I'm a student but when I'm done, I will sponsor. Ben is really a gem in this community. I think I would ask him to make lessons on winning move from rules like never play f3 or always play king b1
G'day. Just keep thanking the sponsors and more shall come. A 'thank you' is the best currency ever invented. Thanks to all sponsor dudes and dudettes. Peace.
Thank you sponsors and thank you Ben for your great contribution to the chess community! I too hope too sponsor a lecture one day to keep these going for a good while 😇🤗
One of the first chess books I ever saw was a collection of games annotated by Fine, filled with entries about various historical players. He was a compelling writer who really brought the game's history to life in a way that was great fun to read even to a complete amateur like me.
Wow, I knew Fine was strong, but the way he makes it look so easy to outplay Botvinnik, Alekhine AND some Bobby Fischer in their prime was really impressive. However, beating Lasker in 1936 really wasn't too hard, by then, he was nearly 70 years old.
13:22 ROOOAAAARRRRR!!! Euwe was World Champion 1935-1937!!!! *repeatedly bashing my hand with my fist* How could you be so clueless XD XD XD Ahhh... so good to be part of the gawking rabble crowd :)
hey Ben, this is your friend from Germany, remember? I wanna share some thoughts with you from which i know youre probably sharing. Did you by any chance see Levy from Gotham chess and how he explained how he makes the names of his opponents invisible in online chess and by that "making himself more couragious and confident, which often "results in a nice performance boosts that often helps him drawing or winning stronger GMs"? That made so much sense to me, i had to sleep over it. Did you ever had eye-contact with Levy or Hans Niemann? I had. Only on the monitor though. Which one looks more honest and sincere in your opinion? I feel like they both have something very trustworthy in their eyes. Wouldnt you agree?
do you see him answering comments? Be sure even if he would, he wont put himself in a bad position, by answering or even confirming implications as explosiv as these.
“In one of his chess books he was assisted by his son, Benjamin Fine…” .Technically, you can take 80% credit of the book by syllable. Also: why no comments, “This is Fine?” Terrible.
Reuben Fine aIso wrote a psychoIogicaI study about chess pIayers in GeneraI, as weII it is said that he psychoanaIyzed Bobby Fischer. Maybe if he came to treat him as a PsychoIogist after the 1972 match, Fischer wouId have been abIe to beat Karpow in 1975.
Psychologist chess player...sounds like cheating. Hypnosis midway through the opening and his opponent magically foes a Botez gambit. Very suspicious...
This is a great series considering nobody else is doing one like this
I dream of the day I can afford to sponsor a lecture and keep these masterpieces going… thanks Ben, cheers

Lectures are not particularly expensive, fyi
@@carlosaugusto3583wonder the same thing

You're like the premium version of Benjamin Fine
This comment deserves a Gold medal

OH BEN YOU ARE SO PERFICT
SO SPECTACULARRRR IN EVERY WAY
i agree
cordially
Very nice games! Thanks!
Fine was a notable psychoanalyst and psychologist. To think he also was a top ten grandmaster of all time on top of that is incredible!
I am considering upgrading my Benjamin Fine account to the Gold Subscription
I used to have a book on the AVRO tournament and played through all Fine's games. Super strong player and an interesting person.

Thanks Ben!!
Another fine lecture

Benjamin Finesilver approved.
I bet Fine was talented enough to become a WCC challenger. I base that on his results I saw when I was young.
Fine vs Fischer … better known as: Fine vs Not Fine
Did you get a new higher def camera? Can you go back to the old one?

I am confused
Very suspicious
Eat Knight 💩 😂

He may have been Reuben Fine, but he wasn't Reuben Finegold, the truth hurts.
Not a single Indigo Girls reference! Astonishing.
Yeee it's Ben! Go Ben!
Rubinstein, Reuben Fine, Bengold Fine.

31:41 hahahaha
Seems like Ben isn't payed by the hour anymore
Reuben Fine never won the US closed championship because of Samuel Reshevsky. Fine came 2nd to Reshevsky at least twice.
Fine is ben
Psychologist chess player...sounds like cheating. Hypnosis midway through the opening and his opponent magically foes a Botez gambit.
Very suspicious...
Go Fine-goldless
So much lip smacking, pretty distracting
Overly sensitive microphone
Fine, but not gold.
I'm Ben, he is Fine but I am fine too. No more such jokes, too bad.
Once again, every single you showed is famous. PLEASE find lesser known games.
These videos are meant as introductions for the gawking rabble on the internet. Idk where to turn for the more esoteric games
