Banks in Uk won’t accept it unless it’s bagged up. My stupid misses would say to me use; the Coinstar or Constar to be precise at 12%. That’s £12 in every £100. She’d tell me; How much do you value your time counting it out, bagging up and taking it to bank. I’d gladly accept her advice if she wasn’t spend her him watch crap on tv and internet. She lives mortgage free owns two properties and spend money like water. Nah.. I count it thanks darling. Remember their was a time we didn’t have £12 to spare. I shall remain humble
01. Choose something really expensive from a supermarket. 02. Take it to a self checkout. 03. Scan items. 04. Put in all your coins. 05. Cancel payment. You should get the exact amount back in notes and spare change. It's better than Coinstar that takes a 12%. Or better off, just go to the Bank.
Do It BEFORE Putting Them Into Saving Jars/Tins Or In This Case Treasure Chest. Then When Your Ready To Cash In, Your Safe In The Knowledge Its Face Value To Face Value. And Stop Using Coinstar And Giving Them 12%
I have two bigger boxes like this and they have my coin, currency and bullion collection. Gold, silver, platinum and titanium. Gold fractional eagles and foreign. Silver coins and rounds. A couple of small platinum ingots. A one pound bar of titanium. My two boxes are heavy and valuable.
Coinstar will take a good year and a half from ya. We are helping these companies out and they charge us. wtf It should be criminal to charge to exchange money for money.
You could try going to the bank but you’d have to separate all the money unless you get a coin separator and put them in coin rolls and take it to the bank you use and ask to deposit it usually don’t wanna take it cause they gotta count but do the coin rolls and they just take em usually don’t count it cause then theyd have to rip it open
@@giftedlizard1458 a lot of people collect and save them like it's gold. There is a market for everything in this world. No need to get mad. I'm stating facts if that means anything these days.

Anyone commenting guy should go to the bank should know banks only take change if it’s rolled up. They’ll give you the coin rolls for free if you’re a member but gone are the days you can bring in a big bag of change to a major bank and get cash back at no charge. Sorting/manually rolling coins is tedious and getting a machine that does both cost 100 bucks plus so unless you’re paying in cash/receiving coin change often you’ll break even after that cost. BUT coinstar does allow you to get full value if you get a gift card instead of cash. Lots of major brand choices (apple, wal mart, Amazon, Nike, etc.) that most people would use the money to buy stuff from anyways.
Useless saving those coins. The machine will deduct 12% of the total amount u get. A high percentage of deductions!!!! If you go to a bank I think there are no deductions at all.
But then he loses almost 12% of his coins to coinstar!
@marcusplays7926that’s gay tho
@Marcus Plays nigga fuck a gift card😂😂😂. That shit strictly for one store😭😭u lost when u bought that gift card
I was looking for this comment and I found it. If that was me I'd keep my change longer. I regret not keeping my other coins
NOT IF HE GET AN AMAZON OR WALMART CARD.
Exactly, just go to your bank instead.
Take that crap to the bank and quit paying coin stars fee!

In America u have to roll up the coins some people don’t have the time to do that.
Plus, the tellers would hate to count every coin in every roll. They denied me once before to take my massive coin savings.
If you opt for gift cards there is no fee 😊
Bro got 50 bucks back

The thing is, a lot of banks don't have coin counting machines anymore.

So dumb, he could have had silver coins and or very valuable coins. Plus he lost 12%. Should have gone to a bank
That's why the coinstar has silver coins in the reject slot.
