Super video. With detailed view and schemes. Two questions: 1st how long it took - from first cut to first powering on after assembly? and these Dell supplies - they are in series to provide about 60V but output current is about 7A (total 390W). RAIDEN converts it to 14,4 V 18A (260W). 2nd Were there any temperature problems (in supplies or Raiden)?
I started on January 1st and finished it on January 9th.
But I worked partially 2-3 hours in the evening after work.
Totally for about 3-4 working days.
At 14.4V 18A, consuming about 4.5A from Dell Chargers.
After about 20-25 minutes of charging with 18A, the temperature rise from 20 degrees to 33 degrees.
Can you please tell us what type of plastic is the case? Is this stiplex? Thanks for the great video.

How about the battery packs, do they charge too if the powersupplies are running?
I have not made it charge the batteries, but with 1 additional button I can make them charge controlled through this RIDEN power supply, which has a function for charging the batteries.
You know I got the idea to do it🤔🤝

I have to ask are you printing battery adapters by your self or they could be ordered from somewhere.
I have build bluetooth speaker based on x20v batteries and those adapters will be perfect.

are those ON-OFF-ON switches? I mean what happens when you set the switches to middle position?
Браво харесва ми и аз съм наумил подобен проект и засега търся решение за защита на батериите от разреждане, както при акумулаторните инстументи подава информация на третия пин например като някоя клетка падне под 3 волта защитата се задейства? Някакви идеи като изключим да си ги набавя от стари винтоверти проблема , е че никой не ги продава а и цената им е висока за повреден инстумент.

Понеже във уреда показва входното напрежение и затова не съм се интересувал от защитата на батериите. Но ще измисля нещо, ако намеря ще ти напиша.
Батерията дава информация на платката на винтоверта и самия винтоверт не позволява да работи.
Иначе имам и по проста и компактна версия на това устройство и супер ме кефи когато работя със нея

@@ErCanEverything опитвам се да разбера как работи комуникацията между батерията и уреда не следи общото напрежение на батерията, а веднага изключва като някоя от клетките падне под 3В дори другите клетки да по 4В. Аз разработих една схема с ценеров диод, но следи общото напрежие на батерията. Лек ден
@@highvoltage5032 Явно BMS след като отчете спад във 1 от клетките и не позволява се включи.
@@ErCanEverything Ако може да намерим някакво съвместно решение ще е добре щото батерии Парксайд ги ползвам за вграждане към други инструменти и ще е супер да си е със защита.

I forgot to ask, Can those 3 dell chargers connected in series really provide 60V 18A (1080W) under sustain load without getting to hot and blow up?
Not providing 18A at 60V
At 60V = 6.7A
At 30V = 13.4A
At 15V = 26.8A
I don't think I will have to use it more than 24V, but if necessary I will set it to 6-7A and there will be no problem🙂

Znam ih, ali nije samo punjač.
Učinio sam to jer mi je trebao prekidačko napajanje (Power Supply).
Imam punjača baterija koliko hoćeš.
Ali ovo je sasvim druga stvar🙂
I would just use a Utility knife, and cut an one side and then brake it, and that works faster and much less work,
you get clean cuts then.
