    If you click "SHOW MORE" in the description above your be able to see Links to the Tools 🔧🔨🔧 I use. Also Clickable Chapters📋 📙 throughout the video and other Links 🎬 that may be of interest. I've had a few viewers request where they can buy the tools they see in some of my videos but it's not very clear that the "SHOW MORE" tab has a lot of information in that may be of interest. Admittedly the amazon links are associated with me and I would earn a small commission which helps towards keeping the channel funded.

    Just for info, those fuel connectors click off if you press down on top of the plastic clip, then it will expand on the sides an can be taken off.

    In the books of 2024 you can read that the 1.6 THP 156HP the connecting rod shut be 5nm 15nm and 130gr +-5gr and not 5 nm and 10nm 130gr so the torq of the 150hp and the 156hp is not the same!!!!!!!!

    What was the carbon build up like on the intake valves? Maybe you'll cover this down the line.

      @@CoatsandGaiters Great stuff!
      My mate knows nothing about cars but decided to buy a 2019 C4 Lounge with the 1.6 THP engine and then not change the oil for three years! Although it did only do 7,500 miles in those three years and after around 5,000 miles it was topped up/overfilled with two litres of new oil.
      I've since changed the oil and filters for him but I'm wondering if the next oil change should be done much earlier to help try and flush out any build up that may have occurred. Care to speculate?

    • @CoatsandGaiters
      @CoatsandGaiters  7 месяцев назад +2

      My only thoughts on modern engines after 2007 is to change the oil every 6,000 miles as clean oil is so crucial to modern engines working reliably. The other thing I would do is drive it very sympathetically as these engines are under lot of stress. Mine blew up just sat ticking over outside so these early engines have a very poor reputation. @@simonshurety3870

      @@CoatsandGaiters Agreed, oil is cheap and engines are expensive.
      I told my friend not to buy it! And now he wants to sell it to me lol.

      The later ones may be totally fine as I did hear they resolved many of the early issues. My experience is only of a 2007 one which were a disaster. They could well be brilliant engines now.@@simonshurety3870
