Thanks again for making context with clinical candor! There are so many “tools” in the pumping “tool box” that it’s so useful to know the details and the risks associated with this combo. It sounds like for the Buddah user who needs a more discrete profile than what the baby buddah cups offer, the Elvie Stride or Freemie Slims are generally going to be a less risky choices.
100% less risky! I would honestly put these cups in the category of if I have no other way to accomplish this task I might consider them. It's just riskier than I love.
What tubing are you using for the tests? If you use spectra tubing and the Baby Buddha Y connector do you think that could further lower the suction? Suggestions for how to substantially lower the suction for Medela cups with the Baby Buddha 2.0?
These cups are like the little engine that could lol. I have tried multiple tubing setups and even with 6 feet of aquarium tubing I can't get the overall suction to lower appreciably because that diaphragm is just not meant for this pump suction. I love the medela cups and wish they were not so risky but to date they are.
@genuinelactation completely agree, I watched the cup video too, and I'm so glad I did. Thank you for the warning! 🙏 you helped me narrow down what I should try, fingers crossed it works.

@@genuinelactation darn. The Medela cups work so well and are so easy to clean it really stinks that they don’t play nicely with Baby Buddha.
@@learntoinvestbetter I totally get that! I wish they played a little nicer together for sure!
Has anyone tried using medela symphony parts with the medela in style pump?
Breast reduction can cause nipples to feel numb
Yes but the tissue can still be damaged which gets risky
