Showing how you deal with problems, mistakes, the unexpected is just as instructional and having everything go swimmingly. Thanks for a great channel. I've learned a lot from you.
Wow!!! Is there anything you cannot do? 😂 You really are the best DIYer I have ever seen on here. You just have that skill and everything always looks amazing and beautiful! Your home is absolutely gorgeous! Your home is picture perfect and magazine worthy! I can’t wait to see the finishing touches on the hallway! The beams will definitely add that extra special touch! Thanks for sharing! 😊
You are very talented. The other week I changed 3 hallway light fixtures ( by my self) and it literally took me all day. But I did it!!! Can’t wait to see the beams up. You have given your house so much charm and character. Beautiful
You inspire me ! Im 26 and I try to learn and do as much stuff around the house to save money, so I purchased a saw and algo thought I bought a nail gun come to find out it was a staple gun lol! But I’m slowing learning from you thank you!!!❤❤❤😂😂
I sit here and look at all your doing to your home and how just amazing it all turns out. Just amazing the things you can do. I found your channel when you redid your stairs and have went back and watched a lot of older videos enjoy looking at these types of videos and am so glad I found you. I want to at least change out my lights in my kitchen and the way you have explained and showed how to do it I feel I can make this happen. I am not good at even painting lol but want to try to do something to make my home more elegant. I just love your channel and wish I could do half the things you can do ♥️
you are so hardworking girl and do creative work. texture on wood looking very gorgeous. i am big fan of you. recently i started carpentry work. you really inspired me. i love wood working.
Hi Kelsey....again, absolutely love your experimentation, and the fact that you share that with all of us. Can't wait to see the beams installed! Have a great weekend.
I didn’t sand at all and used multiple colors of stain , had small lights installed plus a piece of faux leather on the ends to look like metal strapping, it’s my favorite project in our home
Hi! Looks awesome! I am really impressed with your design eye. The brick wall looks so cool too! I was thinking you could change the hallway 1/2 wall to a railing, then you would see the whole hallway when you look up the stairs, and more natural light would come from the rooms to the stairwell. 😁
I am loving the beams! Thanks for doing that staining technique. I have a couple of pieces that I thrifted and I think I am going to try that technique! Looking awesome in the hallway!
Oh my gosh girl, you should have cut power to that light before you switched it out - I'm so glad you didn't electrocute yourself! The lights are beautiful by the way 👍
Please flip the breaker off…or at least test the wires before you touch them. Some people have some funky wiring. If you get electrocuted I’ll never get my house renovated!😢
OMG TURN OFF THE BREAKER JFC! And if you’re going to tell people it’s “super easy” to do this (which, in many cases, it is) AT LEAST tell them to TURN OFF THE BREAKER. Just switching off the power at the light switch is SUPER DANGEROUS.

Thank you for the close up for changing the lighting, now I can do this!😊
Glad I could help!
The “most real” DIY-er I have seen.👍🏻
Thank you! That means a lot!
Because of you, I bought myself a table saw for Valentine’s Day lol
I love this!! I love my table saw!
You really amaze me!!!! My husband and I just hung 3 new ceiling fans.....I attached the blades to the brackets. Lol...😂. Then handed them to him.
I’ve been there before. But then I got way too impatient to wait on my husband 🤣

Wow, thank you! But trust me- my home isn’t always picture perfect. The areas I’m not working in tend to get crazy during a project.
@@KelseyRomitoDIY you are so welcome! Looking forward to many more of your videos and can’t wait to see what you have in store next! 😊

🤣🤣 sounds like something I would do.
You explain your projects so well and detailed, I feel like I could do them also. I love your channel and had to subscribe. 😊😊
Thanks so much! I love hearing that my videos make people want to give projects a try!
Wow. Changing out a light looks super simple. I might have to give it a try!
You should! It was so much easier than I thought.

Queen of DIY !!!!!
I'm so glad I found your channel! It's now one of my favorites! Can't wait to see the finished hallway, love what you've done so far. 😀
Thank you so much! ❤️
Best channel on you tube. You are a very talented, amazing lady. Love your channel.
Wow, thank you!
Sure love that brick wall! The Beams are turning out great. What a super touch for that Hallway. Can't wait till next week:) Cathleen
Great job Kelsey. I'm glad you found a fix for the stain issues. Pine can be tricky to stain. They are looking good.
Thanks so much! I’m glad it ended up working out too. I learn something new every project!
You’re the best! Love that wall and the beams are going to be amazing! Always look forward to a weekend show of yours ❤️
Thanks so much!!
Always enjoy your projects! You're so helpful and you do beautiful work. ❤
Thank you so much!
Ohhhhh, can’t wait to see the beams up!
Have a great week!

That's a good idea, good suggestion.
@@lindaroyal8161 😁😁💗
Definitely been thinking about this! But it will probably be in another round of renovations. I’m never 100% done with a space.
@@KelseyRomitoDIY it's so fun to see how you come up with the designs 😁
I am loving the beams! Thanks for doing that staining technique. I have a couple of pieces that I thrifted and I think I am going to try that technique! Looking awesome in the hallway!

Already know I'mma say great job but, part that made me laugh was your disclaimer!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
🤣🤣🤣
🤗🤗🤗🤗. Can’t wait!!!
Beautiful! Can't wait to see the finish!
Thanks! I’m so excited about it!
Love it
Early American is my favorite stain. I’m putting it all over my house
It’s all over my house too!
awesome
Don't you have to turn off the breaker before you start changing a hard wired light fixture?
You don’t have to as long as the light is off but it’s always a good idea.
Oh my gosh girl, you should have cut power to that light before you switched it out - I'm so glad you didn't electrocute yourself! The lights are beautiful by the way 👍
Thanks- I did cut the power before I installed the light, just didn’t include that part.
I thought you’re supposed to turn off the power before working on electrical?
Yep. Should have included that. If the light switch is off, the wires aren’t live and you can touch them but it’s best to turn off the breaker.
Please flip the breaker off…or at least test the wires before you touch them. Some people have some funky wiring.
If you get electrocuted I’ll never get my house renovated!😢
🤣🤣 I appreciate the concern. I tested the breaker before I changed the lights.

You’re right- I should have included that. The breaker was off but I turned it back on to test.
