If the supremely appointed Silver Linings drive/preamp engine doesn't do very well, people are not paying enough attention. The guys that brought us the Simplifier have not squandered their downtime during recent lockdowns. Silver Linings offers us incredible control over three clipping types - soft, vintage and hard - multiplied by three modes - normal, preamp and mid boost. Add to that a 20dB independent clean boost, pre-tone shaping, 30dB pre-boost, soft switching, three-band EQ and a galaxy of possible tones and it is a Silver Lining indeed. This might be the last drive you ever need. I know I've said that before, but really...

Impressive as always. Many thanks Brett for your support, is it highly appreciated!
Impressive! Who ever designed this really understands guitar amp tones!!
I love their stuff. Imagine this and the Simplifier together. I think I can create pretty much all the sounds I need for (home) recording. Great job! ❤️
I have the simplifier deluxe, and I love it. But, I am having trouble finding overdrive and distortion pedals that pair well with it. Maybe the silver linings is the answer. Any advice?
@@GSC333 I've got the classic one. In my opinion it pairs well with every od I have
@@GSC333 maybe a little late to reply but on the andertons video, DSM actually state they go great together !
Tons of tones! That's great pedal 😦
Great demo thanks Brett. Just when I thought my pedalboard was sorted you do this to me.
Oops. Sorry, Joel! Thanks for watching.
Your ears tell you this is really good, but Brett's face while playing this is a bigger endorsement well beyond being compensated for his reviews. That guitar face listening live is priceless.
Gees that sounds good! Great demo and playing.
Thanks, Matt!
Great playing Brett
Sounds great 👍
I hope you are getting at least a small piece of the action because, once again, based on your stellar demo, I’m likely to purchase another gadget I don’t need, but want anyway. Cheers.
Wow, beautiful bit of design Brett and really great sounding!
Quite possibly the best overall, Fuzz, overdrive, distortion, Boost pedal ever.
Great demo Brett. Have you tried this in to the simplifier deluxe? Wondering if this would make a good pairing?
Great video Brett, and another great pedal with a lot genres covered in one box. I wonder, what the last pedal you demo'd and then had to buy?
Brett I love you vids . You really show the pedal and what it can be
Thanks! I don't like videos where the subject becomes about the presenter. Drives me nuts. I prefer it to be about the product. So that's what I endeavour to do. Cheers.
Stunning pedal usual great guitar cheers Mr K!👍🎸
That's a very impressive piece of kit. Great playing as always Brett. I see you finally moved that guitar! ; ))
Sounds terrific player! 🤘
This is an awesome sounding pedal & you are so right Mr Brett about wishing this pedal having digital control so that it can have presets savings ability. If it has that, i would definately, without hesitation, would buy this pedal & replace at least 3 of my drive pedals. That would have saved alot of real estate on my board while sounding great at any settings/presets. Ah well, i guess i will have to wait a little longer.
Yeah the last thing he mentions presets would be really the ultimate for live shows.
I want one, or even two... Can it go into a PA and also the return jack of a jam session amp?
Super versatile pedal...connectivity options?
So how many OD pedals you reckon one can have in a chain before the addiction becomes obvious?
Could this be paired with an Speaker IR pedal & compete with a Kemper?
Awesome
I have the simplfier deluxe but I am having trouble finding distortion and overdrive that works well with it. Does anyone know if the silver linings would work better with the simplifier deluxe?
does that thing has a cab sim?
He's not big on feeling, emotional expression, but he's a cool bloke!
They built greatfull pedals
👍🏻👍🏻
Man, this seems to be a very forward thinking company… this pedal covers allot of ground no matter what genre you gravitate toward.
...I honestly can't tell the difference between [like] similar devices... Don't see any worthwhile difference that makes them unique enough to pick one over another. Think and audience could pick out the difference b/t a tube screamer and a boss DS-1? How about an Eventide over an Empress. Just buy an Axe FX 1,2,3,[4] and be done with it!
It sounds like you’re in the play to work camp. I reckon that there are lot of folk in the work to play camp. Playing any musical instrument is about the nuances. Collecting pedals are about the nuances. Having a Les Paul, and a Tele is about the nuances. I enjoy the nuance, and I own this pedal.. I’m absolutely smitten by this pedal.
