when I was in high school one of the dudes I used to hang out with said talladega nights was his favorite movie because apparently he was really depressed and it was the only thing that made him happy
Love the list! Enjoyed the whole video. Common thread appears to be the dumbing down of society. Low brow humor and mailed in performances. Great list!!
LOL! 18:34 I have to agree with you on Al Pacino being a part of Jack & Jill. Sadler must have paid him like a King to be in that film as himself, but it is so insulting to his fans.
Yes, absolutely! J Depp was doing a michael impression in charlie in the chocolate factory. That was the first thing that came to mind when i saw his portrayal.
I mostly agree with your picks and reasons for them, but may I suggest two movies with Johnny Depp? The Libertine, and the yet to be released Jeanne du Barry; the latter I am looking forward to watching.
Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Hart, Jack Black. If I see those names in a trailer or on a poster I probably won't be watching it. Do you have any directors that would turn you away from a movie?
Steven Segal should be much higher up on your list Guy! Keanu Reeves may have a limited range, but when he was John Wick and Neo I can not think of anyone better to play those parts. Segal should have never been a Big Screen actor, he sneaked into the action-film line-up during the late 1980's when Arnold, Sylvester, and JCVD films were the big box office hits.
Al Pacino was good in Scent of a Woman....loved his speech in the school!! Early Tom Cruise are better than him now...ones like Rain Man and A few Good Men. Julia Roberts was good in Steel Magnolias and August Osage County........I do agree with the rest of your list though....especially Megan Fox and Cameron Diaz, but I’d like to add Jennifer Anniston. I can only take so many closeups in movies and she gets twice as many as I can take.!!
I agree with your list but i would have also added Jack Black because i only liked him in school of rock and Kung Fu Panda, and Matthew McConaghey for the same reason you dislike Owen Wilson
For what little it's worth, Scream Queens did give us an easily meme-able instance of an entitled twit in a Starbucks line courtesy of Emma Roberts, so if you watch up to that point (which I did before drifting away immediately because there was nothing else there) you'll recoup a small amount of value...
I don't think Owen Wilson at number 1 was a big shock but he's done some good movies with Wes Anderson like "The Royal Tenenbaums". John C Reilly is an amazing dramatic actor that's casted way too much for comedic parts these days. Thank Will Farrell for that. As for Gwenyth Paltrow, I think she's much better in smaller arthouse films. She can come off as privileged and pretentious but she did win an Oscar for best actress, back in 1999. She was great in "Hard Eight (Sydney)" with John C Reilly back in 1996.
The irritated feeling you feel with Owen Wilson is literally me watching the James Bond movies before 2002 and then watching any of them since, seeing Daniel "I will not make another Bond, oh you'll pay me millions for zero emotion? I'm in" Craig in the newest ones = me feeling sick to my stomach of how far the franchise fell
Tortured Entertainment Guy, I just saw this video. My girlfriend would agree with your top 2 whole heartedly! I personally would have had Tom Cruise Mapother at 2, and Adam Sandler at 1. I would never watch a movie with those dudes in it, ever.
It's so easy to tell there's something wrong with Tom Cruise. Right on the money, you were there. (Although, watching him is fascinating. I'm a fan. Though you could call my appreciation of him ironic.)
Shakespeare In Love is a great movie and Paltrow is a big reason for that, a fact the Academy recognized. Also, you must have hated Magnolia. It had Cruise and Reilly, and both turned in fantastic performances. Cruise also was great in Interview With A Vampire and Eyes Wide Shut while I loved Reilly in Gangs of New York. I don't think I've ever disagreed more with one of your lists. Shame.
I know this will be a very unpopular opinion, but ANY movie involving ANY wrestler will be unwatchable. Hogan, Cena, Rock, Piper, etc...all of them TRASH!!!
The Entertainment Guy huh, I mean my taste for comedy movies isn't exactly above bottom of the barrel I guess because I liked get hard too.. What kind of comedies do you like?
actors or actress i can't stand: I refuse to watch any movies if they are in it 1: Steve Martin 2: Leslie Nielsen 3: Tom Cruise 4: Nicholas Cage 5: Megan Fox 6: keanu Reeves 7: Johnny Depp 8: Adam Sandler 9: Cameron DIaz 10: Owen Wilson 11: any Baldwin ( minus Alec ) 12: David Spade ( never thought he was funny ) 13: Brad Pitt ( minus Snatch, Fight club and Inglorious Basterds ) 14: Christian Bale 15 Russell Crowe 16 Jim Carey 17: Will Smith 18 Bruce Willis ( last movie i really enjoyed from him is Unbreakable, one of my all time favorite movie, since, he fucking sucks! ) 19: The Rock 20 Vin Diesel.
The problem is you’re basing a lot of it off of more recent films, which everyone knows Hollywood has only managed to do one thing consistently and that is create horrible movies. For the most part, your list is good because most of them have NEVER made a good film. The other’s, where you’re wrong is watching recent movies: Owen Wilson: Wedding Crashers and You, Me & Dupree will probably be his best works, so no need to watch anything else before or after those. Cameron Diaz: Her best work was Very Bad Things & There’s Something About Mary, those won’t be topped - especially in today’s world. Adam Sandler: Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, Mr. Deed’s, Blended are his best work, anything else isn’t worth watching. Billy Madison was alright. David Spade: Tommy Boy and Black Sheep were his best. Joe Dirt is his most recent movie that is watchable but not great. He was better on TV shows after Black Sheep & Tommy Boy. 8 Simple Rules (for example). Saturday Night Live has always sucked. Lindsay Lohan: Her only good movie was The Parent Trap. The rest of your list NEVER made a good movie between all of them, Will Smith should’ve been on the list as well as he’s never made anything good either.
How do you not like step brothers or taledega nights. Two of the funniest movies wver
I didn't know people existed that don't like talladega nights, let alone those that refuse to watch it... Crazy man I think it's a comedic classic
when I was in high school one of the dudes I used to hang out with said talladega nights was his favorite movie because apparently he was really depressed and it was the only thing that made him happy
i'm hoping you make an updated version to expand upon or change the list i'd be very interested in seeing if your opinion is the same 5 years later
Are the power rankings coming out tonight?
Love the list! Enjoyed the whole video. Common thread appears to be the dumbing down of society. Low brow humor and mailed in performances. Great list!!
Considering my taste in movies compared to yours I unsurprising hate this list haha.
Who does Elizabeth Banks play in Ant-Man?
dpreetam no one. She is not in that movie
What's your opinion of Michael Shannon, Susan Sarandon, Jessica Alba, and Russell Crowe?
I really like David Spade in 8 Simple Rules
As a Movie Related List Guy, you're a great The Hockey Guy, and you're all alone on that list.
He is bot totally wrong he showing the great American decline in movies why movies suck today
You need to see Executive Decision just to see Steven Segal get sucked out of the airplane in the first half of the movie. I let out a little cheer.
LOL! 18:34 I have to agree with you on Al Pacino being a part of Jack & Jill. Sadler must have paid him like a King to be in that film as himself, but it is so insulting to his fans.
Please do an update video 👍🏽👍🏽
Cam Neely In dumb and dumbr 😂
Steven Siegals big movie was Under Siege, come out in 92
Yes, absolutely!
Robert Deniro. From great films like Goodfellas and Casino, to now Dirty Grandpa. Sad.
Hey Shannon. If you've wanted to watch Ant-Man and didn't just because Elizabeth Banks was in it, I got good news for ya. She isn't in Ant-Man.
I thought I saw her in the trailer. This has to be PTSD.
Rules of Engagement was awesome. Patrick war??? Is seriously underrated in my book. That dry humor is brilliant
Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Hart, Jack Black. If I see those names in a trailer or on a poster I probably won't be watching it. Do you have any directors that would turn you away from a movie?
Depp was channeling Marilyn Monroe in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. (Fyi)
The Entertainment guy hasn't seen Twelve with Emma Roberts, 50 cent, and Macauly Caulkins brother. That's a good movie.
Johnny deep's greatest movie is...... Ringo
It's Rango.
Vince Vaughn. Just in case this conversation is still happening in the back of anyone's mind.
walk hard was hilarious lol
Al Pacino was good in Scent of a Woman....loved his speech in the school!! Early Tom Cruise are better than him now...ones like Rain Man and A few Good Men. Julia Roberts was good in Steel Magnolias and August Osage County........I do agree with the rest of your list though....especially Megan Fox and Cameron Diaz, but I’d like to add Jennifer Anniston. I can only take so many closeups in movies and she gets twice as many as I can take.!!
8:11 The Usual Suspects has Stephen Baldwin
Man I forgot about Rules Of Engagement. Great show
I agree with your list but i would have also added Jack Black because i only liked him in school of rock and Kung Fu Panda, and Matthew McConaghey for the same reason you dislike Owen Wilson
For what little it's worth, Scream Queens did give us an easily meme-able instance of an entitled twit in a Starbucks line courtesy of Emma Roberts, so if you watch up to that point (which I did before drifting away immediately because there was nothing else there) you'll recoup a small amount of value...
Segal is too low on this list. He belongs at the top
How dare you! Steven Seagull is a god 😂😂😂
I don't agree with most of those sadly
Bottle Rocket is a good movie with Owen Wilson in it. It's not over the top goofy like most of his stuff.
I don't think Owen Wilson at number 1 was a big shock but he's done some good movies with Wes Anderson like "The Royal Tenenbaums".
John C Reilly is an amazing dramatic actor that's casted way too much for comedic parts these days. Thank Will Farrell for that.

6:50 Under Siege.
I’m sorry but Talladega Nights and Step Brothers are the funniest movies you’ll see!!!!
Tanner Roberts EXACTLY WHAT I SAID
Talladega Nights is overrated
Both are overrated. Only decent will movie is anchorman
A lot of these actors have “reputations”, and women like Paltrow and Megan Fox were popular due to looks, physical attributes only…
Punch Drunk Love was brilliant if you want to see Sandler be very very good
Believe it or not, Shanghai Noon is a great movie... as is Will Farrell in Downhill, tho that's a recent one
You gotta see john wick
Tortured Entertainment Guy, I just saw this video. My girlfriend would agree with your top 2 whole heartedly! I personally would have had Tom Cruise Mapother at 2, and Adam Sandler at 1. I would never watch a movie with those dudes in it, ever.
It's so easy to tell there's something wrong with Tom Cruise. Right on the money, you were there. (Although, watching him is fascinating. I'm a fan. Though you could call my appreciation of him ironic.)
I don't like Tom Cruise either and I haven't seen most of his movies but I did like days of thunder
Wedding Crashers was litt
What about Adam sandal.
Owen Wilson? WOW!
Shame.
Jack reacher was amazing
Hilarious and i surely cannot defend that awful group.
Nah there’s so many great Tom cruise movies. Mission impossible 1, few good men, and Top Gun 2 Maverick are great movies
The firm
Wheres kevin hart?
I don't have a positive or negative opinion of him. If he's with anyone on this list, I won't be happy. His movie with The Rock was passable.
Gwyneth Paltrow..Yup with this trial thing probably not helping but mostly the Goop BS ...cringe
I know this will be a very unpopular opinion, but ANY movie involving ANY wrestler will be unwatchable. Hogan, Cena, Rock, Piper, etc...all of them TRASH!!!
Thanks for triggering me, I greatly appreciate it.
Please try Blades of Glory with will Farrell, he's not a bumbling idiot, it's great, and like 1/3 of it takes place in Montreal
I lasted 15 minutes into that one. My ex loved it.
The Entertainment Guy huh, I mean my taste for comedy movies isn't exactly above bottom of the barrel I guess because I liked get hard too.. What kind of comedies do you like?
I don't like John Hoit or his daughter. Any movie either are in I don't watch.
Voight. Sorry
actors or actress i can't stand: I refuse to watch any movies if they are in it
1: Steve Martin
2: Leslie Nielsen
3: Tom Cruise

I hate sandler too.
Kevin James🤮
guess you haven't seen either john wick movie?? terrible list
I tried watching John Wick. I got bored quickly. He is not an engaging action star.

Vince Vaun, Jane Fonda,

Will Smith
