Big up Stranjah, missed it live☹️ 50k soon bro & please don’t forget us old Jungle Headz that can’t do the Gram or TT because their kids think it’s cringe😋 Vital pack, bro, you got me✝️🌞✝️
I was struggling to design this sound this sound using a different synth. What I've noticed in the end is that the second oscillator (the synced one) needs more than just one voice. Giving it 5 voices with some unison detuning and widening did the trick. The VST in the video probably has that set up by default. Hope this helps others with the same issue. (I'm using the built-in Polysynth in Bitwig)
Yo stranjah any chance u could make a video on that old skool jump up sound Artists like TC, original sin, DJ hazard, clipz and taxman Like proper wobbly bassline a with wubs and heavy drums n stuff!
Hey! Thanks so much for this tutorial, I'm having a lot of fun following along. When I go to adjust the "pre low cut" amount in the Reverb , it's in semitones instead of frequency. Is there something I need to change for this to display the frequency cut off instead of semitones?
the chopping in recycle could do with more of a dive. breaks are not coming out right. maybe more of a focus on the exact parts to be able to follow along
Why does OSC Transpose go above 11 and then you have to fiddle with Phase Sync to move up octaves? It would make sense to have separate Transpose controls for octaves and semitones, or let Transpose go to infinity, instead of just 48. Then you could set it to 91 on OSC 2 to get the same effect, right?! Or really, it might be one field that would show 7.7 instead of 91 or something. It would make the intent clearer.
was wondering if you could maybe do a tutorial for the kind of wobbly bass on the track jigsaw by dj looney. been trying to figure it out and i just cant get the right sound. thanks :)
Very informative as usual. Thank you for uploading this. Just out of curiosity can this WUB bass be achieved using the same principle in Omnisphere? I mean I know it can be done, but what I'm getting at is is it done the same way no matter what synth used?
Good question, I will have to see, because Omnisphere ism ore of a "sample" player where it plays a bunch of recordings, I know there is a synthesis section, but it is pretty limited.
Thanks! That was really helpful. I love that type of bass & glad that I can make it with my own hands now. Could you tell if there's sort of manual that would provide the certain amount of SYNC to match octaves? Looks like it gets really messy the higher you go. I was able to tune these: 1 - 50 2 - 62 3 - 70 4 - 75 5 - 79 6 - 82 7 - 85 8 - 87.5 9 - 89.5 10 - 91.5 11 - 12 - 16 - 100 But I'm still not sure if they're 100% accurate. I've heard one needs to use fine tune to match it perfectly. I'm confused, any manuals would be appreciated.
I've been neglecting producing lately, but this has kinda inspired me again. Did you create some of the presets for F-em by Tracktion? If so it might make a good stream series on how to create wubs etc on F-em. thanks :)
I've been messing with Photone presets for years trying to replicate that "Game Over" wobble. I really want some thick, subdued analog wubs, but I can't figure it out.
for some reason as soon as i turn the distortion effect on, i'll start to get clicking in between notes either when i press the keys too fast or if i click the midi notes into my daw. followed the video exactly, anyone have any ideas?
What kind of WUB are you? 😄

Gotta love modulating that drive on Vital! :P
i love how calm you explain it and show all the little creative variations. really sparks creativity and makes learning more fun
great WUB !!! But how do they get it to hit the speaker sooo hard? Like I would love to see Ravenscoon's fx chain or EXCISION's fx chain
Doing gods work as usual mate! 😊 🙏
how to remove clipping and pops in Vital????..please make video.
Okay
i second this. Great video as always Stranjah
Yo, I think I figured it out.
Is the filter which you've assigned to LFO1 set at Analog -12 or- 24?
Try putting it to -12 and see if that helps
Wicked tutorial as usual Stranjah👍🏾👍🏾. Of topic, what headphones are you using?. Cheers
AIAIAI TMA-2 Studio headphones, sounds warm and fun to produce on!
@@STRANJAH thanks mate... I ordered some dt 990's last night but might send them back and order what you use 👍🏾
@@punkarse100 I have both, good for different purposes. DT's for mixing, mastering, but AIAIAI for producting, because they're more fun and warm.

Awesome video, ty. How long does it take to get free sample pack in the mail?
Should be immediate. Check junk mail
@@STRANJAH thanks for the feedback.
sample pack got into spam: D
Looking 4ward to the pack. If i was a vital user. Maybe do both platforms? I know vital is free but i bought serum so i want my moneys worth 😂
Get both, because they're both slightly different, more power to you if you can use the both!
Thank you for all you do! You do tutorials for everything I want to know…

What is the difference of using the sync function instead of just pitching it up 7 octaves?
No difference but some synths don't allow you to go up that high
@@STRANJAH alright thanks 🙏🏻

@@STRANJAH I was under the impression that omnisphere is a very advanced synth just not as streamlined
Any synth that can do wavetable or fm can do wubs
That was awesome!
Overcompensating with your microphone hey? 🤣

Could you tell if there's sort of manual that would provide the certain amount of SYNC to match octaves? Looks like it gets really messy the higher you go.
I was able to tune these:
1 - 50
2 - 62
3 - 70
4 - 75
5 - 79
6 - 82
7 - 85

But I'm still not sure if they're 100% accurate. I've heard one needs to use fine tune to match it perfectly. I'm confused, any manuals would be appreciated.
Don't think there's a manual, but what you did there really helps!
@@STRANJAH Thank you for the answer!
Thank you for sharing this knowledge. Playing with synths is fun right?!
LFO bulb bass in vital please
Anyway you can make a tutorial for really deep atmos bass? Something Like Solace - Interspace
