It is their environment, their home. I am Choctaw and I was raised to respect all life. Only take what you absolutely need from Earth and remember certain environments are not even meant for us I.E. The oceans, the sky. Now Land we are meant to live on we’re are terrestrial h beings but remember we are sharing it with animals who have just as much rights to live as we do. In fact I believe we are the planet’s shepherd’s like you are to your land Chris & Gabby. You two do a wonderful job. The rattlesnake was gorgeous and just being a rattlesnake. Ty for recognizing that and caring for him as well as your pigs and goats.
I love that assessment of people who kill wildlife needing to be in the city. There are so many people here out West who want wolves gone and they act like people from the city don't understand wolves or we wouldn't be for protecting them.
Thank you for moving the snake. He doesn’t have GPS to know he’s on private property. My biggest toxic trait is how I want to literally feed every creature I see😩
Oh wow, that is a big snake. Stunning. I love rattlers, they're so polite, they warn you! Very cool. I love how it kinda chills way tf out after you put it down outside of the pen.
I appreciate how you use these types of moments as a teaching tool. We moved out of the city and now have 6 acres. When you move and build on new property you get what comes with it! You moved into their territory and should respect that. We have snakes, coyotes, deer, armadillos, squirrels etc. I love all of them even though the coyotes do scare me!
If they’re so concerned about their kids and family being hurt then teach them when they go outside to avoid heavily covered bush and to back away if you hear a rattle, if they can’t understand that then they’re too young to be out playing by themselves, thank you for always educating and saving the snake from your pigs 😂
I feel the same frustration when people complain about gators who then get removed, relocated to a sanctuary or killed. If you're so afraid of gators, move to a different state.
That is a beautiful Rattlesnake that is just doing his job! I am impressed with your Hook Skills! When I lived where we had Canebrakes, I kept an empty trash can upside down and ready when my dog would locate one and give me the alarm. Out I would go with my stick and can, and take them to the back of the 7 aceres near Ravenel, SC.
"There's lots of pig poop" - and somewhere on the property that lone dung beetle is like "Gimme a break, I'm doing the best I can!"💩😂 The rattlesnake was probably so freaked out, im glad you were able to save it!💚
Understand, I'm scared to death of snakes, but it's a life that was there before I was. We share a home...all over the earth. Thank you, keep sending the message.
This is the first video of yours to show up on my feed. Your knowledge and compassion for the local wildlife has gotten you another subscriber! Thank you!
omg that snake is huge and angry, it is amazing that he is co-existing on your property. It was lovely to see and understand what is happening on your property with this rattlesnake who can just hang out and not hurt your animals. I had no idea that the snake will learn from their negative experiences. Dung beetles in Florida? Praying for those recuse piggies to find their forever homes. Thanks for all you do!
What an absolutely beautiful Eastern... such lovely markings, and wow she looks so healthy! Love that you guys appreciate your native critter neighbors - but I'm not exactly surprised
As a person from the country, that has only one venomous snake (rare to find and not deadly) , I can only admire how graceful you deal with dangerous animals. The snake is pretty and look very stressed poor thing. Good to know you don't kill her and also hope it will not kill anyone on the property in the future.
Wow! Defensive and spicy. Was wondering how long it was gonna be till y’all saw an Eastern on your property. So cool. Thank you for protecting the snake and the pigs and goats. Y’all are awesome!
👏👏👏👏👏👏😢👏👏👏. Thank you for protecting all wildlife! You are the good guys. I live on Coastal Ga. Lots of snakes. They startle you, but are not aggressive. My favorite is the Cotton Mouth. I would never hurt a wild animals!!
0:00 Shooing away goats and piggies from rattlesnake, removing from enclosure. Don’t kill snakes people. Thank you Chris and Gabby! Respect snakes! 15:39 Back to goats and piggies. Pretty sure hungry piggies are more aggressive than snakes. 16:33 Dung beetle 😂 16:53 Foster baby piggies 17:12 Chloe dance dance! 17:48 Tortoise laying the calcified eggs, feeding other tortoises, giant baby emus, more egg laying 20:00 Cavy/mara and the bowl steal 20:28 Feeding foxes 21:40 Feeding coaties 23:27 Jellybean, Petri, Olaf 24:16 Prairie dogs 25:30 Cleaning coatie enclosure 29:10 Removing tarps 31:33 Small aviary cleaning, dog snuggles, Chris and his hat of birds 32:30 Cleaning goats and pigs enclosure, pig scritches 33:58 Night checks, Asami and Jet, coaties
My uncle used to have a photo of an Eastern Diamondback they found on their property in Green Cove Springs. They had someone like you come out to remove it. That snake was every bit 7 feet long. In the photo the wrangler, who was about 6'2". has the snake's tail, holding it above his head & there's easily another foot of the snake on the ground. And it was thick, too.
Thanks guys another great vlog I was really stoked for a new one thank you for all the updates and for including the night checks everyone looks like they're are doing well hope you and Gabby are too Chris!!!!!
It stopped rattling. It was very scared now it can tell you are not going to hurt him. Im so glad you saved him! I used to hate snakes but Chris & Gabby educated me. 😊🐊
The amount of knowledge you two put out there is amazing and truly appreciated. I only recently moved to Florida and one of my concerns is the venomous snakes. We have very few in Massachusetts in comparison where I spent most of my life. I always knew to simply walk away from snakes. I have been told by neighbors the ones to be aware of are the pigmy rattlers because they are small and are tough to see. They are only as issue in the summer with all the rain.
Happy to help! And yes pygmies bite the most people as they’re so small and well camouflaged, thankfully they’re not typically considered life threatening, but it’ll definitely ruin your day. Good footwear and watching where you put your hands helps the most
"Kill the animal" as a solution to human encroachment into their territory just gets me angry and sad at the same time. Like when people get mauled by bears, cougars, bison etc trying to get a selfie and the NPS rangers etc go and hunt down the animal because it "no longer fears humans". Well duh. You broke into the animal's "home", antagonized it to the point it felt threatened and decided to defend itself. The animal was doing what is instinctive for it and as a result, is killed. Humans make me so sad at times. Anyway Chris & Gabby another great video. Much love & continued success to the both of you!
Cheeseburger and milkshake? Hey, I watched this video eating a salad with homemade sugar free dressing, and half a protein bar! 😅 I enjoyed the rattlesnake education, and thanks for showing us the turtle laying eggs! Something most people don't get to see - I certainly never have.
I live in the country in Florida , I have 4 acres and I leave the snakes alone , they don’t bother me I don’t bother me . That’s a beautiful snake there ! Thanks for not hurting it 👍🏼
Thank you for saving the Snake, I see so many homesteader's on this app have this colonizer mindset and UNALIVED native animals for no reason, Another awesome video Chris love the wildlife conservation work you do 👏👏👏
I love animals, and as a kid would pick up everything, my mom made sure I knew how to identify all dangerous spiders and snakes, It kept me safe, just talk to your kids and train your animals, we are on their territory
Im so proud of the little tortoise for getting all those eggs out. ❤️ I CANT BELIEVE HOW BIG THE BABY EMUS ARE. 😭 Did you guys decide to get the feather dna testing done for them? Great video today Chris and Gabby. 💚✌🏼
Yes, thank you for not killing animals! People who do that don't understand them, and all it takes is a little effort to educate yourself. We have wonderful resources for learning about our rich variety of native Florida wildlife, like this largest-of-all-rattlesnakes. One great educational resource is this channel.....hurray!
A representative of your Mouse and Rat Elimination System just wanted to touch base with you guys! But sadly got the coordinates wrong for First Contact!
godbless for the work you do, everyone involved ❤ just can't get enough of this! your content, your work and you guys! it's people like you who give me hope for the future, thank you ☺️ truly some of the world's wildlife ambassadors 🙏🏼
Do the Emus have names? I only hear you call them "the emus". Thank you for all that you do. watching your nightly video is now a daily thing. You have the most calming voice! I think i am in love with the coati and the foxes.
Wow that was one of the most gorgeous rattlesnakes I've ever seen. So quick, so smart, so not having it with the pigs and your stick! 😂 I will call him Striker and hope to see him again when he's not in stomping range of Julie! (Julieeee!💓)
I am a city boy, and I would never dream of killing any "dangerous" animals (yeah they are powerful dangerous, but they attack as last resourt). Snakes especially, snakes are just so cool and pretty, I love snakes so much. Bears are freakin huge, and smart, I don't want to have deal with that.
Well, I am not going to hate on you. I love you guys. I am afraid of snakes to the extent I wouldn't want to handle one or be near one, but I appreciate and agree with your point of view and approach to all these animals, wild or rescued. Love the Avatar example.
Thank you for not killing this beautiful snake. Just be careful. Where there is one there are others. Also I was unaware that the wild hogs could kill them. Thanks for the info.
They're such beautiful animals though. It is amazing how so many animals can and kill venoms snakes. You can see how all the animals knew there was a threat around, pretty cool :)
Thank you for appreciating that you were in the snake's territory. You are a wonderful advocate for ALL animal life.

That’s a big Rattle snake,I didn’t know that pigs will kill them!! Thank you for sharing the information about Rattlesnakes!!
🙌
I love that assessment of people who kill wildlife needing to be in the city. There are so many people here out West who want wolves gone and they act like people from the city don't understand wolves or we wouldn't be for protecting them.
Good afternoon Chris, wow that rattler is big and beautiful. Such a fun and exciting vlog today. Have an amazing day you 2
Thank you! You too!
I like the nerd moments. They show how much you guys know about the animals.
Thanks! 🤓
That was one mad snake. I cannot believe the snake sat there the entire time...over 10 minutes...you were talking! Great save!!
🙌
Yes. Thank you for saving that beautiful snake so it can go on to reproduce. You two are a blessing to that land.

Exactly!

That’s what I say all the time 😂

@@GatorChris_ I sure miss that Dog! She had a very distinctive "I see a SNAKE!" bark.

Well done for not killing the snake Chris. As always very educational..🐍👌
He would never
.... I'm not sure why people think they need to kill everything if it's being a problem. And that's a weird way of being. Just move it.
Wonderful job protecting him. Not sure I would want to release it back on my property but good for you!
Thanks guys another great vlog I was really stoked for a new one thank you for all the updates and for including the night checks everyone looks like they're are doing well hope you and Gabby are too Chris!!!!!

Thankful for you .
Very interesting hearing the information about the rattlesnake
Respect for handling so well with snakes.
I love our eastern diamondbacks.
They’re so cool!
You absolutely have the right attitude toward snakes. What a beautiful creature, but I’m grateful and glad it didn’t snag anybody or get snagged!
"Kill the animal" as a solution to human encroachment into their territory just gets me angry and sad at the same time. THANK YOU why is it so hard to get people to understand this!
Wow Chris! Great job with that rattle snake! I have sooo many vlogs to catch up on. I was looking for Dinos rescue video and saw this!
Loved the vlog Easter Diamondbacks at my favorite rattlesnakes it’s my dream to see one in the wild
They’re a cool species!
Thanks for the interesting video! I admire you guys - but I'm glad I live in the city.
🙌😂
Thank you ❤
Can you neuter/spay a turtle or tortoise? Very relieved all the eggs were passed, bet she feels so much better. 😻
I’m so happy to see you posted today. Are you not doing daily videos anymore? The last few days I’ve been worried because no videos since last week.
Same here!! I watch every day and was hoping nothing happened!

I definitely think once hazel is able to be roommates with chippo , he will become a lot more confident and come out of his shell!
1 huge rattlesnake in with the pigs and other animals, omg 😮😮! I just subscribed to your channel!
I initially thought you were primarily protecting the pigs from the snake. The fact it was the other way around is very cool
Amazing video, that rattle snake was so cool!
Thanks!
You guys are amazing!!
Go Pebbles!!!!!! 😱🥳 Well done team, that's such good news, and so neat to see her do the job!
I live in the country in Florida , I have 4 acres and I leave the snakes alone , they don’t bother me I don’t bother me . That’s a beautiful snake there ! Thanks for not hurting it 👍🏼

Chris has adamantium nerves!

Just looking at how beautifully camouflaged this rattlesnake is. If it wasn’t rattling it would be super difficult to find in the area you moved it to
Well, I am not going to hate on you.

Diamond backs and Gopher tortoises..❤
“Saving rattlesnakes from Julie the pig.”
Wow! Such excitement!!
Wow! So cool. Thanks! 🙏 ❤
In Australia they have snake fences, that stop snakes from coming into areas. Maybe something like that would work. It's a beautiful snake.👍🐍
that is so awesome fact about pigs and rattle snake
That's Snake is Not Happy You Interrumped Her Hosle He Was Trying To Gets So Food!😊
Fascinating stuff
Not sure if you use the fly spray for the pigs on them and their enclosures but it works wonders and they seem to love it 😊 great looking rattler!!
They're such beautiful animals though. It is amazing how so many animals can and kill venoms snakes. You can see how all the animals knew there was a threat around, pretty cool :)
As scary as it is it’s good to see a wild specimen in such condition.
