2000 IJSBA Skat-Trak World Finals, Lake Havasu, Arizona, VHS Rip

VHS rip. Found this on another site. It deserved a wider audience so I added it to RUclips. A Skat-Trak commercial follows the event.

Each October, the entire personal watercraft community converges on the shores of Lake Havasu for the most significant eight days on the watercraft calendar - the Skat-Trak World Championships. It's here, in the middle of the Arizona desert, that careers are born, legends are made, and the pride of international fans is akin to flag-waving Germans cheering for Ferrari's Michael Schumacher at a Formula 1 race.
Nineteen years of unforgettable racing has taken place at the annual Skat-Trak World Championships: from Larry Rippenkroeger's Pro Ski and Pro Freestyle World Championships in 1982 to Dustin Farthing's heroic comeback from injury to capture the Pro Runabout 785 title in 1999.
During October 8-15, 2000, the world's best PWC racers re-wrote the record books as they battled for the most coveted titles in PWC racing - the 20000 IJSBA World Championships.
Note: there are brief audio issues between 19:35 and 20:40. This was not my rip but as someone who 'borrowed' some of my pictures for eBay once told me "Once you release something into the wild you never know where it will end up."

I was there as a kid. Best part of growing up in lake havasu was watching the world finals. Yamaha killed it
