we’re in the middle school band and I think us going through the whole school campus playing one of the millions of cadences would be really good for our confidence. we’ve always been really scared to play in front of a lot of people and especially alone but we know we have to get over it now or never.
Yeah if you’re going do anything with music/band in high school and beyond playing I’m front of people is what you’re there to do. You get used to it and eventually will enjoy playing in front of others either alone or with the band and find it fun, at least I did and I’m a very quiet person.
Dun is The Man I suppose snares ok too, and I know bass drums are important for keeping time, but in my eyes tenors are the best. I'm in the tenor line at my school and I always found it more enjoyable than when I played snare. but keep in mind it's just my opinion. if you like snare, that's cool with me; everyone has their thing :) sorry I didn't mean to sound biased like that.
@@Thomas_Varnell you can order sticks online dude. It's really not that hard lolol. Also if your school only buys snare sticks for the snares and tenors they are fucking idiots like wtf?
@@jamesgibson869 they were aluminum with a grip in the butt and my band director said they were good tenor stick but i might have over paid unless I confessed the price
My school as 25 cadences that we play and we have about over 5 that we play for no other reason besides just having fun with the others on the line. Drum circle for life.
Samuel Evans traditional grip is what you need to get used to unless you decide to become a tenor player then you'll play with matched grips but doesn't make it any easier lol I'm part of the upper battery in my school
Why is your stick bag on drum 2? Also, there are a lot more better cadences than this. We have more than 20 cadences and all of them have a great beat to them. We added new ones this year making it like 32. They are all better than this.

Tenors are the best marching percussion. screw bass drums, and snares, all you need are those sick tenor solos and your all set.
Ethanmatrix 8 Nah man snare is where it's at.

Alexi Lauto yeah man. just being in the drumline is cool.
I like all the drums I find that you can do alot with the tenors tho, and I love crashing the hell out of the cymbals
I disagree. our snares on our drumline sound so sick. they're better than our tenors by far. I find it that way for most drum lines.
Tate does this every year.....soooooo Cool!!
Lets start a go fund me for the tenor players using snare marching sticks
My school only provides snare sticks for snares and tenors, so I have to buy my own whenever I find myself in a music store

I had to buy my own sticks too i think the school dosent buy them because they were expensive mine were about 40 dollars
@@DJG44 how many pairs? You also definitely overpaid for you sticks.

You have a cadence dedicated to the pep rally? That's pretty cool
Aquamelon! We have like 20 drum cadences 😂
@@sixelz my school has like 4
Thats not there cadence
Aquamelon! A bunch of people do

Drum circle for life.
8:07 he flipped his stick around lol
Nick Cim that was me
Could’ve been to make the drums sound louder, but it’s still weird lol
Mason Humphries rockin' that tenor!
TheBamwhatzup is this mason
Theron Freas no this is patrick
He does not have the chops for tenors. Put more wait in your stroke. Also stroke through the diddle dude. The cadence isn't even that fast.
Really enjoy this cadence.
That Was Great! Gave Me Chills!
Kamran Shabazz Fufufufufufu
I seriously want to do this when I'm in high school
Samuel Evans I can't decide wether tenor or snare
Snare would be bad for a right handed person but tenor would be good for anyone
Samuel Evans Yeah I love playing tenor cause it's so basic but doing snare traditional grip is hard for cause I'm right handed
Don't let traditional grip affect your decision. After doing it for a while, it will feel natural.

can you post sheet music for this
I'm this drum for middle schools awesome
god damn you i was trying to take my sat lol
lmao
They looped the same cadence for 9 minutes.
Abby Woah really?
Abby so?
IKR it really got annoying I left the vid 😂
It's because everyone that they're passing will probably only hear it once
i mean thats what you do with a cadence... play it over and over until you get where you need to be
What is that cadence called someone please respond
I've never understood why pearl airframes strap into the back
I think it's to add support to the lower back
I use this harness, it really feels good on the lower back but I wish the top had more adjustment to it
where can I find this cadence?
Tenor gang
what is the name of that cadence?
Wow Remo pinstripes dont get to see those anymore .
im in middle school plzz tell me how you mounted the gopro on the carrier
You aren’t in middle school anymore I bet. I’m in middle school currently, I don’t use a GoPro but I attack my phone using a bendable tripod

lucky, we only got 3 cadences. on/off field, street, and the one we use to march to and from the field which doesn't even have a name.
