🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other women find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confidence.

I wonder if pictures make us obsess about facial features because when I look in the mirror I don't always hate myself but as soon as I take a picture I'm like please tell me I don't look like that
I definitely think that it can contribute to the obsession. Especially with all the filters and certain apps (i.e snapchat), that people use, because they say it makes them look "better." This way we don't get used to our real features.
It's so sad how much time us, women, spend obsessing with things (about ourselves) that don't matter at all. Society makes us self-conscious about ourselves and we lose so much time and energy worrying about things that, really, shouldn't define us.
Just imagine how much time and energy men have at their hand, not being so worried about their features and if they look attractive enough. They're just sure of themselves, even if they look like a potato!
When i look in the mirror im the most beautiful and sexiest girl in the world, when i take a photo i hate myself
Cameras can distort the image if you take a selfie or a picture of yourself to up close. When you take a picture a bit far from your face you’re more likely to look like how you would look like in the mirror. I had lack of confidence because of this but when I started taking pictures of myself with a professional dslr and at least 1.20m far away from my face I thanked god I for not looking obnoxious, so that gave me my confidence back.
Flip the pic! The camera flips the picture around when it takes it, so flip the pic back in a photo editor and youll notice the pics look better
At the age of nearly 50, I’ve realised that most people are far too self absorbed to notice most of these things we hate about ourselves. A lot of people can’t even have a conversation without talking over others or switching off.
I was sooo conscious about my long pointy chin, this video is godsend haha

Ive always been self conscious about my side profile and then one day I went to a new dentist and she told me I had a witch’s chin I had never been so sad about my face it made me hate my face 100x more. I have an underbite and also a hooked nose. It’s hard coming to terms with how I look thank you so much for your videos Aly, always teaching us how to accentuate, not hide out natural features !!

i have a longer face myself and a prominent chin, one thing i try to avoid is chin length bob hair. I did that once, and it just brought my chin out even more and i dont think it looked good. I think shoulder length hair tends to look best. Longer hair can look good too but be careful because it can also drag the face down and cause people to look at your face up and down instead of side to side, which is what you want

@@hopeking37 i think maybe because i also have a long face. when i had a chin length bob it made me feel like my face was so big. I definitely prefer shoulder length hair
I have a pointy chin I’m ok with it. However when I had Botox a few months ago my doctor told me he could make my chin more feminine not so masculine. I am never going back to him again.

My chin is like this and I’ve been so self conscious about it for years. It points out the same amount my nose points out, but it’s only slightly angled down so it looks like it sticks out loads if you look at my face from the side. In pictures I always hide my chin with my hand or I feel like it sticks out wayyy too far. This video helped a little :) thanks

i hate my chin- i think i look like a troll, my side profile is witch like. however, people aren’t looking closely at your face & they don’t care unless they’re school bullies. i put effort into dressing in my style, so it’s not the first thing people notice. unless you’re trying to model, it’s not the WORST thing in the world. not as bad as i thought it would be when i was 13. this video helped me feel better & gave me great advice as usually. now i have some tips to hide it more. (:

I always tell people my chin is so pointed and witch like that i can hang bags off of it 😹 They always tell me they NEVER notice it till i pointed it out, so i learnt to give myself a break because people don’t notice it/it isn’t as bad as we perceive it to be 😭

Thank you for making this video. I was excessively bullied as a kid for my “big head” but the truth was, I have a pointed chin like Reese Witherspoon and my jawline is define, but instead of being a square jaw, it’s a curved jaw line, so I look like a “moon” and then I have a fiverhead that I hide with a fringe.
I specifically told my hairdresser to not cut my hair in a triangle that points down at the chin area, since it’ll emphasise that point even more, she completely understood it and cut my hair in a short straight cut shape. So my short straight hair hides my curved jaw line and evens out the pointy chin.

i hate my chin people have always pointed it out and said i look like a witch or the moon emoji from the side and it really gets to me i am only 16 and want to get surgery hopefulyl i can learn to embrace my chin !
Hey I'm 17 and preparing for a medical entrance exam so hopefully after giving my exam this year I'll go see a doc and probably undergo the surgery...but my parents don't want that cause they're scared....like I'm scared too but this is the one and only process to fix it permanently...then we will be able to live a happy life without being laughed at!!! It's really top in my insecurity list!!! I'm literally dying to fix it

Great tips. Also, another idea is to have eye-catching eye makeup or a hat to draw the focus upward.
I don’t look like any celebrity, even in resemblance; but I always get Reese Witherspoon or Kirsten Dunst. I have black hair and olive skin, so I know they’re just talking about the lower half of my face. Full cheeks, pointed chin. It’s turned into a self conscious thing for me at this point.

OMG we are so similar!! I'm an fn and forever I didn't understand how I have "blunt bone structure" and "lean muscle" but somehow have a very fleshy, weak jawline. I also have a large chin and I always feel like if I had a prettier jawline in general I would look so much better 😭

I have a long face and long chin with a narrow head. Basically, I only look good when my hair has volume on the sides. I found this easiest to achieve with a French style wavy bob. Even though bobs end around the chin, the volume on the sides completely neutralize my pointy chin.

I was the only sibling out of 5 who inherited a slight underbite from my father,my sisters look feminine but my face is small yet my jaw is strong and in pictures it looks prominent,its difficult for me to accept compliments when i really hate the lower half of my face and ont op of that many orthodontist have told me i should not get braces because it my jaw bone thats big.Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video because i was told that there was nothing i could do to make my face more harmonious

I have that kind of chin because of mouth breathing. I hate this 😶 i was bullied through my childhood, teenage years and even now. I'm very insecure about my looks. I'm so happy that we have to wear masks now cause nobody can see my awful face and i can walk outside with a little bit of confidence.

I have a chin very similar to Reese Witherspoon, but I’ve always found her to be beautiful, and it reminds me of my sister, who also has a pointed chin, and I think she is beautiful too. All that to say, I like my pointy chin! 😂

Hello i just found out I'm a dramatic classic but my wardrobe is full with hoodie's black skinny jeans short skirts and clothes that have some extras on it and mostly the color black and some red blue rose and yellow and i was wondering if u could do a video about classics with clothes that are a bit more darker so i don't have to change my whole wardrobe and I'm also a bit comfortable with a bit darker but i want to change it because i want that my body shape and features comes out beter if u could i would be really happy have a nice day btw☺️

I’m not sure what my face shape is. My forehead is the narrowest point and my cheekbones are slightly wider than my jaw. My chin is slightly prominent, especially compared to my small forehead. I have a moon chin like you say but not a wide jaw.
