  • Have you ever witnessed an INFJ anger outburst, or do you wonder what it looks like, given its rarity? INFJ anger is complex, manifesting in 7 unique ways that might have gone unnoticed by you, especially with an INFJ friend. It's easy to overlook, as INFJs aren't known for dramatic displays of anger, such as flipping tables or yelling. Instead, these sensitive, empathetic individuals, known for their forward-thinking, possess a hidden, darker side when expressing rage, which doesn't always involve the stereotypical INFJ door slam.
Despite their peaceful and empathetic nature, INFJs can experience intense anger. Being highly private about their emotions and thoughts makes INFJs experience and manage their anger in ways that might be hard to detect, especially for those not familiar with the INFJ personality. Recognizing this can be particularly challenging if you're not an INFJ, given their unique approach to processing and expressing intense emotions.

I believe it should be.....in a healthy way, of course. Holding that in can lead to emotional and mental issues.

@@yourmindisyoursuperpower No, not holding it in as in suppressing. No. Anger is power that can lead to some damn good decisions and some expert understanding. Perhaps think a bit deeper than just the thought of anger as a surface, childish tantrum... that's not what it is.

Anger is an emotion just like joy or sadness. Repressing emotions is dangerous.
Who taught you anger should not be expressed?

@@chrislim7976 Wow! Hello world! The whole western world wants you to suppress your emotions. Here, take a pill to make you a zombie instead. When I stated my comment I meant anger should not be expressed in a destructive rage. I thought that was obvious... yes, when adults express anger of two year olds throwing a tantrum people often adhere to those expression as if so important, especially the louder it is and the more tumultuous it is.
