    This is amazing. I loved the stimulation mode but hated the long pull! Wish this would have came out sooner!

    Thanks for the video, this seems like a great update! I was just thinking if I got another pump, I'd want one that is ultra portable, but has both strong suction and faster cycles. This seems to check all those boxes, and it's great they also reduced a bit that long pull for the first few levels. It's great to see a company that is actually trying to improve their pumps and make them more versatile, as oppossed to reducing quality and forcing them to buy more and more stuff (I'm looking at you Medela) 😅

    I am confused between Madela Swing maxi hands free vs the Baby Buddha 2.0. My insurance is covering both partially, Madela is more expensive than BB2.0. For a first time mom, which one would you recommend?

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  8 дней назад

      I see more success with the BabyBuddha unless what we need is a portable pump with stronger than average vibration (which isn’t common). I would likely pick BabyBuddha especially as it’s less expensive for you

    If I typically need suction level 2 to start and then up to 3-4 on battery on my spectra s1, would the 2.0 work for me or would it still be too powerful?

    This came as a nice surprise for me and at the right time. I switched insurance and I'm eligible for a new pump. The v2 was still too strong for me, hopefully, I can have a better experience with the 2.0. I wasn't aware of the hacks to decrease suction until recently, I'll definitely be reaching out once I have my pump.
    Btw, is there a hack to make the genie advanced faster? I ended up switching to that, but need more speed.

    • @genuinelactation

      there is no hack to speed a pump up- you would have to mess with circuit boards. If you need faster we need to find you a faster pump which this pump will be much faster!

    How do you know when to buy new parts for a pump? Is there an indication or just based on timing?

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  Месяц назад +1

      On average duckbills are every 2-4 weeks, diaphragms and backflows are every 60-90 days. Each brand will have their own recommendations though! For the BabyBuddha the recommendation is monthly for duckbills, every 2 months for dipahragms, 6 months for tubing, and 6-12 months for the hand plastic parts.

    Thank you so much for all this information! I think I am going to get the BabyBuddha this time around. I have the Spectra s2 from my first pregnancy. Do you think I will be able to switch between the two and get a good response or are they too different?

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  2 месяца назад

      Actually if you are starting off using both fairly early on most of the issues will simply not happen for you! Those first 4-6 weeks the letdown reflex is almost overactive so we can easily teach your body to respond to a variety of pumps and then as long as you use both regularly to stay responsive you are golden!

    I always hear replace diaphragms and duck bills about every 2-3 months, you mentioned about every 4-6 if using the hack. If I'm only using the pump 1-2 times a day, the replacement recommendation time would increase then, yes?

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  3 месяца назад

      The typical recommendation is 8-9 weeks for diaphragms, 4-5 weeks for duckbills. With that level of use you can stretch to double that timeframe but the washing wears them heavily so no further than that typically

    Do you know if the 2.0 will immediately be available through insurance? I legit JUST placed my order for my insurance breast pump with aeroflow last week, then I started seeing that they had a new pump coming out 😭 I might be calling aeroflow to see if I can exchange it since it still hasn’t arrived and I obviously haven’t even opened the one I ordered yet
