I'm blown away by how well that works, how much bandwidth were you using? I assume you're using the hardware for the DATV express, I've been playing with the limeSDR mini and the DATV express software in DVB-S and DVB-S2 modes. Obviously 1.2 GHz isn't going to prop like VHF will but I'm looking to see what results I can get.
About 400KHz (333Ks) around 5W to 7/8 vertical antenna. Fortunately the drive home can be a very rural route, it does not work as well in built up areas!
