- Why did no one tell me how much fun this game is?! Is Battlefront II worth playing in 2024? In this video I play Battlefront 2 for the FIRST TIME (pretty much) in 2024 and was really surprised at how well it played and how much fun I had. Star Wars Battlefront II is an action shooter video game based on the Star Wars franchise. It is the fourth main installment of the Star Wars: Battlefront series, and a sequel to the 2015 reboot of the series. It was developed by DICE, in collaboration with Criterion Games and Motive Studios, and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released worldwide on November 17, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes, and overall includes more content than its predecessor. The single-player campaign of the game is set between the films Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, and follows an original character, Iden Versio, the commander of an Imperial special ops strike force dubbed Inferno Squad, who defects to the New Republic after becoming disillusioned with the Galactic Empire's tactics. Most of the story takes place during the final year of the Galactic Civil War, before the Empire's definitive defeat at the Battle of Jakku.
The reason all the reinforcements only cost 100 battlepoints is because of a little weekend event going on. They still cycle through regularly with double xp, lower battlepoint costs etc. Usually they cost 1000 - 2000 battlepoints to spawn in during a match
I was wondering about that, I seemed to ALWAYS be able to spawn as a special unit of some kind which I found surprising
You finally playing this gem? Im so sad they cancelled support in favor of 2042 when it was at its peak popularity
I'm sad I missed its heyday but its been very fun so far to experience it!
You CAN go into first person. You just have to hold C with any of the 4 normal classes. Reinforcements and heroes cannot

The super battle droids were always my favorite of the OG Battlefront. Also, this still looks better than Star Wars Outlaws lol

The game got rid of the horrible lootboxes and progression just a few months after the game released in 2017, yet people still believe it plagues the game to this day. Its so sad to see that people still think about that when it comes to this game

The lootboxes werent even that bad though. You could still wreck. Only thing that was broken was the officer class (which I used a lot back then). The game is still fun. People just want to complain.@@Punggles

I definitely do. On PC atleast you can still pretty easily find lobbies in co op mode and all the big modes like supremacy and galactic assault. You can also find games in the smaller modes sometimes
Considering you can get it for like $5 these days absolutely!
