Great reactions, great personality, keep up the good work!🙂 I've loved this film right from the very get-go. As a confirmed die-hard fan of the sitcom 'Spaced', I was awaiting 'Shaun Of The Dead's release with considerable anticipation, and was fortuitous enough to win a ticket to experience a week or so before its nationwide cinema release, as part of a double-bill screening with 'An American Werewolf in London' (a scene of which was paid direct homage to in 'Shaun'). At this same event, I also managed to take my opportunity to speak briefly with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright in the foyer just prior to the screening, and congratulated them on the film (and undoubtedly came across like an unashamed geeky Pegg fanboy... sorry, Edgar). Needless to say, it was a particular highpoint of my 2004, and instantly cemented my love for the extended cinematic** universe these guys had already begun creating with 'Spaced' back in 1999. (I've already dropped a recommendation for 'Spaced' on your 'Hot Fuzz' reaction video, as I'm sure several other folks more than likely have, too). ** Yes, I know 'Spaced' wasn't a movie, but it was immediately evident that Edgar Wright was already displaying an impressive directorial style when it came to the wealth of cinematic techniques he employed - it was obvious he was likely to go far.
The zombie Indian guy approaching their car with his hand out was the shop clerk when Shawn grabbed the diet coke and ice cream, and said he owed him. Even as a zombie, he still remembered Shawn owed him money.
I liked Zombieland a lot, but I don't care if I ever see it again. I always want to see any Wright movie again, like the Coen bros' - exquisitely crafted, with previously missed details popping out every time. Took me 3 or 4 viewings just to get "we're coming to get you, Barbara" - which kinda blew my mind.
I like this movie but I don't find myself revisiting it. I love hot fuzz. That one I love to rewatch. That is pretty much the only Edgar Wright movie I rewatch. They are all well made tho.
As everyone else has said Hot Fuzz is next and a must, I actually watch Hot Fuzz the most out of the 3 films, that and their TV series Spaced, which you can see the origin of a lot of what they do in these films and many of the cast. The way Natalie was laughing through some of the moments in the film, i could totally hang with her,lol When my friend and i saw fargo in the theater he and i burst out laughing at one particular scene and we were the only ones to at that moment..
I didn’t like HotFuzz the first time I watched it, but gave it a second go and it’s always now on my regular rotation of movies I leave on in the background
I highly recommend "Tucker and Dale vs Evil". It's also a "horror-comedy", but no zombies. Very good movie I'm sure you'll both enjoy. [Edit: corrected typo]

Oddly this was the very first time i caught it too, weird how with multiple viewings of this film I have never put two and two together, maybe it was the way they edited it here for us that it stood out more.
I love this movie. I never get tired of it and I've seen it so many times. The script and the humor is so tight in it and there's so many jokes that pop out at you more on subsequent views. And Edgar Wright is such a fun director. As I'm sure others have already mentioned, you should definitely check out the other two films these guys collaborated on, Hot Fuzz and The World's End.

@@pistonburner6448 The plot isn't weak. I mean its a simple plot, but simple doesn't equal weak or bad. Its fine if it doesn't resonate with you, but claiming its weak when its actually has a really tight story structure with strong set ups and pay offs is kind of absurd. And I guess the humor isn't your taste either. But they did manage to work in a joke at pretty much every beat of this film. So the gags are plenty and they work for a lot of people obviously. Although I'll be honest, I have no clue how you find one of these films funny, and not the other two. They're all written by Pegg and Wright and the humor is really similar as such. This one out of the trilogy could probably have done with a bigger budget. This movie is a big love letter to George Romero and his zombie trilogy (Night of the Living Dead '68, Dawn of the Dead '78, Day of the Dead '85). And its jammed with references and music cues from those films ("Were coming to get you Barbara"). Romero was actually the first person the director Edgar Wright showed the finished film to.. he loved it so much, he gave them a cameo in his movie Land of the Dead, which was the first of Romero's 2nd zombie trilogy.

Its just the english way head to the pub to meet up. Were so predictable like that. Ive got an old series of films that are from the60s called carry on films. Typical british humour and very un pc but a staple to watch growing up. My faves were carry on up the khyber and carry on camping or any of the hospital ones
I enjoyed all three of the Wright movies but 'Hot Fuzz' is still my favourite. If they are not on your react list, may I suggest 'Paul'? Pegg and Frost team up again, only in the United States as a couple of science fiction geeks who end up travelling across country with an extra terrestrial named Paul, voiced by Seth Rogen. Not a fan of Mr. Rogen but he was pretty good in this one. Also a classic horror/ kind of comedy you might enjoy, 'An American Werewolf in London' from 1981! Really enjoyed watching you two react to 'Shaun of the Dead'!
This was part of Edgar Wright's "Cornetto Trilogy"... "Shaun of the Dead" for Zombies, "Hot Fuzz" for Slashers and "The World's End" for Aliens... ALL Great Movies! Simon Pegg (Shaun) and Nick Frost (Ed) Team up for a GREAT American Comedy called "Paul". It's also a Banger!
"[about Ed] He's not my boyfriend!" "[handing beer to Shaun] It might be a bit warm, the cooler's off." "Thanks, babe. [winks at Ed]" Fun Fact: George A. Romero, creator of the movies to which this movie pays homage and lampoons, was so impressed with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's work that he asked them to cameo in Land Of The Dead (2005) as zombies. Spaced Background Fact: Many of the zombie extras are fans of Spaced (1999), which also starred Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and was also directed by Edgar Wright. They were recruited through the Spaced Out fan website. All of the newsreaders and television presenters are real people portraying themselves. Multiverse Sequel Fact: Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright considered a sequel that would replace zombies with another monster, but decided against it, as they were pleased with this movie as a stand-alone product, and thought too many characters died to continue the story. The proposed title idea "From Dusk Till Shaun" did have an afterlife as a mocked up poster that can be seen in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (2018).
I'm sensing a theme within a theme. (Sort of like a Dream Within a Dream a poem by Edgar Allen Poe - a horror-ish writer, but I digress.) Main theme horror, sub theme, zombies. Night of the Living Dead is the original and a classic. Just a suggestion if you continue on in this theme. Nice reaction to this. I find it interesting you lowered your score because of the friend dying but not the mom.

@@ForceOfLightEntertainmentno worries, always a pleasure. If you do decide to react to the bardcore Ren, he loves reactors and will always give permission, even if you get a copyright block, it gets an ok on appeal. Hi Ren has 20 million views and there is no one else like Ren. Hot fuzz please lol
@@ForceOfLightEntertainment sorry still going on but seriously if you can react to Hi Ren it would be great, I must have literally watched hundreds of reactions to it to get the buzz of seeing it for the first time again and I would live to see my two favourite ladies react to it, it leaves many in tears and most speechless, Ren fans call themselves renegades, there are renologists, reniverse, it goes on lol, I'll stop going on now sorry about that lol
“It’s on random…😭”
-Shaun of the dead
5:15 Gets me how no one has connected the fact that Edd is his dealer lol
3:28 "That's Natalie in the morning."
I think that's a _lot_ of people in the morning.
🎵Come on, pillow, let's start anew🎵
🎵'Cause wakin' up is hard to do🎵
After seeing Natalie react to this I just had to subscribe. 😂😂 you girls are cool brilliant
In the special features on the DVD its shows that Dianne survived by hiding up a tree and eating davids leg until rescued
Glad you two checked this one out. This is one of my favorites of all time ❤
Good mix of comedy , thriller and horror. These main characters did a lot of films together. Hot fuzz is another collaboration
Another fun zombie horror/comedy is Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. I think you would enjoy it
One of the funniest zombie comedy horror movies ever made!
Right up there with Zombieland, Return Of The Living Dead and Train To Busan.
I think this was one of the first ever romantic 💘 , zombie 🧟♀️ comedies 🎭😂
They did advertise it as a romzomcom 😁
the song playing on the bus is called zombie nation
We're coming to get you Barbara is a line from the original Night of The Living Dead 1968, "Their coming to get you Barbara". If you want a good Comedy Zombie Movie watch Night of The Comet 1984 and The Return of the Living Dead 1985..
Got you! Thanks!
Funny how Ed did eventually go and live in the shed.
It's the first part of 'The Cornetto Trilogy', Hot Fuzz and Worlds End are the next two.
You should watch crocodile Dundee 1 & 2. You should also watch Notting Hill
Actually have never seen either!
@@ForceOfLightEntertainment they’re all good movies, you won’t regret watching them!
@@Wiiggz thanks!
@@ForceOfLightEntertainment no one ever does Notting Hill on here either, it’s surprising because it’s a good Rom com.
*Highly Recommendation*
React This Movie "RRR : RISE ROSR REVOLT"
*This Movie won All International Award And a song from this film has won an Oscar.*
This is a classic to all us Brits 👍👍 Love both of your reactions ladies ❤
Thank you!!
@@ForceOfLightEntertainment 😘
Us Americans too.
I can't stop laughing with you both....my eyes are streaming hahaha
😁😁
Tucker & Dale vs Evil should be your next reaction! As for this reaction, your faces when the zombies (I shouldn't say that word) tear into David is, by itself, worth watching this video! But you two are so fun to watch and listen to! I thought the movie was worth at least 4.5 Hoots, although not as funny to me as Monty Python, it was still very funny!
Aww thank you!! Agreed!
Funny movie! It was so silly with the British take.
12:49 "...removing the _head_ or destroying the _brain."_
And that's how it's done. You want to kill a _vampire,_ plant a wooden stake in its heart. You want to kill a _werewolf,_ shoot it in the heart with a silver bullet. But if you want to kill a _zombie,_ remove its head or destroy its brain.
5:53 "So... then... how many of these parts do you want prioritized to _comedic_ actors?"
"Yes."
Need check out red vs dead, dead snow 2! The Star wars references are homage!
❤ I’d like to know did you have subtitles on for the British cockney accent ❓I don’t remember liking this movie seeing it just one time, but maybe my funny bone was off that day 🤷🏻♂️ I’ll give it another shot sometime thanks to you angels 😇👩🏻🦱👩🏻🦰 and two thubls 👍🏻👍🏻 re acting to it. Happy you enjoyed it
Thank you!!
Thanks ladies modern classic
The feast movie trilogies. They're not too funny but they are funny/brutal good. Except the 3rd
Fun reaction to a classic movie. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!!
Fun fact, everyone that appears in the opening scenes is seen again as a zombie during the movie.
❤ I’d like to know did you have subtitles on for the British cockney accents ❓ I don’t remember liking this movie seeing it one time, but maybe my funny bone was off that day 🤷🏻♂️ I’ll give another shot sometime thanks to you ladies and two 👍🏼👍🏼 up re acting
One of my favorite zombie movies
Well, now you have to watch the rest of the Cornetto trilogy.
17:25 so you want to leave a second story well guarded building to be safe at a low level bar with glass windows all around ..... brilliant!
They say it at the beginning, Sean only ever exacerbates things.
Here we go! Excellent 🇬🇧🙂
🤩☺️
I love Zombie Land, but S.O.T.D is much better!
The best zombie movie since the original one, Night of the Living Dead.
LOVE the cast.
Part of the Cornetto Trilogy.
Classic movie, i watched with my sons many moons ago. Im sure people have pointed out hot fuzz to watch which is the same people and i think worlds end which are the cornetto trilogy!
Really enjoyed watching you two react to 'Shaun of the Dead'!
its the first part of a triology xD
This was part of Edgar Wright's "Cornetto Trilogy"... "Shaun of the Dead" for Zombies, "Hot Fuzz" for Slashers and "The World's End" for Aliens... ALL Great Movies!
Simon Pegg (Shaun) and Nick Frost (Ed) Team up for a GREAT American Comedy called "Paul". It's also a Banger!
Spoiler alert.
You two make me laugh so much lol thanks
Aww good!
“Hot Fuzz” next please.
8:39 This is the face of a man who's just been dumped.
"[about Ed] He's not my boyfriend!"
"[handing beer to Shaun] It might be a bit warm, the cooler's off."
"Thanks, babe. [winks at Ed]"
Fun Fact: George A.
@Big5Gator "This is basically a gay romance!" (Edgar Wright)
Hot Fuzz. That's next, and far better!
This movie is great
I'm sensing a theme within a theme.
"They are going to get you, Barbara". Night of the living dead.
You need to watch Paul another one from Simon Pegg, it is brilliant!
You can't go wrong with Edgar Wright films. Hot Fuzz, World's End, Baby Driver; they are all great!
We have reactions to those first 2
@@ForceOfLightEntertainment Baby Driver isn't a comedy, but it has great stunt driving and fun story. I'll be watching your reactions to Hot Fuzz and World's End this weekend. I've only recently discovered this channel but you two are a blast to watch. You remind me of myself and my best friend and how we watch movies just laughing together. Looking forward to the rest of your summer of comedy!
I've never seen this channel and I'm distracted.
Hi recomend ( let the right one in 2008 Swedish version) 98 positive review on Rotten Tomatoes
Love this movie thanks force of light😊
