Definitely agree with the Globular Cluster recommendation. The PSVR2 is one size fits some, and the back always slid up my head. With the Globular Cluster I can play from fully charged controllers to flat batteries now.
Will have to check this out does the same to me. No matter how I adjust it the psvr2 walks up the back of my head. Only headset that does this to me even the psvr I no issues with.
Isn't it weird that although the screen is right up close to your eyes in VR, if you're shortsighted your brain still registers stuff as being far away and therefore blurry just like real life.
It's not the brain registering like that. Is the fact that, being the nature of VR (small screen + lenses) your eyes focus is STILL as if you would look at something far away. :)
I have the globular cluster add on and even though it looks a little scary to install (it's actually pretty easy and quick to do), it's 100% worth it! It solved my comfort issue and because it's so snug, it doesn't slide at all, which helps tremendously with that tiny sweet spot. You just set it and forget it. I also got the same charger as GT and I love that thing too.
Agree on the Globular Cluster comfort kit. Use the Felt front and back pads. What a difference! Also have the Collective Minds docking station. Only nit with it, is the lack of a power switch.
I just bought the Globular Cluster and it was a game changer. I was almost going to return my PSVR2 before my month window was up. I installed it yesterday, and I am definitely keeping it now. I was constantly slipping out of the sweet spot before, but now it's always as clear as I could possibly be. It was scary installing though. It was creaking so much that my wife was afraid I was going to break the headset. (I actually tore the stock forehead material because I didn't realize at first i had to remove the actual plastic piece instead of the rubber material. Oops. Not going back to that anyways.)
Helps immerse with vr football though I do notice I still gotta clean it from sweat after every use. Glad with temperature down I don't sweat as much as the summer. But yeah I think that's probably the only good accessory besides the cloth for the lens and alcohol and paper towels for edges and outside. We have a charger with dualsense controller and 1 with VR so you cam charge both at once, and the box lets you pull out a mold to place those vr parts in.
I got the VR-Rock lenses for my PSVR2 (and PSVR1) a couple months back and I regret not getting them far sooner. For anyone that wears glasses/contacts, I think these are a must-have. I used play with contact lenses, but my eyes often dry out after long sessions, making playing quite uncomfortable. I'd also risk wearing the headset with my glasses on, but have seen way too many people accidentally scratch the lenses of the headset.
I have globular cluster earphones and they have a little track that connects to the back like the earbuds to keep the wire up out of the way and they rotate to make it easy to put on and take off
@@MrLordbeavisI got those too. They sound really good but don't touch my ears well. The only part that touches is the bottom. I have to put the volume up loud but they have good bass and trebles. I got the smaller round speakers. They are the best for the headset.
i got blue filter from vr rock with my prescription and anti glare, never noticed any yellowness from it at all. I've switched them back and forth, and they look fine. got them in june last year.
For somebody who purchased prescription lenses from vr wave themselves for PSVR2 I will say that is a absolute need. If you do not have them you are missing out!!!!! it was literally the biggest difference to me and my eyesight isn’t even that bad
This is amazingly close to my setup. I have lenses from another cheaper company HonsVR. I have the same VR showcase and charger, the same globular cluster too. A also found removing the arm on the showcase was the best way to make it more compatible with the large rear cushion on the globular cluster. All of which is highly recommended. The HonsVR does have a little more glare than stock but other than that it’s great.
I'm pretty happy with Head Strap Cover Set from VR Cover. Before the headset kept sliding unless I tightened it a lot, But then it was uncomforable. VR Cover improved the comfort a lot. A lense protection, it's missing feature, Sony missed that one.
I bought honsvr lenses that work perfectly for me. They're a little sharp when you tilt your head back and you definitely feel them when the weight brings the headset down, but they're crystal clear. I have the vr cover and it's great, but i also use a thin stretchy bandana if it's really hot. The last accessory i have is the official vr sense charger. I hate that thing!! It looks good, but docking the controllers is a nightmare.
Cool really just to see whats out there, I'm currently playing using my psvr2 as it comes and dont have too many issues with it. But the guns gunstock may have to be purchased.... The lenses just to make sure there's no scratches is a good idea...
Cool video mate I got the cover guard massive improvement I thought on preventing the sweaty head! Also the VR rock lenses as I'm short sighted was a game changer 👍🏻
I have the official sense charger dock and tbh I'm disappointed with it. It looks great but I still struggle to dock the right controller and often it's not charged when I go to use it. Not sure if I've got a faulty unit tbh. Also the little magnetic adapters just aren't powerful enough. Wish I'd bought that collective minds dock instead now. I also have a cheap carry case I got off Amazon which I use to store the headset. It's OK nothing special but came with a foam lens protector and an inside pocket to store the cable.
So the VR Rock lenses you ordered are just: RIGHT SPH: -0.00 [ $0.00 ] RIGHT CYL: -0.00 LEFT SPH: -0.00 [ $0.00 ] LEFT CYL: -0.00 Otherwise, I don't see an option for non-prescription. Thanks!
Isnt there an option to change the PSVR 2's original lenses with better ones ?! The original ones have those lines at the edges and everything is blurry when you look at something on the screen that is NOT in the center.
I mean ive searched everywhere and seem to be the only one with this problem but with the PS Vr2 im having problems with how it sits on my nose. Causes huge discomfort till the point ive stopped using it, searched everywhere for some kind of nose comfort peice but cannot find any. Any ideas guys?? cause its a shame its fun machine to be using!!!
Thanks Bro,for sharing your experiences with the PSVR2 kit.Helps our understanding of VR now also😃👍🏻Good work,Gamertag VR..Rock on with the VR gaming,Thanks Bro👍🏻

Ps vr is absolute dog doo doo hahaha you can see the tiny lines from the crappy lenses inside the vr it’s like looking through a soapy piece of plastic. The “sweet spot” is a silver dollar in the center of your eyes causes massive eye strain everything is blurrry around the edges honestly pure garbage

Why is it scary to install

I just stick a bandana on while playing. Helps with the sweat and the knot at back keeps vr from riding up your head.
Yea me too its cheap and good
@@S51mx absolutely 👍🏼
It worked pretty decent for me too, but during the summer it made me sweat like a pig. VR Cover doesn't do that

I’m gonna get non prescription to avoid scratches. Would you advise getting the anti glare ones?
Just stopping by to say thanks for the Globular Cluster rec. 180 degree turnaround in comfort. Awesome
PSVR2 needs something like the Bionik Mantis that doesn't have all the excess wire.
I have globular cluster earphones and they have a little track that connects to the back like the earbuds to keep the wire up out of the way and they rotate to make it easy to put on and take off

I am curious, does the globular cluster headstrap dampen the haptic headset feedback a lot or can you still feel it pretty good?

I see you don't use silicon grip buttons on your controllers.
That would be really a comfort upgrade for you.
For someone that spends hours in Vr at a time for work purposes, Lenses are a must have, and anything that takes pressure off your forehead
Refinding this vid for some lenses and wanted to ask which set do U use, magnetic or otherwise? Thanx for Ur time and as always: GG GT! 👊😎
