Thank you Mario! Legend! Great tip, thanks for answering my comment by creating this video! I've been waiting to see this video come out, and you did not dissapoint!
Bro this was super helpful. I do indie films and I love the look of a prime for certain shots. I shot with AF and it was terrible kept searching. As long as I'm still cool but if I'm moving it's a wrap. So I switched to MF and it was much better but it was still kind of difficult .moving and focusing at the same time. lol im getting better but I'm a try the wide lens too. Good look. Subbed
agree with the wide angle lens part..moving shots look better with wide angle lenses.. one thing i have been loving recently is setting my end point and set focus on that and then move in or out ..at f4 / f5.6
but while filming you still use focus peaking? Because the middle point looks not so easy to guess. I use the GH5S and 14-140mm F3.5-5.6 panasonic lens. It went wrong last weekend shooting dancing kids inside a church for their communion. I used face tracking and went with DJI ronin sc from the left to right and a bit forward (for the children dancing on the second row) but face tracking didn't worked well. So I discovered you video for manual focus. This was a great video Mario. thank you.
Content is gold and straight forward. I'm glad that I'm subscribed to Mario Visions.
Thank you for the support my guy. Appreciate you

Glad it was helpful daniel. 🙌 thanks for reccomending that to me and I'm sure others will appreciate you as well. Hope this can help others 🙏
I hope this can help. You don't necessarily need these lenses. Im sure there's other ones. These two lenses just happen to work for me.
Thanks for sharing this, I picked up the Lumix S5 and have been trying to get better with the Manual Focus on it since autofocus on Lumix is shaky.
What a minute ! The autofocus is not good on the s5? Man i will cancel my order
see I already knew about increasing the DOF, I want to learn how to do it when I have a narrow DOF
Dude, dont stress if you have a lot of bookings. Your YT content is so damn good so we all, and probably more subs, will be here for the next ones 👊🏼
awesome advice - so simple but so effective. Thanks for the video
always great content.. keep up the great work, can't wait to see what else you come out with!

I missed something...set the aperature to 2.8 or higher but do I have to lock in the focus on the subject? Thank you.
Lock in the focus in the middle of your movement and when you push in n out you won’t really see the focus go out even though it will be.
@@MarioVisions Thank you
Bro ..needed this ..I have the S1h and I have my first video coming up
You got this 🙌
Great info.
That's dope Bro I subbed
Thank you my guy 🙏
Do you set the lens to Infinity focus?
Thanks

Definitely..even if the shot looks in full focus..theres just something about the image 🙌
Great video! Thanks 😋
how is the focus breathing on the sigma lens and how does these lenes work with fly by wire ?
Valid for 4/3? Or i need less focal?
The way to Travel, Mario🎥 👍
Thanks for your advice Mario. I got a few wide angle lenses. Peace out Brother. :)
No problem. Nice! Which lenses do you own?
x2 Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 for my Panasonic GH5/GH5s.
@@Filmmaker809 best combo setup right there for that cam 🙏
@@MarioVisions , thanx Bro.Turns M43 sensor into APC. Until the Panasonic GH6 comes out!

What do you think about the panasonic Lumix 16 to 35 Wide angle?
My friend is actually going to let me borrow that lens in a few days. Im eager to try it. Native glass I never used before on s1h.

Hey. Yeah I still use focus peaking to help me with how many steps I can take more before actually going out of focus bad 👍
very impressive!!!
I used to wonder who shot content like this
Thats a strong 400hz resonance.
Looking forward to some videos on 6k raw
Very soon. Just finishing up my jobs first want to test out raw before taking them to real world test but its coming
talk too fast
"You guys, you guys, you guys" This video is definitely gender biased 🥴
