I've already decided on Michelin ps4s. It's just that amazing. Gonna put that on megane rs 280 edc... The factory tires Bridgestone potenza s001/s007 is just not that good. So the only thing I'm looking now is... Which is better lightweight forged wheels or pure carbon wheels ?

I'd put the DWS06 Plus at #1 for wet weather driving. East Coast weather is very unpredictable and having good wet weather traction is a must as our drivers tend to speed regardless of weather conditions and we have puddles on certain highways especially near bridges.
Overall from reviews and a friend who runs the AS4, he thinks they are better than the DWS06 which I'd agree. Hopefully the guy over at TyreReviews does a test on the DWS06 Plus which I run b/c these tires are really good.

The Continental seems like the best all around choice for road driving performance in a large variety of tires. The Federal seems like it is most popular for people who want their tires stretched as their number one priority. The Michelin sounds like it technically could be the best for warmer climates, but is only for few sizes like you would expect on a Corvette. Am I wrong about the availability size wise? I live in a climates that regularly drops below 40F so it sounds like the Continental are the better choice.

Lastly, need to think if you want longer lasting & more eco tires, or just wanna send it. Not Universal! Tbh, all seasons are the worst of both worlds imo, but they work for commuters

I'm currently running Continental SportContact 6 SSR, max performance summer tires, they're made for sedans/coupes and have a Z speed rating (186mph). Depends on your needs! Tire Rack is what I'd use to find different tires, but honestly it depends on your individual needs/wants. Some people swear to certain companies over others, their compounds do vary slightly, giving you less life/more grip or lesser grip, more eco. I'd say to consider how fast you'd honestly be going (MAX) and get that speed rating firstly, then it depends how much you're willing to pay! Also, some tires only come in certain sizes, so be sure they're compatible. Lastly, Fitment Industries does have a gallery to check what other people with your car are running, to get ideas as well. Good luck!

Just picked up a set Of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's. I have to say, these blow the DWS06 That I was running before out of the water. Handling and grip is way better. Also If you are running a kinda stance setup mixed with performance I would avoid the DWS06 and go for these. The DWS06 has alot of sidewall complaints with them being too soft, and failing. This happened to me after less than 10k Miles I blew out a sidewall and the other was on its way out as well.

The SS595 are loud, and absolute dog shit in winter conditions. I had a set on a RSX a couple years ago, and they're on my wife's 8th Gen Civic now. We found out they're terrible in light snow this year, would not recommend for All Season use, for summer, spring, and fall they're ok at best.

Last fall I decided I’m doing suspension upgrade on my NC1 Miata. Lost my job so I had to postpone the plan till this year. Still needed tires so I bought the Federal SS595 to hold me over till I can change rim sizes. Cost was a major factor since these are temporary. I got my four for $53.14 a piece. Cheap right? I find these decent in wet, sticky on dry but the side walls are weak. The side roll is pretty bad and the response is noticeably lacking. But, for the price I’m happy and they look sexy as hell. In your video you show mounted backwards, just saying. These aren’t listed as Directionals but the sipe pattern screams otherwise. I have gotten used to lack of response but can’t wait to move up to the Conti or Michelin’s mentioned here when I do my suspension and wheel size upgrade.
