Even In Danganronpa Summer Camp, Mukuro is happy to choose her friends and her own future over Junko which I always found weird that Mukuro would be happy without her, but still obeys Junko
@Cryptic GothGeek so weird the games have never really shown that aspect of her until a v3 event with her and Junko and even then it wasn't as extreme as the anime
It wouldn't be the first time the anime contradicted previous material, to be fair.
@@11th-lemon The anime never really fully contradicted the games, just exaggerated the Mukuro thing
@@shuichisaihope398 I guess it depends on wheter you consider danganronpa if canon or not. Even though it obviously didn't happen, I consider canon that Ikusaba would have reacted that way if she had survived her murder attempt.
Considering everything that happened in the anime, it's extremely weird that Ikusaba would be so shocked when Enoshima attacked her, and not understand the reason.
@@11th-lemon Kodaka did confirm that every work outside the games is canon too. So yeah, IF is canon just set in a different universe
Honestly, during the unused ending, Naegi leaving the academy just sounds like: “Danganronpa 1 Any% Speedrun”
Seeing Chihiro and Mukuro survive>>>>>>
Danganronpa If is the real ending, idc what anyone says
Mukuro underrated
the deaths were fake and everyone lived 🥰

I feel like Taka's dream of being a farmer somewhat makes sense considering that his childhood made him hate those considered 'geniuses' who don't understand the importance of hard work
Since farming takes a lot of hard work and discipline, I can see him going on this path as farming is beneficial to everyone and requires a lot of work, and therefore would be quite satisfactory for someone like Taka who deeply values hard work and (at least from my interpretation of his talent and FTEs that he really enjoys helping others - I'd see a moral compass as encouraging to others to be the best versions of them) he'd really like the fact that he'd be helping the world by providing people with good food.
I also think growing up around government corruption (I think that's what his FTEs were saying, don't remember fully) would lead him away from anything leader/politically based due to the downfall of his (father or grandfather I can't remember) which is what I'd think of someone considered the Ultimate Moral Compass doing in an attempt to prevent corruption
I actually.. like this ending quite a bit! It adds a nice perspective on the og ending and the characters in general, and kinda leaves you wondering what would it actually look like seeing all the characters in their new pursed goals/careers, it is also interesting how the characters(at least what it seems like to me) are not really giving up hope, rather they're original dreams to follow another. Instead of being quite sad or bothered they won't have they're talent anymore, they are happy to still be in pursuit of something good(some more than others, being able to follow their real dream)
Yeah me too! I like this idea too!
It's a bit hard to see Junko accepting that she's created "true despair" because the characters lose their talents. Some of them didn't actually like their talents and others had random talents that it's hard to see how you "lose". Byakuya's the heir of a really rich family , for instance - it's not as if they're going to not leave him a fortune because he escaped from a death game.
Well, his entire family should have been dead at that point.
Well, what worth is there to their fortune when the world as we knew it has ended. Byakuya is a capable person though, despite being an ass, and he is well learned in various fields, so it is true that he is still in a good position regardless.
Not to mention Byakuya actually won his position of heir with skills. He is already rich by himself without said family help, and his fortune was all because he wanted to "play" in day trading. Even if he was disinherited, he still can create an empire of his own by nothing without a sweat
5:07 that‘s probably a reference to Gosho Aoyamas Kaitou Kid, a gentleman thief magician who steals gems seemingly as a sport, always returning them after (because the one gem he‘s really searching for hasn‘t turned up yet…)
As someone who loves Hagekure's character, him just going, "Oh, OK. I'll do.. something?" Great stuff, honestly, and the off-putting moment with Mondo feels.. like, while it is a depressing thought, I think it's good, to have one of the characters acknowledge that even in this scenario who these people were before is still going to affect who they choose to become.
Mukuro becoming a hairdresser makes sense in that they can influence how models are depicted. Mukuro is currently pretending to be Junko and doing her best to impersonate her, so it makes sense that she'd think of something like that. You could go one step further and claim that this is a sign that Mukuro wants to be in a position where she has either the ability to exert control over Junko or serve her in a direct and peaceful manner.
Babe wake up, Mitchy Newz just posted.
April fools moment
Amazing simply amazing
Funny goofy moment happened here

I'll be honest; if I ever met a politician who grew tasty agricultural, I would vote for them.
Also, Mondo could still lead the Crazy Diamonds as a carpenter company, that way he can have his cake and eat it too.
Lastly, Mufumi's thing is a Lupin III movie reference
So basically Mondo reforms his biker gang into a construction crew for hire...to be honest that's the most realistic a former Ultimate biker gang leader should do since Mondo clearly cares for his fellow biker members and if being honest aren't there actually carpentry programs in prisons in real life?
I think it's super interesting that they all have these alternate plans, and those who don't will "figure it out". Something that is pretty common in Danganronpa is the idea of first impressions being misleading, so when we are first introduced to these characters, they come with this label on them, telling us what we should expect of them, what they are like, what they are good at, but what we end up learning over the course of the game is how they came to have that label attached to them in the first place, and it is often the case that the label is just that, a label, their experiences, viewpoints and skills can serve them in various ways beyond those predetermined by their "talents", and they all have their own interests that often diverge from their assigned professions, which may have led them down a different path anyway.
I think it's important to remember that they are still people, even if some of them have outlandish abilities, their futures are theirs to create, they are not predetermined by what a school decides, and I think this secret ending emphasizes that very well. It's kinda like... the Dangaronpa 2 ending in Dangaronpa 1, "we'll make the best out of our future regardless of who we are and what the world is like".
The one thing I don't like about that ending, is that the twist at the end -- that it was all Makoto's dream, and that he is going home instead -- kind of... discards... the whole thing? Plus Makoto going home means that they just fail the trials at some point and that's that. I guess that's what Monokuma meant, in that it's "true despair" in some meta sense, but to me it's just a big "meh", that part doesn't really do anything narratively interesting and I like the ending better without it. It's like if someone wrote an interesting short story and then went "ah... just kidding!" at the end because they didn't feel confident enough about it, I dunno.
Also I love your sprites in this Weeby! They suit your personality and appeareance so well!
I actually found this ending by mistake when I searched for Danganronpa Another by LINUJ, I'm surprised that it isn't more popular. Especially as it sheds a little more light on Mukuro's character.
Makoto seems afraid of Junko escaping the fate she’s being presented in the thumbnail
Or this is his plan to save everyone and he’s terrified of it being found on the internet
"True despair is the idea that the story itself never happened"
Danganronpa V3: 👁👄👁
i feel like the mukuro hairdresser thing makes sense because junko's talent was all about being beautiful and hairdressing helps make others beautiful and she wants to do that as she clearly loved her sister more than anything so she wants to make people like her so she is still alive
This ending had a lot more going for it than I thought! All this time I thought it was just the students giving up their talents and then pressing the button to open the door, having no idea about their plans for the future. I gotta say that in just a few cases it did make sense for all of that to be a dream Makoto was having; I mean, farmer Ishimaru and hairdresser Mukuro? That sounds like a weird dream to me.
Imagine upon doing a 100% of V3 Spike Chunsoft programmed a save data detection system that would play out this ending if you ever went back to THH.
That would hit so hard.
Mukuro Ikusaba, the 16th Student, lying hidden somewhere in this school… the one they call the Ultimate Despair, Watch out for her."
Given how it is with most soldiers wanting a calm/normal life after being in the military, not surprising that she would want to do something like being a hair stylist.
I also think it makes sense, how everything plays out with her. She always wanted to live a normal life, but felt stuck to her sister’s side, because she’s loyal and obedient. She is the ultimate soldier, aka, she’s the ultimate at taking orders. It just felt natural for her to listen to her sister, over her own dreams, because that is quite literally what it means to be a soldier.
It’s nice though, that in this version, her ultimate is gone and she’s be able to live a life free from the burden of taking orders/following her sister
Maybe monokuma calls it "true despair" because the Makoto, ultimate hope, gives up on Hopes Peak
Ishimaru is giving major Kellogg trying to combat sexual depravity with cornflakes vibes. (Not a joke, Kellogg's genuinely tried to do that by inventing cornflakes, it's wild)
I kinda wished this was an OVA it be a neat "what if" scenario type of deal
Maybe look into Danganronpa If
It's a novel inside the first game about Makoto remembering everything before the first victim and how everyone survive
Really interesting because it shows alot about Mukuro
@@Nash_Aoi oh heck yeah I am gonna look into that now
i believe hifumi is referencing the manga "magic thief kaito" the precursor to the manga "detective conan"
I feel like Mondo Was just like talking to his brother’s ghost as if his brother was talking to him in his head. I seen some characters “talk” to a death sibling through their head, and Mondo could just live a good life, and Mondo was just talking to his brother’s ghost who was asking him to do something for him like “say good bye to the gang” and he just responded out loud. That is my more light hearted interpretation
I feel like the line about how this ending is meant to show that true despair is the world of danganronpa never existing is what V3’s ending was attempting to convey to the player
I find it kind of sad that Toko will probably never meet Kumaru.
*Komaru.
We need a movie animation for this alternate ending
Honestly alternative endings especially for Danganronpa are definitely interesting idea ( assuming there done in a way that doesn’t make
The canon story confusing )
And I do personally like this ending a bit more the the alternative ending to v3 ( again in my opinion )
What’s the alternate ending for V3
@@loumxii.o3524 Spoliers kinda ahead :
it’s where all the students escape the tunnel in chapter one
There should be a few videos on it
yamada's resolution might be an allusion to Magic Kaito, but that's possibly a stretch
love you weeby, you make my day brighter ❤
An ending where Taka lives is an SSS+ ending. Shouldve been canon 🥱
I always just figured the ending being "true despair" referred to how in the end Makoto didn't attend Hope's Peak meaning he'd never be able to defeat Junko and she would win in the end. Your interpretation is pretty interesting though, true despair is none of it ever happening
Oh hell yeah !! This is going to be amazing..
im so happy you covered this. i also heard this about a long time ago as well.
bodybuilder chihiro ftw
I didn't even know this was a thing
Now I want this to be the Canon ending.... ;-; I want Mukuro to live... 😭😭 I want them all to live...
I think I have heard about this ending before , but it's still cool that you make a video about this :D
any ending where chihiro doesn’t die is my cannon ending.
Real.
Talk about danganronpa if
Fanfics where all the danganronpa characters live
Have so much potential-
Another end is definitely a strange one but i like that we got it with the dr3 blu rays instead of never seeing it
I definitely like this ending, because I don't want to see my favorite characters die again.
Don't know if this will be noticed due to being late to the party. Someone may have said to already. But Hifumi's could be a reference towards the anime Magic Kaito 1412. The anime follows a character that uses "magic" to steal jewels. It would fit for him being a self insert for a story involving the stealing of jewels looking for one that brings eternal life.
I love Byakuya so much XD "I'm literally perfect."
I’m the 500
We all loves you ❤️💗💓💗❤️😌☺️🤗
Loved the video Weeby!
Imagine the Danganronpa 2 cast having a “true ending” like this! If only they had a way to escape the Neo World Program…
Not sure about the reference Hifumi gave, but it reminds me of Kaitou Jeanne or Kaitou Saint Tail. Both of those series feature a magical girl transforming into a thief to "steal" treasured items. They aren't really heartless and selfish thieves but steal for the good, like Robin Hood.
OR
Kaitou kid, I haven't watched that. He's also part of the detective Conan series.
Out of thise three only Jeanne uses real magic, the others are more like magicians doing tricks like pulling a rabbit out of a hat.
holy shit you have the best fan made danganronpa sprite I've ever seen, who made it?
Hifumi: I am Hifumi Yamada, the Ultimate Rouge the Bat!
Cool new upload
For a moment I thought this was an actual easter egg that I didn't know had existed for years. I even reopened the game to check it.
I'm glad it wasn't implemented, though. It felt out of character for everyone, giving up their talent so easily before even knowing their situation. Especially for Maizono. Also, making everything "just a dream" is also cliche and Naegi giving up hope is also out of character for him. I prefer danganronpa if.
Your analysis was good, you made the ending sound way better like that. But I just can't get over how ooc it was.
Ehh, I am glad this ending wasn’t used. We got some more story. Some of this felt like a joke more than a perfect ending.
I think one important thing to note about the ending being referred to as “true despair” is that Makoto just leaves. He never gets to reunite with Sayaka, or meet any of his classmates. If the killing game still existed within this universe, then the class would essentially be screwed without Makoto/the player being there to crack the mysteries. It would likely lead to a killer getting away or them failing the trial, because they don’t have the Ultimate Hope with them.
Mukuro is underrated and amazing
I feel like he really wanted to make death an integral part of the Danganronpa series so it was removed.
LOVE U WEEBY
While watching this i for some reason came up with my own alternate ending that may happen after sayaka dies, my idea was that when mukuro gets killed by monokuma instead she somehow dodges it and monokuma isn’t allowed to try again even though it failed then mukuro is like “you b!tch you tried to kill me” and she stomps away and comes back with the escape switch like she just killed junko and then they all leave (except sayaka i guess because she died before mukuro)
Could Hifumi's be a reference to Kaito Kid from Detective Conan/Magic Kaito? Kaito Kid is a magician phantom thief who steals gems, and Conan's voice actor *is* in DR!
I never watched your videos enough but your just so fun to watch!! I'm also working on a danganronpa fangame.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty certain what Hifumi was referring to is a reference related to Kaitou Kid, a well-known character in the anime series Detective Conan, even starring in his own anime named “Magic Kaito” as the main protagonist, where he goes around stealing all kinds of gems using magic tricks. Pretty neat reference if so!
A thief who uses "magic" to steal gems reminds me of Kaito Kid aka Magic Kaito.
Hi Weeby Newz I love this and I hope you have a good day and you are awesome
Makuros is a reference to you don't mess with the Zohan. Israeli super soldier wants to quit and be a hairdresser
I could have saved her.... I COULD HAVE SAVED HER 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 the fact this ending went unused is true despair 1:39
Imagine the DR2, DR3 and V3 characters having to give up their talents to survive.
What do you think would be their reaction?
Haberdashery
I hope weeby will watch dra+sdra 2 hunger games simulator part 3
Fourth to comment and I’m excited to see this I see no one talk about this
Alright. Let me clear this up. In the Hifumi portion, he says he will become a theif and steal gems with his magic. That's a reference to the "Phantom Thief" trope in manga, popularized by the 1998 manga written by Arina Tanemura called Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (Divine Wind Phantom Thief Jeanne). A Phantom Thief is someone who fights for righteousness by fighting evil and stealing the items that corrupt the minds of people. And if anyone is wondering, yes this also influenced Persona 5's Creation.
Huh who’s this? Isn’t this the person that keeps on getting killed in executions?
Yup
Hafumi is he doing dnd Irl 🤣
I think Mondos ending is sad but less he will unalive himself but he get killed by the gang
I think hifumi is implying he'll become a phantom their like 20 faces, kaitou kid etc. It might not be a stretch cuz, ranpo (writer of 20 faces) has had a massive impact in Japanese literature even tho the writing is heavily inspired by Sherlock Holmes and aresene lupin. Like fanfic writing similar to his ultimate. Hifumi wants to become a character of doujinshi! Maybe
hifumi wanting to become a thief and steal gems:
me remembering kokichi's love hotel scene🤣
...Of fucking course Hifumi is going to say that, Gawd Damn it!
People who could have survived
Kiyotaka and Leon kuwata
Chihiro escaped... my dreams become true
idk who's idea it was for the "Bad ending" but i think that needs to be retconned, i dont care that its a hypothetical its too horrifying...
I saw a video on a RUclips channel that kind of made up a situation that would be before everybody escapes
Howdyyy 👋
Hmm yes lore momentum of dangarompa 100
Hifumi meant video game
Cool
An ending where all my favourite characters survive? Give me a reason to not like this ending!
I might be in the minority here, but I'm not sure I would have liked this ending. Makoto deciding he's not cut out to live among his betters and just leaving rubs me the wrong way, and is kind of antithetical to how in the main game he's the one who pulls the others through despite being outwardly unassuming when compared to the other Ultimates.
I do enjoy the shout-out to 999, though. Zero Escape games have never gotten the recognition I feel they deserved.
i think Hifumi is alluding to Kaito Kid?
Is it weird that I know what Hifumi is talking about.
Sakura could end up being a monk.
Yamada and kaito Kid have the same Japanese VA.
5:10 persona 5 reference
Was this ending in only the Japanese version or something? Or was it in future ports and releases?
It was never implemented.
Bruh i know that ending it is in the danganronpa v2 novel
11037
I think NezumiVA covered this
when is this made because if it was made in 2016 it could be persona 5
Mondo should've satyed alive instead of that boring Yasuhiro dude
I'm surprised none of these unused executions include Mitch. Like- I know Mitch is from a fanon game and it came out after THH but still-
Is this ending still possible
You can see the cutseen in the extras menu of the game but you can't get the ending as it was never put in the game.
