This came out 42 years ago and it still sounds fresh
Okay, now I feel old. I was 16 then. 😉🙃
Timeless!
@@tedharvick9010 when this song came out i wasnt born yet does that help you not feel old 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love this song though
43 years 2023 - 1980 = 43
The whole Back In Black album is one of the best classic hard rock albums of all time.
I think it is !!!
Agreed! 🎸 🎸 🎸
Abso-effing-lutely! Brings back memories of 9th grade for me!
Say that all the time.
If I remember right, it is the biggest selling album by a band of all time. I think over 50 MILLION albums sold on this one record.
This is my favorite AC/DC song. Love the instrumental solo….
Mine too.
Me too:)
I concur
Absolutely!
I read an interview with Brian Johnson, the band's singer, that said this song refers to, at the time, in England women were being over prescribed injections of some sort of anti-depressant drugs to solve even the most mild symptoms of depression, cramps or even a case of the "Monday's". Cheers!
One of their great songs with Bon Scott is “Girls Got Rhythm” - it continues to rock!
All Bonn continues to rock!
I agree, Girls Got Rhythm is an absolute banger of a tune, my favourite Bon Scott songs are Down Payment Blues and Ride On!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸 🎸
love that song
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK THEM TO REACT TO THAT ITS MY FAVE
'Shot Down In Flames', is another great track with Bon on vocals.
Glad to see you guys getting a little deeper into AC/DC. Not just their "radio songs".... Check out Have A Drink On Me, Shot Down In Flames, Flick Of The Switch, Rock N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, Dirty Deeds, Girls Got Rhythm, Jailbreak, Rock N Roll Train, The Jack and so many others.
Don’t forget “Walk All Over You”
Big Balls, Sink the Pink, Sin City and Ride On.
Givin' the dog a bone
Heatseeker shake your foundation and danger
Shoot to thrill is a radio song. The whole album are radio songs tbh
"Have A Drink On Me" is another upbeat rock out song by them that gets me hyped up.
hell yea.u just can't go wrong wth any song off that record.
AC DC did the sound track for a Steven King thriller.
The movie is Maximum Overdrive.
The album is Who Made Who.,,,,,,,,,,,a MASTERPIECE.
Down Payment Blues, Sin City, and Gone Shootin' from the album "Powerage" are a must reaction.
Way back when this came out, car stereo's didn't really have sub-woofers. Most would line 6x9's all over the car. If you wanted to test them out, this was the song......the drum part was so awesome back then.
I am feeling you....Jensen R-405, MetroSound Amp/Eq (70 watts) and a bunch (4) Jensen 6x9 Tri-Ax 2's
Sure enough... AC/DC and I were never the same!!!!!!
4 Jensen Triaxials in the rear deck and the EQ/power booster sounded pretty damn good at the time....!
My ears are still ringing from those 6x9s. Good times
Their finest song!
This song is you looked up hard rock songs, this world be the definition... It's a slick, slimy, grimy hard rock song!!!
Can't touch be touched.
Asia… You asked what the mosh pit would be like for this… If you watch the performance of this song from their River Plate show, the sheer size of the mosh pit will not only blow your mind, but it will obliterate it… But in the best way possible 🤘😄👍
Yes, AC-DC The Black Album. Frontstreet Band used to Crank them Amps up and tear up the place with tunes like this, The dance would go until 5Am.Angus Young favored a Gibson SG and Brother Malcolm liked a Gretch Firebird. Malcolm passed away but this group put the necessary Energy into their Music, That's what Rock & Roll demands, Give them guys harmonizing a swift kick in the behind. I love that Distorted Power Chords with the Lead Surfing on top of the Groove & Drive provided by the Bass and Drums. The Power of Rock and Roll. Thank you.
Touch to Much, Girls Got Rhythm, Let Me Put My Love Into You !!!!!!! Try them you’ll love them!!!! AC/ DC are awesome 😎!!!!
This is my favorite AC/DC song. I love it when he says “too many women too many pills”. It’s such a hoot. Full of hidden meanings, pull the trigger!!!!
Ya just can't go wrong with AC/DC..love it!!!🔥❤️❤️
Wife here..One of my personal favorite AC/DC songs..Oh Yeah.., this is one of my favorite AC/DC songs..Oh yeah..,One of Ironman's theme songs..,!!!..Love that break Ms. Asia!!!..Definitely hear the male bravado BJ!!!
Truest rock group of them all. U knew exactly what u were gonna get from the very beginning till this day. I'd match them up against any rock group from any Era & they would at least hold there own. Bad ass group.
One of my favorites! Yes, watch it live, it’s even better! Those guitars at the end, such a great song!
AC/DC the forever kings of rock!!!! 😎🤯🤘🤘🤘☝☝🤙✊💪
Perhaps their most underrated song. I absolutely love it
This was certainly a rockin' song when it came out and BJ rocking that Blue Jays hat is giving me some Fred McGriff vibes! Good stuff guys 💞
Whoa what a line-up today!!! Got my eclectic self loving lots of these!
Glad you like them!
@@AsiaandBJ ❤
THE FIRST TIME I LISTENED TO AC DC, HIGHWAY TO HELL, WITH BON SCOTT, I THOUGHT HE WAS A BLACK SINGER, BUT HE WAS AN AUSTRALIAN OF SCOTTISH ORIGIN I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAME TO ME, MY HEAD. EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO, BACK IN BLACK , EVERY SONG OF THAT LP WITH BRAYAN JHONSON, I FEEL THE SPIRIT OF JAMES BROWM, PISSED, BOTHERING BEHIND, THEN IT MIXES, THE BLACK MUSIC WITH THE CELTIC SPIRIT
Great Reaction. Absolutely love this song. Just have to love the 80s especially AC⚡️DC. ❤️✌️🌼
You have got to see the live version! AC/DC - Shoot to Thrill (Live at Donington, 8/17/91
To get the full ACDC experience you really should check out this song and a few others live at Donington! This takes their songs to a whole new level. ❤️
I was there 15 years old. What a great day. 🎸
@@freddyspizzaboy6754 - I was also there but i was 21 and DC blew me away that night. I was a fan before but after that night i become a fanatic.
My fav AC/DC song- right here! Let’s go! ❤️🎼🎶❤️and since I’m an X-ray tech….this one was my anthem! ☢️😎❤️
Greatest full album ever made as every song rocks hard. Check out "Have a Drink on Me".
Great song for MMA training, when your going for the shot, a double leg take down. I play it it at the gym at BJJ. BOOOOOOOM.
Only concert I saw people stand the whole time was ACDC not one person sitting down. They are the best rock band ever. They h a ve stood the test of time.
There are many good songs on Back in Black but I think this is my favorite, and I bought this album the first day it was released on vinyl.
Me too, but I bought a cassette, so I could drive around all day with a car full of mates with it playing full blast - happy days
@@aussierhino471 After Bon died I really wanted to hear this singer trying to replace him.First song is Hell's Bell's with it's long intro so the tension is building and I'm getting all tensed up and finally I hear, I'm rolling thunder, pouring rain and I'm instantly impressed.Would love to go back and hear the whole album for the first time again.
@@lantzkeefer6 Me too - that day driving around listening to the album for the first time was wonderful - especially as we went to the pub after the album finished!
This song is about Heroin, shoot to thrill, play to kill, under your skin....
Great song, rockin'! I always enjoy watching your reactions!
Your next AC/DC reaction should be, "Giving The Dog A Bone". BJ, if you're thinking something dirty because of the title, then yeah, that's what it means. The beat is sick though, and I believe y'all will like it. Keep up the good work guys!
I also say “given the dog a bone “ is underrated and such a great groovy rock song !!!
I'll never forget when my daughter was little we where listening to this. As serious as a heart attack, She says mom that man must really love his dog. Trying not to laugh, I said Why do you say that? Well he wrote a song just about giving it a bone. She is 27 now, I still remind her about it. Out of the mouth of babes!
"giving the dog a Bone" "BJ" 😭
AC/DC just pure high energy kick your ass melt your face rock and roll. They are the epitome of the words Rock and roll
Mad respect... luv you guys and you pick right up on it!!! pick up the vibe.... and respect for the musicianship.... thats why i follow you 2... peace and love my friends... ✌😎
Givin' the Dog A Bone....is another great one from the Back in Black album
You guys are great together!! Thanks for another awesome review!!!!!
An AC/DC concerts has so much ENERGY pulsing thru it it is almost like it is a living thing.
The back In Black album is arguably the greatest Rock album of all time .It put AC/DC on the map and they probably are the most recognized rock band .
They were first discovered here in Australia in the early 70’s & are STILL rocking the world today & their longevity proves your point EXACTLY & EMPHATICALLY ✊️😎👍
Baddest Rock band in the history of the world
Great reaction. One of my favs. You should react to this Live At River Plate, December 2009.
One of my faves by them.
FINALLY ASIA…. I’ve been dying for someone to play SHOOT TO THRILL. I’m a HUGE ACDC FAN. I think you and BJ would love RIDE ON. Awesome blues song from ACDC from Bonn Scott’s era💙💙
BIG BALLS,
DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP,
NIGHT PROWLER,
SQUEALER,
& definitely GIRLS GOT RHYTHM carry the blood rush throughout the body in these AC/DC classics. Rock on !!!
That breakdown at 4:26 is the best damn groove in classic rock. I just go somewhere else while that grooving riff plays out, gets louder and then crashes out. Thank you, Malcolm
AC/DC best when there live. Great song
This song freakin rocks 🍺🍺
“Hell ain’t a bad place to be” is another great song from AC/DC!
Check out the live version from Donnington as well. Epic performance
This is one of my top favorite. If you ain't moving, you ain't breathing lol. The break with the drums is just awesome, Phil doing his thing. Great Reaction.
My favorie song from "Back in Black" I used to play this before our football games back in 1981. It pumps you up!
Used to play this whole album on the bus rides for away games.
This whole album is great! Way to come back after Bon died (RIP). have 2 copies on 1980 vinyl!
Brian's debut album after bons death....pretty Amazing 👏
And still AC/DC's best-selling album to date. Beyond platinum. Twenty-five times DIAMOND in the U.S. alone.
@@philpennington826 bon wrote a killer album
One of the greatest ever!! If you want to see this live, you definitely have to see the footage from the “Live at Donington” concert… My man, Angus, wrecked it!! Thanks a lot, Asia and BJ!! Your videos are off the charts.
For Aussies this our all of the above music. Driving, BBQ, hanging out, fire up before football or a surf. Drinks pre night out. Acca Dacca.
We didn't have "mosh pits!" We held our lighters up instead of our cell phones! These guys delivered when they played live. When you left one of their shows, you felt like you got MORE than your moneys worth! I was fortunate enough to see them eleven times (never with Bon Scott and once with Axl Rose) and they kick ass every single time! Great reaction! Thanks
Greatest Hard Rock song ever written and thd best recording. Amazing.
More so than any other Acca Dacca song of the Brian Johnson era, this is it for me. Driving rhythm section, great lead and rhythm guitars, Johnson’s voice buzzing like a chainsaw. And on top of that, classic hard rock lyrics and brilliantly produced. Shoot to Thrill has everything.
Growing up in Melbourne we always used to listen to Ac Dc on the radio, First time I saw them in concert was in 1988.
Givin the dog a bone is a must
A banger. Can't feel down after listening to this.
Gotta watch this live, amps it up even more
Hi ya, Asia & BJ!! Gettin' close to 10 songs, just tonight! I've done told ya that Angus don't play! He mean's business! Great song!👍😎👍 Keep them coming!
Been a fan since I was young and I still loud and proud and I’m 47 ..lets go💪🏻
TIMELESS,this song could come out in any era& just kill it
This album was released during my freshman year of high school. I can honestly say, this was the most talked about, and radio played record in my lifetime! Every single song on this record was being played. Think about that...all 10 songs filling the airwaves! Absolutely unmatched!!
Can you imagine being at a AC/DC concert where every Song is so intense
I HAVE , BACK IN THE 80s.
@@tomeagen1039 how was it?
@@jonboy_13 I HAD A RINGING IN MY EARS FOR A WEEK, I FUKIN LOVED IT//
@@tomeagen1039 hell yeah man!
My favorite ALL TIME Song period!!! I always said that the groove and tempo of this song tries to grab you and pull you thru it (in a good way) !
We all need some AC/DC in our lives.
I love it when Asia says "Come on" you know she knows its going to be good.
This song and the song HAVE A DRINK ON ME are great.. this hole album is great still! None stop hits on this album right here. 👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤘
Anytime you react to an AC/DC concert you need to do it a live. That's when the boys shine
First saw AC/DC when I was 19, with Bon Scot as lead singer. That was 44 years ago. Thought when Bon died that the band would fold, until Brian Johnson, former lead singer with Geordie arrived.
For anyone still in the dark, which you would be at the end of this, the song is about the abundance of prescription tranquilizers, which became an epidemic in the 80s, especially affecting women suffering from depression. There, I’ve added more to your understanding of this song than these guys did.
I was a high school football player when this album came out, and a lot of the songs were pre-game musts, as well as for post game celebrations!
Saw them in early 90s Summit in Houston, opened with Thunderstruck then right into Shoot to thrill, epic concert experience, thanks
Another great from AC/DC. I'm still requesting y'all to take a look at AC/DC live on the Grammys in 09 or 10 when they just bring down the house. When they got done the show was over.
This song is about the time that women were popping pills like candy . They were playing with their lives popping pills. Lyrics written by Brian Johnson .
Live Wire, Night Prowler, Problem Child, If You Want Blood..You Got It, Jailbreak. So many good tunes to explore.
AC/DC!! "Nuff said" 😉
AC/DC has over 200 Plus Great ROCK SONGS.......... from 1974 to Today.... :)
I got 247 AC/DC Songs on my Computer (4 Australia Only Albums) All Great Songs :)
and I'm Missing Albums... BLACK ICE (2008)... ROCK or BUST (2014)... and POWER UP (2020)
You need to see this live at river plate.
No, the earlier versions when they were more in their prime tho
every lead break on this LP is a mini symphony in itself
One of their best songs!
The best in da bizz ..loud and proud before it was cool❤️☀️🎸⚡️
ive heard that "too many women, too many pills", was describing the age of contraceptives. no reprecussions.... unimpregnateable women everywhere you look. please do not take this as a sexist comment. legends they are.
ACDC just doesn't let up, amazing band.
You guys are the ballS!! Love you! thank you!
You guys should see ACDC play this tune in front of 100,000 people in the Ironman II video. To see that many people reacting in unison to this tune is literally out of this world.
this was the main song in iron man 2 lot of ac/dc used in the marvel movies
I always catch myself speeding when this song is in! I have to put cruise control on 😆
as an Australian, I had chills 3 notes in! let's GO AC/DC it isn't an Ironman movie without some accadacca
If you can, see the Delta Force ad with a Little Bird pilot and this song. Crazy fun.
50 years of great rock and roll
Try vacuuming the house with this in your headphones....
If you really want to "feel" AC/DC find Touch Too Much and give it a listen.
Their most underrated song.
My favorite song of all time and I’m 23 (24 on Sept 18th). This song made me go through a lot in my life when nobody was there for me.
I've seen them 5 times and this is, by far... my favorite live song
Great reaction guys. I love seeing people hear an AC/DC track for the first time and get pumped up.
Check out 'Big Gun' by AC/DC next, another blood pumping rocker for you to get lost in.
👍👍❤️
Enjoyed you guys enjoying this. I grew up with this kind of music. Welcome aboard! 😊
Their performance of this in the Live At Donington concert is 100% epic.
