I just made something almost exactly like this, only thing I did different is after drilling the hole for the blade I sawed in about 1/4 of a inch so the wood base its attached to would be tighter around the blade for better accuracy, not sure if it helps though

...wie sagt Izzy Swan zu so einem Projekt? "quick and dirty" yeah, super gemacht, einfach, schnell, mal eben, und: SOFORT EINSATZBEREIT !!! klasse. ( was mir auch noch sehr gut gefallen hat, die Musik hat zum Inhalt GEPASST ! etwas was bei RUclips sehr sehr selten vorkommt.

Isn't it dangerous to use jig saw like that? What if the blade is broke and fly around?

Not really, as compared to say a band saw (yes band saw blades break). However, its just more dangerous than using in the normal fashion; that is the blade is exposed to your hands while as a hand-tool its below the work surface.

go to settings at bottom right, select speed, it works
