Wow, this is impressive quality to have come from VHS. Was this a direct-to-VHS tape rather than recorded from a TV broadcast via VCR? Not seeing any ESPN now that I think about it.
I'm into MX, and while there's lots of youtube uploads of 90s motocross/supercross races, the vid quality is nowhere near this good.
Edit: Well shoot, Todd Harris (who has been commentating again on some supercross races for the last couple of years) mentions ESPN in the final 10 seconds of the vid. But still no ESPN graphics/logos on screen.
This was ripped from a brand new IJSBA VHS tape. I actually opened it to watch/rip it. We had another copy of this at the dealer for playing in the showroom so I had seen it a lot back then. It does not say ESPN or any network on the box but it does say "Bonus footage never seen on TV." Unfortunately it is the only IJSBA tape I have. Lots of other Crusty Demons, Fly, Terrafirma, Motoxxx, FTP, but those are already on RUclips.
The Protech Yamaha for pro runabout would’ve won if not for the breakdown.
