It was good to meet you in person Jay, living in Louisiana didn’t get any easier for me with a game like last night.
I’m shocked OU looked more like the team that played Ole Miss rather than the team that drug Alabama. I expected OU to play a cleaner game regardless of the ultimate outcome mostly due to being one dimensional due to injuries.

That double pass from Sharp felt like the dagger, I hate that play and it just feels like #10 is a liability way too often to be our starting tight end. I really do have nothing against the guy it’s just hard to watch sometimes.

Great point, u are spot on! OUr inept secondary has been hiding behind the pressure OUr D line generates. Unfortunately, OUr D line met its match today, which exposed OUr weak secondary. Pass coverage has been a problem all season but covered up by the play of OUr front 7.

This is Washingtons States' stats on the season if we are indeed getting Arbuckle...
    Ppg: 37.3
    Total TDs: 61
    1st downs: 274
    *3rd down: 57-139*
    *3rd down%: 41.1*
    *4th down: 13-24*
    4th down%: 54.17
    Passing yards: 3,226
    Passing yards per game: 268.8
    Rushing yard: 2,059
    *Rushing yards per game: 171.6*
    Total yards: 5,285
    Yards per game: 440.4
That's honestly not bad, pretty sure it ranks in the top 15 offenses, and 37 points would have won us all our games except Ole Miss and LSU

I hate to be the guy but that play call on the double pass was so bad. You had this offense and Arnold in particular clawing, willing the team down the field fighting for every inch and that play gets called? What had we ever seen from 10 this season that indicated this was the play OU needed and the time to call it? He has dropped several pivotal uncontested passes on the season. Sorry for the rant it was just brutal and at the worse time.

To address all these calls to fire Brent. He is a fantastic defensive coach. A lot of defensive players still want to play for him. Especially if stutsman gets highly drafted. We fire him we lose a lot of potential on the defensive side of the ball. We sacrificed offense for defense, but yall wanna sacrifice defense for nothing. The offense must be fixed before the thought of firing Brent can even be entertained. As for arnold I would like to see him again with a healthy WR room but Oregon will probably take him. the future of our program hinges on the oc hire and if he brings a QB along or not

This season is like a witches brew.
    Two. Examples to follow.
If you look at the wide receivers and I know our class has been decimated by injuries, but if you look at the receivers from LSU Tennessee, they’re not only big and fast they are extremely athletic and who knows if Anderson Gibson, Anthony etc. will come back from injury and be the same or better ??? cannot compete with this.
Second example if the injury that the LSU quarterback sustained happen to JA, our medical staff would have them out 4 to 6 weeks with multiple setbacks . We might have 20 or more players, who have similar circumstances.

We have to get bigger and meaner dudes? 5’10 dudes?
    I don’t care how athletic they are…. 5’10 can’t compete with 6’4 dudes.
Offensively- We better hire a big Name. Someone who can bring players with them…. A Will Stein from Oregon or Warren Ruggiero, Wake Forest

Same quarterback and expecting different results?!
He only passed 3xs beyond 10 yards. He won't throw the ball and takes sack after sacks on passing and even on 4TH DOWN. Common sense just throw the dang bal no matter what, completed, pass interference or interception way down the field is like a punt. Why give up and not give yourself any type of chance

I didn’t watch. I had a bad feeling all day long and I just knew that last Saturday was lightning in a bottle. This is the worst Oklahoma offense I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of them. Last week was not them playing to their potential. It was them over achieving. Last night was them playing to their potential. Which is dog shiz. They sucked last night. Just like every other game except the Alabama one. This is a bad offense and I don’t know how we got this bad except for missed evaluations and bad coaching. Next season better be night and day different. Not trying to get a bowl game. If we lose more than 3 games next year then Venables has to go. Sorry coach, but that’s just how it is

I’m wondering how bad this going to get before someone takes the time to tell BV and his entire staff that they need to put their houses on the market. I personally will not spend another dime on OU sooner merchandise. BV is a disappointment, DM can’t get the running room in order, BB can’t recruit, JJF is not the answer. A NEW OC WILL NOT FIX THIS TEAM! Joe C. Should have NEVER given BV a contract extension after one good season. Now we can’t get rid of him, that’s what we get for letting Bob Stoops pick the head coach.
