Man Q is a legend, been following his career for such a long time, the dudes always been funny as hell, good to see him get the flowers he deserves
What I love about Q he openly shares he thinks he sucks at rapping and proceeds to make great music
Q spitting some real game. Doing “80” verses for one song is insane. Even working through 4 bars just to get it right… Shows his method of perfection and not trying to do this shit half ass. Big respect.
As an artist, it do be like this. You always have that need to make your words better. It’s always “oh I can say it like this instead of like that” then it’ll lead to re writing the whole song from scratch.
Night and day between that and mumbling some bullshit in one take and being like 'yeh cool, go with that'
That description of kendrick just sounds so accurate to the reality of what it takes to be someone like him

He done a hell of a lot more than kendrick since 2010. Last time I actually enjoyed a kendrick album was section 80 and good kid maad city. To pimp a butterfly and miles and the big steppers or whatever the fuck it was called were trash albums that were painful to listen to at times. DAMN was ok but fairly mid. Schoolboy been fire since habits and contradictions. Oxymoron major classic. Blank face major classic. Crash talk kinda mid but decent. Blue lips classic
