Everyone who has been on a cruise will know how expensive shore excursions can be but not everybody realises that there is plenty you can do at most cruise ports without spending a lot of money. In this video I'll show you some of the things we did in Messina which, hopefully, will give you one or two ideas of how you can save money on your next cruise.

Thanks for the video. I assume you take train to taormina-giardini? Didn't know there was bus imcluded. Did you have to wait long for it ?

Yes Taormina-Giardini is correct. I'm not sure how often the bus runs but it was there waiting for us as we left the station. I would assume that the bus ties up with the train arrival times.
