So...after watching this vid for the 30th time, I can establish that this beauty earns the title of 'Best boat on youtube'....size, layout, capability, functionality...... I keep saying to myself: some day...some day...I'll be able to steal one...
rumbo77 nah, this boat doesn’t take the title of best boat. Look up the Ulysses. It has another yacht in its bow lol. It’s my favorite expedition yacht
Bryce Nelson Andromada is my favorite yatch, but this one isn't bad for under $7 million. Andromada sold for $200 million and the cost of running it would be 10% of the original cost, so probably somewhere between $20-30 million a year just to run it. This one is more practical for just a few people wanting to explore.
I agree. If you can own only one vessel, this is the one. Small enough to get into some en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog-hole_ports, big enough for Transpacific. Enough crew to leave the owner to relax or pitch in as they might choose.
Whenever I return to this, after viewing larger, flasher yachts, it looks even better each time! The way the main deck space is utilised is so well thought out...
Really seems like going any bigger than this is simply showing off doesn't it. Even in my wildest fantasies I have a hard time imagining running anything larger that this.
It is not bad. Maybe ocean sounds instead of overpowering music. It'd be nice to see how she handles rough seas. Stats displayed on screen would help those, like myself, who like details. I'd like more about the anti-piracy system. It's an impressive boat and a good intro to her.
Bryce William I take it you do not work for Dennison Yacht Sales. poor guys trying to make a living selling this beautiful boat and you just have to come along and poop on their livelihood. wonderful job mate. would a compliment have been that difficult. where's thumper when you need him.
If you watch this channel and you always think afterwards there is something special about the video your not alone! Is it the boat? Is it the editing? Is it the music? No its the passion Denison have for every yacht they sell and this one is magnificent! The thing i love most about this vessel has to be the sky lounge! I always wonder why so many builders only put enough minimal seating across from the pop up tv! On a 4 state room yacht there is only enough seats for 6 to watch instead of 8! But this yacht has nailed what i call a saloon! You could fit 15 people to lounge in style! Even alot of builders make the galley and dianette bigger than the saloon! For me the saloon is were most time will be used so make it the biggest area on board! If your in the market for a yacht you must consider going through Denison! Its clear for all to see the love they put into every video and you can be assured they will put the same passion into finding and selling you the yacht of your dreams! Love and happy sailing to all!⚓🛳
I'd have to question your statement that the Bering 80 has better range. My research indicates that the CdM 86 has a range of 7000nm at 8.5 knots, whilst the link you posted indicates a vague 6000nm range without stating the speed. Generally speaking a heavier yacht will consume more, so your comment that the Bering is "twice the weight" also calls into question the statement about range. In any case, the biggest issue for an owner is fuel consumption...data that this video supplied very well indeed.
The Bering 80 is 220 metric tons at full load, so why suggest it has twice the weight? If you were unlucky enough to be hit by a 70 - 110 ft rogue wave in the 86, what are the chances of staying afloat and would there be any warning given by the radar system?
If you are in conditions that are generating 50+ foot waves, your captain has failed in his course/weather plotting for a multi million dollar yacht. That said, if you are in rough conditions expect to close all windows and water tight doors. The yacht has a LOT of freeboard. it may not be the most comfortable ride, but unless it broaches completely odds are it's going to bounce back. One of those important questions to ask when purchasing an "Expedition" yacht is, what is it's "Point of vanishing stability" and where is the center of gravity or how many degrees of roll can it take before it goes belly up. If it has a full load of fuel and a full load of water, all below the waterline, and the watertight integrity of the upper decks are maintained, I'd bee willing to bet that this even if it did roll over would pop back up.
I have just bought my 3rd boat from CdM...The best.. I have gone up to a world touring 111 footer. I am very grateful..This is my home and not a toy. I am leaving Iceland in the morning and will be in Brazil in 3 weeks...Please dream. they come true if you dream hard...Capt Dutch.
Can't stop watching this video...I have seen many boat videos, still keep coming back to this one.. the best boat ever. If I ever win any lottery money this will be my purchase.👍
190 Tons! For 25 years I have held a 100 Ton Near Coastal License. Most of the vessels I operate are around 65' coastal cruising yachts. What an incredible vessel. No carpet is truly a great choice. Just put new carpets in a boat I assist with and after two days on anchor at Catalina Island it's dirty. Great video of an incredible vessel.

I really wouldn't mind if you wasted my time with all the details. Consider an hour or two video and show the boat while making a trip. I volunteer to help.
I think a small group to do a full review would be helpful. Spend 4 months or so on the boat doing real world cruising, review every system, general comfort etc. Buyers need to know these things. I, like you, would be willing to sacrifice my time to help out.
Now we just need to figure out how to get them to pay us for doing an invaluable, in depth review. lol Seriously though, I agree, I would love a longer video with all the details. I would even be interested enough to watch construction details. If Denison questions how much publicity a longer video could get them, I would like to point out that the Nordhavn delivery video has over 270,000 views.
This boat is amazing. Thank you for sharing what is a very, very special boat that I will consider for my dream of exploring this AWESOME planet. You offer your perspective with the spirit of service and reverence to those interested in the commitment of ownership. Thank you! ❤️🙏💚🌍💚🙏❤️
The Pilothouse is breathtaking! I love the rich woods and panoramic windows. The main living space I would warm up with different colours and furnishings. Beautiful boat; A REAL boat! BTW, this was an exceptional presentation, visually and audibly.

@Daniel G: While I agree that it's a great yacht, I disagree with the dismissiveness of the last sentence. Even Jeanneau 349 at 122,000 euro won't "flip over when it meets a rainstorm". Or any boat half that price. Or ANY boat really. The days when the build-quality of yachts was measured in seaworthiness have been over for at least 60 years. The MUCH more important question these days is how comfortable YOU will be while your boat isn't flipping over in a rainstorm.
Wow that is a work of art. If I ever hit the lotto , I have to flip a coin between this one or the allseas. Both steel hulls both beautiful. Wouldn't be a plastic nordhavn. The people who built this boat should be proud.
B maloney are you aware that modern "plastic" hulls as you call them are lighter and several times stronger than steel? Oh, and much less maintenance as well.
That's why you won't see the coast guard or working boats in the bearing sea or anywhere in the world using fiberglass (plastic) hulls. I've worked on to many fiberglass boats. I know better..and at 450deg they burn..they have there place for sure. Just not in the middle of the ocean...
B maloney I’m talking about modern fiber reinforced composite construction. Not a 70’s bass boat. Say what you like, but the science is clear and so are the facts. Modern composite hulls are much stronger, lighter, and far less maintenance. Steel may be the traditional material for larger boats, but modern materials are superior. It’s called progress. FRP is longer lasting, waterproof, corrosion proof, and can be formed into more complex shapes.
Denison Yachting I thought this boat was built by CdM in Ancona? I have seen a lot of your videos, and I must say that I have fallen for the Darwin and the «Mitzu» She is totaly insane!
This is a spectacular yacht. And this is - by far - the best video walkthough of a yacht i've seen. Well done! I hope you find a buyer that will take this beauty around the world! It truly deserves to stretch it's legs...
This yacht is just perfect ... range is insane... if I was set off financially with the funds to run a ship like this I would buy it... best choice out there even with other more modern and space looking yacths...great design 👍👍👍
By load, they are talking about how hard the engines are turning, not the amount of cargo on the ship. 100% load means the engines running at max, which will guzzle fuel. 30% of total capacity is practically idle for large Diesel engines like these, sipping fuel.
What a pleasant surprise, to see a yacht's interior that isn't the usual, overboard decoration like a high class brothel. A rescued refugee wouldn't ogle, but just be subtly impressed...
Yeah, I changed my mind from an opulent motoryacht to one of these when I learned of the massive difference in non-stop travel distances, I just need that lottery win!
Wow she's stunning and the range is amazing and she's definitely in the size range that you don't need a crew I won't have a crew on board anything under 90 feet so I think I'd definitely run her without a crew. I mostly likey would have an engineer on board if I was crossing the sea but coast hugging I'd definitely have no crew. If I had the money I'd rip your arm off for this incredible boat ⛴. Hope the new owner has years of experience with her.
Nice boat for the same class and almost the exact same style I'd go for the slightly longer 95 foot Jade yacht which has an a garage big enough for a 15 foot run about and two jet skis.
I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground from not only this yacht but this detailed tour. One of the best narrative tours I’ve seen. No need to see inside every closet and every storage compartment. I assume this one is sold already....
As my aunt use to say " I wonder what the poor people are doing " ? When i got a little older (10 yrs. old ) i said to myself I'M POOR .... She was talking about the poor side of the family .... But she was always nice to us kids. And would take us for a week each summer.. To Yacht, swim, golf and riding horses ..... My point is, if you want nice things pay attention in school or be the daughter or son of the owner of a trucking empire
Leonard R except boat are way more expensive than houses when you get into the big boats. You can buy a 3k sqft home for 750k, you can buy a boat like this for 3-5 million new.
A truly seaworthy vessel for real adventures - that's my kind of boat! Great video, too (and I think it could've been longer - there's so much more to learn about this wonderful vessel)
I think the anti-pirating system won't let you download music illegally. For sure it will block any episode of Seinfeld where they talk like pirates. Or maybe it just stops you from multiplying everything by 3.14.
...really awesome boat... i've ever dreamt 'bout something like this... BUT; at this price, 2017... why are there NO solar-panels all about the free space above, no wind- and wave/stream generators to power up the system? save more fuel...? ...at this innovative point of such a great vessel - 2017; i'd reeeeaally expect the most possible ways for regenerative energy as possible!!! :(
You make a great point. Keep in mind that this boat (like every Cantiere delle Marche) is completely custom... Meaning the owner of Stella delle Nord had the final say over every minute detail of the boat. These simply weren't HIS priorities. But it doesn't mean that the shipyard couldn't outfit the boat with technologies like that. It all comes down to what the owner wants...
When you have a ship of this size, with the freezers, ac unites, and other electric using things on board, solar would be a waste, because the generators would have to be running 24/7 anyway, so solar wouldn't be needed..
You obivously have no idea what solar technology has come to these days. In fact with an area the size of the flybridge (a permanent cover on it) Could provide enough energy during the day to not even need to run the generators for daily operations.
It is a beautiful yacht, but it does not seem to be very powerful, which impairs its cruising speed by only 10kts (19km/h). despite having a rang of 7000nm@8.5kts, it is impossible to carry resources for so many days at sea. so it would be better balanced 3500nm and a cruise of at least 15kts-18kts.
Actually we've seen owners of full displacement boats like this do both; and you'd be surprised how easy it is to store provisioning for this long. These boats are designed for just that type of trip.
Dirk Diggler I wonder if it works as well as those light switches that only turn on when someone is using the bathroom. At one store I used to go to, the light would turn off before I was even done peeing. Does the yacht captain have to wave his arms around all the time? 😂
I love It in these videos that they point out 60inch TV and brands of kitchen equipment like Miele when the fukkin yacht sets you back 10-20Million. Yeah..the prefitted TV and Kitchen is the least of my concern for wallet bang for buck!
One of my favorite yachts. Perfect size, great layout. Exceptional design, simple and elegant. CdM gets a gold star in my book.
Couldn't agree more!
No lie I've come back to this video probably 20+ times
No lie... we love hearing this.
That's crazy, I've only watched it about 12 times.
Same!
Now I'm up to 15 times. I'm gaining on you.
Judge Dredd I’m at about 8, maybe more, but I not counting.

of all the yacht videos of Denison ive binged - this was my favourite! seen it so many times
This is an extremely well conceived video presentation,
I would recommend you guys give lessons to other RUclips yacht video makers. Thank you.
Exactly what I wanted to say.
both yacht and video expertly crafted.
I agree. Def one of best explainer videos I have seen.
@@jeremywhiteley I suspect the product placement money from Miele and Samsung helped up the budget for video production ;-)

Who's idea was it to show the movie Titanic on the flat screens?
I had the same sinking feeling...
I believe the captain was asked to put a "nautical" movie on...
Maybe not the best choice, but it sure makes that TV look great! :)
That would have been a good time to point out watertight bulkheads.
should have put on the scene in wolf of wall street where the yacht is "in some chop"
It's a running subtle joke in these tourer videos.
Gorgeous and functional, one of the finest expedition yachts I have seen in any size.

a lot of yachts sacrifice function for style. But this looks sturdy, well built.

Definately professionally executed.
One the best explainer videos I have seen.
So, if you're going to need that kind of range, you're probably going to have a "100% load." This begs the question: what is her range fully-laden?
good question we'll try to find out.
Approx 5500 nautical miles fully loaded
By load, they are talking about how hard the engines are turning, not the amount of cargo on the ship. 100% load means the engines running at max, which will guzzle fuel. 30% of total capacity is practically idle for large Diesel engines like these, sipping fuel.
Great walkthrough I like to see the boat moving

As my aunt use to say " I wonder what the poor people are doing " ? When i got a little older (10 yrs. old ) i said to myself I'M POOR .... She was talking about the poor side of the family .... But she was always nice to us kids. And would take us for a week each summer.. To Yacht, swim, golf and riding horses ..... My point is, if you want nice things pay attention in school or be the daughter or son of the owner of a trucking empire
I miss you aunt Mae : )
:)
It's really comforting to know that you're playing titanic on a multi-million dollar yacht!
:)
I would live on this yacht and travel the world.
Monk LoHan
So would I. Good bye land, hello open ocean!
This is the type of yacht I'm wanting. Enough range that I'll never have to worry about it.
Someday I will buy it.
yes... and lets do this!
Absolutely Stunning - had to watch this three times in a row. Too fancy for me, but good lord she's gorgeous!
I wish you did “waste my time” going through all the details!
That is a good looking boat. Love the hardwood floors
Screw houses, I'll get one of these instead.
Leonard R except boat are way more expensive than houses when you get into the big boats. You can buy a 3k sqft home for 750k, you can buy a boat like this for 3-5 million new.
@@hobo3hobo354 In Tulsa, Oklahoma, a 3.3k sq ft. home is around 330K brand new!
Guys, it's a joke.
@@hobo3hobo354 not where I live. 3k square feet is like 2.5 million
blewyd where tf do you live
Simple and useful. Well done presentation compared to others.
Glad you liked it... seriously THNAK YOU.
@@DenisonYachting thank you back. Wish nothinh back but great sales for you guys.
Yep. Still in my "recommended videos". Nearly 80% of the time.
seriously okay thats not a huge problem :)
A truly seaworthy vessel for real adventures - that's my kind of boat! Great video, too (and I think it could've been longer - there's so much more to learn about this wonderful vessel)
started laughing when i saw titanic playing 😂
Explorer/Expedition yachts are the most fun; they could boldly go anywhere.
What does the anti pirating system do?
I'd like to know that myself. What the dose it do???
It's a swarm of drones with lasers.
Hidden gun safe.
laser sharks.
I think the anti-pirating system won't let you download music illegally.
For sure it will block any episode of Seinfeld where they talk like pirates.
Or maybe it just stops you from multiplying everything by 3.14.
I love this boat, I’ve probably seen this video 9-10 times. Haven’t won the lottery yet.
She is a stunning boat. We are so glad you love her. We have our fingers crossed for you.
I thought my father and I cut all the elm trees and burnt them in our wood stove when I was growing up........I see we missed some.
Dream yacht right there. Near perfection
...really awesome boat... i've ever dreamt 'bout something like this...
Perfeito, muito bem distribuído, bonito, prático e ótimo acabamento. Adorei!
This is my dream yacht, period.
I'm just a hillbilly. ..
But DAAMMM! An alarm that tells you if nobody is there
:) ha!
cornskid That doesn't work so well if you're from the Ozarks. lol
Dirk Diggler I wonder if it works as well as those light switches that only turn on when someone is using the bathroom. At one store I used to go to, the light would turn off before I was even done peeing. Does the yacht captain have to wave his arms around all the time? 😂
No boat - this is a ship! I want to be rich and live on this whilst sailing the world. Wow best most practical boat I've seen.
I love It in these videos that they point out 60inch TV and brands of kitchen equipment like Miele when the fukkin yacht sets you back 10-20Million.
Yeah..the prefitted TV and Kitchen is the least of my concern for wallet bang for buck!
hahaha you'd be surprised how many people want to know the brands of that stuff. :)
The "expedition" design of yacht is my favorite style.
Nelk!!🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥
@nelk
Very impressive 👏
Indeed she is! Cheers! 😁 🙌
I drive a ford transit
we MIGHT be able to take that on trade....
