It boggles my mind that so many people are wanting players that didn't play much at the big schools. Why do we want someone that wasn't good enough to start at a powerhouse school? Their coaches saw them next to the starter, and said "nah". That's who people want? Crazy. It's a FANTASTIC strategy to establish your team as a perennial middle-of-the-road team. Much better to go find the people that were undervalued in their initial recruitment. There's tons of great players that got missed or were undervalued, or were still growing, or had bad coaching in high school but had some success because of athleticism. THAT'S where the vast majority of value is in the portal.

I’m not concerned with any of it. As long as the team can stay healthy and preform, I have nothing but confidence in the coaching staff and their ability to find the players.
