    I finally feel the glute burn doing trap bar RDLs - I struggle to feel it using a straight bar or dumbbells. Thank you for introducing this variation! My new fave.

    Thank you so much for the Great content. Would you mind sharing how you learned to keep your trunk stable while lifting and thrusting and not posterior or anterior tilt

    • @HunterChilton
      @HunterChilton  9 месяцев назад +1

      Sure thing! So keeping your chin tucked and eye gaze forward will help keep you from hyperextending at the top. Second would be learning how to properly brace your core as most of the stabilization is coming from there. Imagine someone is going to punch you in the gut - that immediate reaction to tighten your mid section is actually you contracting your core. You want your core that tight throughout your reps. Practice with just the bar and if you can keep your core tight throughout then gradually add weight and repeat. When you reach a weight where you begin to struggle to maintain this, stick with that weight and or just a little under and start working on building your strength there. Remember to take a big deep breath and brace prior to lifting the weight. When you feel you need to reset and get another breath, do so between reps, not mid rep as you’ll lose that core tightness. Both of those tips will keep you from anterior or posterior tilting. As you build strength overtime in your stabilizers, glutes, and core, it will become easier to maintain.

      Haha, if your gym has a rubber floor you’re good 👍 Depending on the shoes you are wearing, some movements are just better performed barefoot.

    Hi Hunter! I know you have gymshark and I saw some things on your amazon storefront....but what are the best gym bottoms for 5 foot 9 girls....i can't find any where the seams fit correctly. I have never tried gymshark or the ones in your storefront. I was wondering what your best "1st buy" pair would be for taller women.

    • @HunterChilton
      @HunterChilton  9 месяцев назад +1

      All of Gymsharks leggings fit great. Definitely seems like they create theirs with taller peeps in mind. It’s never been an issue. The trick is if you’re inbetween sizes (which most people are) is to always buy the bigger size not tighter. So I can fit in a small and medium but I usually opt for medium because the tighter the fit the more they ride up if you get my drift. I only get smalls if the leggings naturally run big. Gymshark Vital seamless have been my go-tos for years. The sweat seamless and adapt leggings are newer favs of mine from them as well.

    • @HunterChilton
      @HunterChilton  9 месяцев назад

      Not sure which pads you are talking about but the pads for the abduction machine are just from my gym- no clue where they are from. Ones an ab pad thing and ones a yoga foam pad. The pad I used for the barbell thrusts is linked on my amazon store.
