Totally agree! If you like Scott's falsetto, Lose Us is THE song to listen to. He uses it a lot in Rose Gold also, but I just really don't like the sound in it. In fact until Lose Us, I really wasn't a fan of his falsetto at all. He changed my mind with that song for sure.

They all do more than 1 character, with Kevin doing the fewest # of roles (3 I think) since he's mostly playing Toto. (Well I think Todrick just does 2 if I remember correctly, but he's not a PTX member so I wasn't counting him.)
This mashup is so seamless that since I didn't know the original songs I didn't know this was a mashup at all when I first heard it

One of my favorite things about this video is the switch up to Scott's falsetto range, then Mitch's lower register, then (of course) hitting his high range. Kirstin kills her part too. All their mash ups are great. For more of Scott's falsetto and Mitch's rap skills, you should react to their cover of Problem (Arianna Grande).

I'm so glad you checked this out. No one seems to check this song. They do it live in a radio studio with no dubbing. It's amazing as this is one very technical song. I'd recommend "Cheerleader" they totally transform the song. Id also recommend their original "Sing"
First off, I wanted to mention how much I enjoy seeing all of those books behind you! I own nearly every one of those hardbacks myself, and it's good to know there are still book readers out there! Is that your own collection? Nicely done!
Now, THIS video is Pentatonix Cannon! You cannot be a fan of PTX and never hear and fall in love with certain songs, "La La Latch" being one of them! I still have trouble listening to it just once and letting the next track play. I listen several times to try to hear everything that's going on in this mash-up! So glad you watched it! I'm pretty sure you've reacted to "Mary Did You Know?" ? It's important to watch that one too.. every member sings a solo. It gives me the feels every time! 😊
This is one of my favorites all time. Can You Feel The Love Tonight is also way up to the top. I'm a 69 year old man who grew up on country music but I have learned to love all types of music thanks to this group.

PTX are the masters of the mash-up. There's a reason they have won Grammys for their arrangements. So good.
You know, I don't even know the songs that this mashup takes from. So, for me, this is just one song that is perfect.
Honestly, check out Scott's tiktoks they're mostly funny but he has music and singing in them too. Obviously.
Two of PTX’s three Grammies are in the category of ‘Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella.’ Daft Punk (2015) and Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies (2016).
Daft Punk was one of their early mashups, and I know it combines a whole bunch of songs. I’m not familiar with any of the original material they used (I come from a gospel/country background) but I can recognize 5 distinct songs, and I’ve heard other people say 7 or 9 songs were used, which is mind-blowing on so many levels. And that’s before considering singing EDM style as an a cappella group.
I would love to see you react to ‘come along’ from Pentatonix. You would be amazed by each and everyone of them 😍

This is absolutely one of my favorite mash-ups of theirs, and it’s up there near New Rules x Are You That Somebody (though I think of that one as more of a remix with a killer sample), which you should also react to because it is AH-mazing

The first mashup like this they ever did was competing on a TV show called the singoff. They got their start on that show, and haven't looked back, except as special guests a couple of times.

Sorry to do this to you, my friend, but I know of one where he never points. Granted, they were portraying a portrait and I think they had to pry his hands off of the chair, but Say Something contains 0 hand movements other than Kevin.

One of my favourties, the mash up is amazing, I forget they are even separate songs. I love your reactions, you are me as hell, every single time. A suggestion is I may, Scott does a bomb of a duet with Rozzi, called Lose Us. It will blow you away.
I recommend listening to "Bohemian Rhapsody" is incredible. Queen's own Brian May heard it and said it's amazing.
Fact: As you know, Kevin is the main beatboxer, he's in charge of the beat of the songs, but all the members know how to do it (I'm not sure if Matt knows how to do it, but since he is the bass I think so. ). The difference is that Kevin has been doing it for many years, that is his talent. Another fact is that the beatbox is not just what Kevin does, the sounds that two of the vocalists make while one of them sings is also beatbox, as well as what Mitch does in Bohemian Rhapsody. All members are essential and that is one reason why the band works so well, they need each other and they know it.
Check out New Rules x Are You That Somebody for another great mashup, and Problem for more of Scott’s lovely falsetto.

You should do a marathon watch of there Sing Off appearance. It is great to watch them come into there own as a great group. Especially since Avi and Kevin were new to the group.

Hi Shannon 😁! I absolutely believe it! And most of the time those are the three I constantly mention for their incredible talent! I will absolutely buy some good headphones to listen back with once the lockdown is over and I’ve got the money!! I can only imagine how intense the experience is when you’re fully immersed within the sounds though headphones 🙌🏼🕺🏼

Great reaction! However, if the audio quality of this video is reflective of what you are actually hearing (I think you're watching this on a laptop and only using the built-in speakers), you're missing out on the richness of the bass (low end) from Avi (or Matt in newer videos). I highly recommend you listen with a pair of headphones/earphones that have a good bass response. La La Latch isn't the most bass heavy arrangement for PTX but if you're planning to react to the Daft Punk medley or Love Again, you really should use headphones. Alternatively, get a set of computer speakers that includes a subwoofer and you'll also hear a tremendous difference right away.

Kasian you've already become a true Pentaholic...don't know if you realize that they have nearly 18 MILLION subscribers and worldwide have 500,000,000 views of all their videos. If you love their mashups (and seriously, who wouldn't?), you really need to check out Despacito + Shape of You ... it's become my favorite of all their mashups, and that's saying something, because I love them all! Unfortunately, they didn't make an official video for it, there's only the audio track.
But there is a pretty good fan video from their 2018 concert tour where you can see them performing it live.
