Only because it's still in production doesn't mean anything. The fj cruiser got discontinued because of it's big engine that wasted so much gas, not because it was a bad vehicle. Ever since Fiat took over Chrysler, Jeeps have lost their raw off roading reputation/dna. Now they're known to breaking down before even reaching 150,000 miles and for their infamous "deathwobbles". They do look nice but that's about it. The older Jeeps were bulletproof with their inline 6 cylinder engines but those times are gone. But yea keep telling yourself that the Fj cruiser is a wannabe Jeep. I'll take an Fj over a Jeep any day.

Doesn't matter what the Jeep fanboys say, you don't see people driving up to 50+ year old Jeeps daily. I live in a remote area and the used car lots are full of Jeeps for good reason, Toyota has always been the better choice. FJ doesn't stand for Fake Jeep, it stands for F**k Jeep.
