for transperency, that way i can save on polys

the handle of the racket is not actually a quadrangular prism, it's actually more like a octagonal prism :)

What's the difference between keyshot and maya's renderers mental ray , v ray , Arnold and so on ?
To answer that would take me three hours. But let's just say that they are different in many ways

Main difference is that 2017 Has Arnold as the preferred renderer

Texturing in Keyshot is very, very fast

That would be done with a texture map, not with modeling

I would if this were a model, UV, Texture video. This was just a modeling tutorial where I decided to "slap" on a texture in Keyshot
