That looks like the wooden model of the Wamira A10 (7:48). The model was built in Aero Tools, B hangar, Bankstown by H. de H.. I was the expeditor looking after the nose and main undercarriage in the Precision Machine Shop. Before that I was in C Hangar, engine division where we worked with Gazelle and Gnome engines Sea King and Wessex helicopters , the R1820 out of the Trackers, R2000 out of the Caribou, Noelle Starter from the Mirage and TF30 engine components for the F111. A great place to work, my favourite job was the Wamira, a trainer that never flew lol.
It's wonderful to see these aircraft once more, please keep up the good work.

While flying rare aircraft are great to see, they unfortunately sometimes crash. Several years ago, after many years of restoration, unique one-of-four-made Northrop M-9 flying wing piloted scale replica of the XB-35 bomber concept, crashed in a practice flight killing the pilot and writing off the aircraft. A double tragedy.
Static is the way to go as everyone can see it in person.

I love how these guys are all so knowledgeable and passionate about their projects. It's so lovely to see their beauty shine whether air worthy or not 💖👌👏👏. I need to know the name and story behind the voice of the interviewer/narrator 😃, pleeaasse.

Thanks for your enthusiasm Leanda! But don't you think it's more interesting if the name and backstory of the narrator remains shrouded in mystery? (At least until I can think of a compelling story).

Just a point on 2Sqn Canberras in Vietnam. They were based at Phan Rang, not Cam Ranh Bay. The two places are not far from each other, with Cam Ranh Bay on the coast and Phan Rang around 20km further inland. Great job you are doing there. Hope to visit one day
